3D in Photoshop

So I try to put the Mexican flag in the back of an object 3d with a cross.

The front is beautifully not centered no problem.

However it back when I change the image by using the broadcast option below happens. Don't know how to fix it.

Untitled - 1.psd @ 66.7% (copy Rectangle 1, RGB/8) *.

Untitled-1_psd___66_7___Rectangle_1_copy__RGB_8___.jpg

Hi John,.

I'm having a little trouble to identify the problem here - do you want to say that adjusting the broadcast properties throws off-center image? Or are you referring to the quality of the image issue itself?

If the problem is the position of the flag on the surface, you can adjust it by clicking on the menu drop down next to the sample Diffuse texture and choosing 'change the UV properties '. This gives you a dialog box where you can adjust the position and scale of the texture map.

If I'm misunderstanding the question, my apologies - help by explaining more clearly.

The actual program pictures works fine. I also see the library by email and online (as a download on shutterfly). 2 hrs with tech does support last night and 3 people later no resolution.  Reinstalled Sierra. No change. • El Capitan & Photoshop

I installed El Capitan in January 2016.  HUGE mistake, because I was not able to use my Photoshop CS3 since then, and I'm an artist.  I lost business as a result of the loss of Photoshop.  El Capitan does not allow me to install Java 6 legacy, and I'll be doomed if I have to pay a monthly fee for what I already have and have Adobe hostage my work if I stop paying.

I'm afraid to go to Sierra, because this last nightmare with El Capitan.

What can I do to get Photoshop CS3 to work again?  If it is not possible, is there another program like Photoshop (and Adobe Illustrator, who also no longer works) is not require a monthly fee, to replace? (I'm looking for this answer for months, and nothing I saw was useful.)

Alternative to Photoshop, you may consider Pixelmator or affinity Photo.

They are great and pretty inexpensive. No rental, only buy them on the App Store.

I think that Pixelmator is $30 and $ 50 for Photo affinity; Pixelmator I 50% discount on a promotion, and it serves me very well; but I'm not a photographer or an artist. Unless there are some Photoshop features that you need, neither of these is likely to do very well.

As a possible replacement for Illustrator, consider affinity Designer. It looks pretty good, but I have not yet used.

All three of these programs offer a free trial, so there is nothing to lose.

Try them out and decide for yourself.

Are you sure that Photoshop CS3 is supported by Sierra?

I had a similar message when I updated to El Capitan, but there is a way to install the old version of Jawa:

Requirement of Java: At the launch of some old Adobe software for the first time in OS X El Capitan, OS X may say that a Java runtime must be installed. If fitted with a button, click on it. You can also download the installation of Java directly from the Java for OS X 2015-001 to the Apple Support page and install that. Note: Sometimes, when you visit this link for Java for OS X, you get a blank page. If you see this in the Safari web browser, try to open Safari preferences, click the Advanced tab and clear the option ' never use smaller font sizes that... ". ». If this does not work, try this direct download link: Download Java for OS X 2015-001

Some users have reported that the number of launch of Adobe is not fixed until you restart a second time after installation of Java. In addition, some report that such as CS3 earlier versions do not work with the latest version of Java (currently Java 8), but it does not work if they install Java 6, which is provided by Apple in the link above.

We can understand that some people do not install Java because that for its security problems, but OS X does not some Adobe applications run without it. In the case of Photoshop, said Adobe Photoshop does not need Java, but OS X implements the message anyway.

    Hi bamxxvillexx66,

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. It looks like your QuickTime player does not launch as an editing application in your Photoshop CS5. You can try to uninstall and reinstall the QuickTime application.

Uninstall of QuickTime 7 for Windows

    Download QuickTime 7.7.9 for Windows

This should have your QuickTime application works with your Photoshop as it should. Making GIF happy!

Adobe has many applications of Photoshop.

Search the IOS App Store for only Adobe.

If you want to maintain an all workflows Adobe, Photoshop, in order to get most of the functionality of Photoshop on a computer, you will need to use all the different Adobe Photoshop applications to work with.

If you are using an older version of Photoshop and not the current Adobe Creative cloud suite with subscription, most Adobe applications, in order to better integrate them will pay for a monthly subscription of CreativeCloud or connect to your cloud Creative account if you are already paying a subscription.

If you are using an older version of Photoshop, you'll need to use a service like DropBox Cloud or box or some other Cloud Service, like iCloud Drive Apple, Amazon Cloud Drive or GoogleDrive to bandy your work back and forth between your iPad and your computer.

Adobe, I guess, won't or don't know how to create a version of Photoshop on iOS that is a close approximation of Photoshop on a full blown computer.

Adobe Photoshop full in a variety of applications to cover different areas of Photoshop broke.

You'll find yourself using the multiple applications of Photoshop to cover everything you do with full Photoshop.

You'll find yourself using several apps to do a great many things, perhaps more easily on a computer, no matter what, in any case.

    This is how iOS works.

There is not a single application that will cover everything that you could possibly need.

Working in the iOS is mainly working with multiple applications.

For the work and digital painting and illustration of image editing, you will find that you will have to constantly import/export files from an application to another.

If you don't like this multiple iOS approach Photoshop app, your only alternatives are Pixelmator for iPad and may, in addition, http://bit.ly/joc0zm.

I use apps and paint a little image editing applications, but Pixelmator and http://bit.ly/joc0zm are apps that are in the top of the applications on my big iPad Pro.

There are other image editors and applications of paint you can use

    I have a little.

  • If I switch to photoshop CS4 ios10 stops

I'm on a desktop MAC, currently 10.7.5. Photoshop CS4 is running fine. If I'm going to 10.8 or more PS might stop running?

All Adobe CS4 will work perfectly on OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion, OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks.

Most applications (including Photoshop CS4) CS4 still work on OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 is the only Adobe CS4 app tha is still fully functional in OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan.

No Adobe CS4 applications won't work on the new macOS Sierra.

I'm using Adobe CS4 Design Premium under 10.6.8 10.8.5 and 10.9.5 no problem.

Before embarking on a major update of the OS, it would be wise, judicious and careful if you have a good one, the backup job from your current system to a connected external and Mac to format key USB connected external OR USB, Thunderbolt or FireWire 800, Mac formatted hard drive. Then use either app of your Mac OS X Time Machine to back up your system on the external drive OR buy, install, and use a soft, like CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper, cloning of data to make an exact copy and updates (clone) of the hard drive internal all. This step is really necessary in case something goes wrong with the installation of the new operating system or just you dislike the new operating system, you have a very easy way / procedure to return your Mac to its former State.

Then, determine if your Mac meets all THE minimum installation requirements.

To download and install the OS X 10.8.5 pay Cougar or the OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan free (if he is even still now available because Apple has just released the free Sierra macOS), you need one of these Mac:

OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion bought code from download by e-mail here.

    http://store.Apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/OS-x-mountain-lion

Apple will send an email to the special download code for the Mac App Store for OS X 10.8.5 Cougar within three days of the purchase of the download code.

    iMac (mid-2007 or later version)

MacBook 13-inch aluminum (Late 2008) (13-inch, early 2009 or later)

MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2009 or later).

    MacBook Pro (15-inch or 17-inch, Mid/late 2007 or later)

MacBook Air (late 2008 or later)

Mac mini (early 2009 or later)

Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)

    Xserve (early 2009)

    Your Mac must also:

OS X Mountain Lion, Lion, or Snow Leopard already installed 10.6.8

2 GB or more of memory (I highly recommend, at least 4 GB of RAM or more)

8 GB or more of available space

    Then,.

If you run any older Mac of the earlier PowerPC Macs software, then none of this software will work with new versions of OS X (10.7 and beyond). OS X Snow Leopard has a magic and invisible PowerPC emulation application, called Rosetta, that worked seamlessly in the background, allowing even older PowerPC code software to always work in a Mac Intel CPU.

The use of Rosetta finished with OS X Snow Leopard as the Rosetta application has been licensed to Apple, a company called Transitive software, which bought, I think, by IBM and Appe could guarantee is no longer their right to continue to use the latest versions of OS X Rosetta.

Therefore, you must check to see if you have software on your Mac that may be older than, say, 2006 or more.

Also, check the compatibility of application here.

    http://roaringapps.com/

If you have any antivirus installed commercial or hard drive cleanup apps installed on your Mac, like MacKeeper CleanMyMac, TuneUpMyMac, MacCleanse, etc. now would be a good time to completely uninstall these applications by doing a search on Google for how to properly uninstall these types of applications.

These types of applications will only cause your Mac problems later, after the installation of the new version of OS X and you will need to completely uninstall these types of applications later.

Once you have determined this, you should be able to find the latest versions of Mac OS X by clicking on the Mac App Store in the OS X Dock icon, and then connect to the Mac App Store using your Apple ID and password and if you purchased a download code enter this code.

You can start the download and installation process to install the new versions of Mac OS X for the Mac App Store.

    Good luck!

  • iMac screen flashes black in Photoshop CC

    Hello

I am posting this as well in CC Adobe and Apple forums as I do not know where the problem lies, but I would really appreciate this problem:

I use Adobe apps on an iMac CC brand new (still in time to get the full refund). If you use Photoshop CC (2015.5) the entire screen (not only the Photoshop window) goes black for about half a second when any icon tool exceeding a certain size of pixel passes of the tool to the pointer icon icon or vice versa.

This happens for example when the icon of the fate of the area of the image on the menus or the dashboard or window, or when it comes in and out of the right click menu change brush size. Any situation when running the tool pointer or pointer tool. It does not always happen, but it happens most of the time, maybe the type of pointer movement has something to do with it, well it happens with fast or slow transitions.

The problem only occurs when the brush is superior to certain dimensions - never when it is less than the critical size. The critical size may vary depending on whether the Photoshop was opened for a while or just launched (I don't know too much about). There is also an interaction with the hardness of the tool.

    Thus, for example:

On the blur to 0% hardness tool, the screen flashes black when will top 80 pixels-never less than size. 100% hardness, it flashes from 64 pixels. Same for the Brush tool, Eraser, etc. I think it happens with any appreciable tool (don't have not tried them all).

I use a Wacom Intuos PS and the Magic Mouse from Apple. The problem occurs at the same time if they are both connected together or separately.

The problem occurs even when Photoshop is the only application running.

Please help, because it is almost unusable now.

    Specifications of the computer:

    iMac, retina 4 k, 21, 5-inch

Processor: Intel Core i5 to 3.1 GHz

    Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Graphics card: Intel Pro Iris Graphics 6200 1536 MB

The Photoshop memory usage is set to default values:

    4500MB (70% of available memory)

    4 levels of cache

    Tile size 1024K cache

I just downloaded and tried the oldest version of Photoshop - CS6 - available through my driver's license and the problem is exactly the same, this is not limited to a particular version of the CC in Photoshop.

  • El Capitan Photoshop CS3/Java SE 6 issue

After my update to El Capitan, I can no longer launch Photoshop CS3. He insists on the use of Java SE6 but apparently I can not install the older version the latest version of Java is already installed. I have contemplated even remove the latest version to replace it with the older, but once again, it seems a bit counterproductive that I need probably the last update for reasons of security and other applications... Suggestions? (Please note that the latest package of Adobe Creative for me is not an option.) Thank you kindly!

There is nothing about Java 8 Oracle that would prevent you Apple Java 6 installation, which is what the CS3 apps are looking for. They can be installed at the same time.
