37.0.2 Firefox crashes often

Firefox crashes every few minutes. No matter if I watch a video on Youtube or have just one tab open with Google on it and nothing else happening.

I tried 'safe mode' and she always does. Here are the last few (many are ones I made using a Youtube video which I can get for crash there, even though the latest accidents little happened when I post this message here).

Here are the latest "subject: crashes" links:

Here are some of them. I have a fight of 50 or 60 more if you need it.

This is probably caused by Trusteer report post, you have installed on your computer? If so and you do not need, please remove it, otherwise please contact them for assistance.

They are an annoying extension that some banks require that you use. It tends to cause problems in Firefox on once a year.

    All,

This looks like a bug with Flash player debug plugin.

Please download the latest version of Flash player 9.0.115 debugging plugin
    location http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

The link should show - 03/12/2007 - versions of updated Linux Debugger (aka

    standalone players.

You don't need standalone player although it comes together. After
you unzip the file, you will see a /plugin/ directory that contains
    libflashplayer.so

copy it to your $HOME/.mozilla/plugins/ for root users directory it

Restart the browser and confirm if you run the debug version of FP

  • MAC 10.8 - Firefox crashes often

I completely deleted Firefox 17.0.1, deleted my (firefox), reset firefox profile using menu troubleshooting. But the problem persists, it is random and can not find a certain task that causes the problem. Currently I also can't access the preferences menu as this may cause firefox to crash. EU deal to this for a while and eventually give up. The only thing I've tried to change is the homepage.

My Firefox crashes often when I try to open a site in a tab or more. The gel lasts for a few seconds but its really frustrating.

The version is the latest stable version (3.6.13)

  • Firefox crashes after closing any window.

I have this problem that firefox always stuck at like 20 seconds every time when I close another window of firefox. I usually have several firefox windows open at the same time. When I'm near one of them, the rest of them get stuck seconds before they can do anything, sometimes fell (not common). I see that firefox crashing usually has to do with some windows of firefox were running online video, like youtube or others. It can be any advertising on a Web site that is in the form of moving images. But crashing isn't really common. Just stuck everytime when I close a window of firefox among others.

I thought it was because my computer is old but Internet Explorer doesn't have this problem on my computer. I even downgraded firefox to version 28 ( I used to have the latest, 36?) That did not solve the problem. I am running on windows 7. I would like to keep using firefox because it allows add-on so I don't want to switch to IE. Does anyone know what the problem is? Thanks.

Take all your suggestions, I updated Adobe flash player. Checked, but there is nothing to update on the graphics card. Check the extensions you mentioned (and disable and enable as suggested), okay, once I have disabled this "dictionary tooltip 1.7" extension, firefox works great. Any delay to the closure of firefox windows more.

(But the adobe flash player update seems to be a bad idea. Now Firefox, in general, is a bit slower running more often. "But I tell myself that I can still downgrade flash drive and it does not seem to cause a problem with firefox running on my computer). In any case, should I disable this "dictionary tooltip" to solve this problem?

AW, too bad. I looked hard for a good add-on English Dictionary. I am a stranger and really need a dictionary English somple surf any website. More English dictionary add-on is too fancy. Click on the word and it will be displayed as, that you want you, dictionary, thesaurus, or something else, or what dictionary you want your definition of etc.

I want just an add-on of simple English dictionary that will give me a definition right now. With this fancy add-on dictionary, my clicking on a single page, double or triple. It's really bad when I have to click 20 times, becoming now forty times (or sixty times) just for a single page. If suggestions about this simple English dictionary add-on is there someone?

  • 24 of Firefox crashes constantly every day on Windows 7 64 bit

Firefox crashes every day! It has been a long time and I'm starting to get frustrated. It hangs just for unknown reasons. I don't have any Norton software. I tried to restart Firefox in safe mode, but it crashes before entering. I tried restarting Firefox from the start, as if I just installed but nothing. Here's the latest report of the accident I have: bp-c602fe74-e94f-477c-8212-a97e32131017

Hello, Accel, your accident was caused by a library named BitGuard.dll - when google you name this file, it is often associated with malware, so I assume that your system is infected...

Please run a full scan of your system with software security already in place and the various tools such as the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner, microsoft safety scanner and kaspersky security scan.

  • Firefox crashes frequently in Win7 64-bit.

Firefox version 20.0 crash often. I upgraded to V21.0 and accidents.

    Accidents are:
-Infrequent and is not consistent. Happen on sites based on the text as well as sites that use Flash.
    -Cannot be replicated.

I scoured websites and technical support, according to their suggestions, I did the following:
-Update of Flash, Shockwave, Adobe Air.
-Started in Mode safe - incident occurred.
-Uninstalled Firefox completely using Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled.
-Removed AVG Free with AVG and reinstalled removal tool.
-ATI Radeon HD4200 video card driver update.

Shockwave Flash is obsolete and that can cause some problems that make your browser crash.

You do not also use the latest version of Firefox. Maybe upgrade to Firefox 22.0 patch issue.

  • Firefox crashes when I try to access some sites protected by password

Since Firefox updated to 17.0.1, every day, I have this problem. Often when I go to a site like ebay or my Bank, after entering my password, Firefox crashes. When I close Firefox and try to start it again, it does not start. Internet Explorer then does not either. I need to restart. I never had this problem before 17.0.1. I have a desktop running Windows XP and all updated.

It seems that the problem is resolved by updating Trusteer report to the latest version: 1207.40. I don't know why the report software was not being updated automatically on my PC but when I've manually updated the problem disappeared.

  • Found 0 results for how to UNINSTALL Firefox 9.0.1? I installed it last night and Firefox crashed maybe 20 times since then. The previous version crashes almost never. Help, please

Since installing Firefox 9.0.1 YESTERDAY evening on my iMac, which is running OSX v. 10.5.8, Firefox hangs now every few minutes. It often happens that I'm going from one site to the other - when I click on a site referenced to my favorites, Firefox crashes as the following website is coming. I've NEVER had this problem with Firefox before. I need to uninstall it and go back to the previous version of Firefox, but OSX is not a simple routine "back to the previous configuration. Or... Please immediately send a fix for version 9.0.1 (assuming that others have the same problem).

Follow the suggestions mentioned in the following articles:

Check and tell if its working.

Might not be related to your problem, but some of your Plugins are out of date

    • Update all of your Firefox Plugins-> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
    • During the installation of the Plugins download files hotfix, remove the check mark to download any other software options with your Plugins (for example, toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)

It's to the point where I downgraded to Firefox 7.0.1. Any time I try to publish or make any changes to a post using Blackboard, Firefox crashes. On several occasions. • Firefox crashes when I sign in anything that requires a name of user and password

When I try to connect to things like Gmail or any other site which asks me to enter a user name and password where I did not signed in automatically, Firefox crashes immediately. I can restore the tabs, but only to return to the sign in screen. This made it impossible for me to check my e-mail from my own computer.

Well, I suggest you check all unnecessary applications that are run at startup. Often people forget (or don't know) on startup programs and run the software that they do not know is running because it runs automatically at startup. Startup programs are not started on safe mode, of course, if the culprit is perhaps. I guess. I think your best bet is to search for malware. To search for malicious software, install, update and run these programs in this order. They are all free for personal use, some have limited functionality in their 'free mode', but the features you won't miss are not really necessary to find and remove the problem you have. Remember that not all programs detect the malware even!

I also suggest to contact someone with experience with these things, if you are not comfortable doing the fixing it yourself.
