38 of Firefox do problem in yahoo to linux ubuntu 14.04

When I am browsing yahoo mail it shows my Inbox ok. Then I opened an e-mail to read. Now the problem, when I close this read the mail then nothing shows. If I click on Inbox it does not show anything. But if I click on spam it works. Even once when I click on the Inbox folder it does not show anything. So, I have to refresh the site to read the second e-mail. Once again this process. Last day, I tried to respond to an email. So, I tried several times to download a zip file of office but I can't. Then, I sent this mail via google chrome.

Hello

Refresh (called "Reset" in older versions of Firefox) can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox as his default factory while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose all the extensions, toolbar customizations, and certain preferences. See article Firefox Refresh - reset modules and parameters for more information.

Refresh for Firefox:

  1. Open the troubleshooting information page using one of the following methods:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

and select troubleshooting information. Should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

    • If you are unable to access the Help menu, type Subject: support in your address bar to bring up the troubleshooting information page.
  2. At the top right of the page, you should see a button that says 'Refresh Firefox' ('reset Firefox' in older versions of Firefox). Click on it.
  3. Firefox closes. Once the update process is complete, Firefox will display a window with the imported information.
  4. Click Finish and reopen Firefox.

This corrects the problem? Please report to us!

Thank you.

How can I remove the automatic reset of Firefox for the terrible yahoo search engine? I want Google as default search engine. Here's what I've tried:
    a. choose Google over yahoo and then remove the yahoo of preferences: Firefox always springs back to yahoo.
    b. download the app 'Google by default'. It worked on previous versions of Firefox, before V 38.0.1. But it seems that the commercial interests behind now bypassed Firefox that, as well, because that 'Default Google' application now no longer works.
    c. erasing and then re - install the "Google by default" application. No improvement.

If there is no way to deal with this, so I'm dumping FF and switch to Google Chrome.

Hello, I am wary of some of your extensions, please Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

If the problem is caused by an extension, once it has been removed or disabled, you may need to run SearchReset to restore your settings.

Firefox opens directly on Yahoo. There is no Firefox banner.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance/themes).

Since the reset Firefox fonts sometimes show default sizes hurt, but if I zoomed in several levels and then zoom out, the problem usually disappears. Solutions?

Update: I found that just by clicking on the Office has also the problem disappears.

You may have disabled use of Firefox graphics acceleration hardware before and simply not turned off again to your new profile.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved or all points to be improved?

  • Problem with Yahoo mail

I have a yahoo email accountl.  My Droid will not notify my when I get a new email.  To access my e-mail I need to touch my email app symbol and manually refresh my Inbox to view it, or I need to access it through my browser.  The Motorolla tech said that they say yahoo users to access their mail through their browser for now until the problem with yahoo is resolved.  Is this true?  The main reason that I have a smart phone is to warn me when I have a new email.  All my settings are correctly defined.

I don't seem to have the problem at all.  My yahoo account is working and updated very well.

  • Put in page works with IE and Firefox, different problems with the iPhone and Blackberry

I created a website using DW CS4 www.hollisterairshow.com . When using my PC WinXp/IE and Firefox without problems occur in the page layout. However, I have a couple of users who have reported problems when you view the web site by using their smartphones.

An iPhone user said the second line of the section containing the flag / date / flag is not centered, but left-aligned, everything is fine.

A Blackberry user indicates the second line of the topic is properly aligned, but the menu bar that must appear on the left is missing!

I don't have an iPhone or Blackberry, is it possible that I can test this using my PC? Does anyone have an idea what could be causing these issues?

    Thank you

    Tony

I agree with the previous poster here.  I think that the best response to this is to create a separate site for mobile users, which is called case of detection.  It will be thought to create a site that is optimal in both environments.

  • Satellite M70-164: heating under Linux Ubuntu problem

    Hello

I use Linux Ubuntu Edgy under my laptop and when I play UT2004 I got a rate of about 90fps, but after 10 minutes of play fps drastically drop to 15/20 fps!

I noticed that the pleasure never operate at full speed on linux! and to check I suspended my laptop and ubuntu has a bug that when you turn on your computer again, the fan will always run at full speed, so I went with the fan at full speed play UT again for about 1 h 30 and the FPS does not let it go this time, so I concluded that it is a heating problem.

I installed omnibook but my phoenix bios do not support the fans... under windows, I have no problem.

What should I do? Thanks :)

I have no problem with Edgy on U200, with games such as Sauerbraten.

  • problem with yahoo mail on firefox 30.0

A few days ago a different version (and apparently much earlier) Yahoo mail appeared on my 30.0 FF browser. It is not working properly, but there is no way to change the settings. A link to "Switch to the new Yahoo Mail", but it does not work. Can I still use yahoo mail on IE, but not on FF. I tried the usual bugs (opening FF in safe mode, disabling modules, clear the cache, etc.) without success.

Hi Dennis, for what it's worth, Yahoo mail looks normal to me in Firefox 30.

Have you noticed any problems with secure sites (HTTPS) since this problem has begun, such has duty to make exceptions, or not properly apply styles or lack of features?

Firefox changed my suffix in my reply-to-email address of yahoo.com to sbcglobal.com. It is still correct in Safari, so I know it's a Firefox issue. Please correct that I can't send emails.

  • Update firefox to 36.0 Yahoo toolbar has only just gone mail elsewhere 35.0 was OK how 35.0 back?

Question above says it all. I reinstalled Yahoo toolbar. No help. I don't have the Yahoo toolbar, but all my customization went on this subject. I can't right click on the toolbar to add things. I made the mistake of updating to Fox 36 on three different computers. They are all the same now. Lost toolbar. Did not update computer friends and that's OK with showing all Yahoo toolbar customizations. (35.0) I need to go back to Fox 35. After update to 36.0, there was another update, but it did not help. Thank you

  • Firefox does not open yahoo mail or google

Update the latest Mozilla firefox 33.0.2 with a maintenance package. Now, I can't open anything through firefox - my yahoo mail, google accounts, search in google, etc. Any suggestions on how to get firefox to work?

Someone had a similar problem as you. Follow the steps below and tell me what happens if you try to connect to Yahoo after doing:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

worked through advice to yahoo so I did a system restore and the same screen came up to the top... tried the

Once you are on the tab "Content" in the preferences of Firefox, you will need to click on the 'Colors' button in the box 'fonts and colors '. There is also a checkbox to allow pages to choose their own colors. I had the same problem of white background in Yahoo mail, but once I checked this box, everything's fine! I hope it works for you!
