4 digit lock feature

I use the fingerprint and the 4-digit lock screen functions on my Z5c.

For some reason any, even if I have the option to put 4 digit lock screen, I can slide up and it will unlock.

When I go to the Security menu and click on screen lock and enter my 4 digit Pin option code reads as follows:

"Because you have enabled access service, your device won't use your screen lock to the enhamce data encryption.

I got the finger print option and the option to lock 4 digit working together properly screen, but now it is not working properly.

The finger print option works fine, any ideas what's wrong with the 4-digit lock screen option?

Thank you

Bobby

  • Phone lock feature?

    Hi guys

I was wondering if someone could help me with this.

I've always had Motorola phones for many years and on the "old", I liked the feature where you can lock your phone with a security lock code, so when someone rings your phone may not be answered until the lock code has been entered. It's the only reason why I had Motorola phones like no other phone had this feature.

Is it possible that I can get the same feature on my defy?

    Thank you very much

I don't think that this option is available, because it is not a part of Android. I looked through all the phone settings, security settings and call settings and could not find this feature.

  • Lock feature

    Hi all

The Lockdown feature works. I use it for the ingredient in formulations.
He replaces 001 002 version when the lock is open.
My question is why system replaces the version but not the 002 values (nutrients, allergens...). I think that the wording must recalculate values automaticcally (without clicking on the update button).

I hope my question is clear.
    Thank you very much.
    Best regards

    Hi Stefano,

I'm afraid that it is worked as expected. However, your request is entirely reasonable. It would be nicer if we can provide a warning to inform the user that their current wording roll up is not correct. I suggest you send an ER so that we can improve our products.

    Thank you

  • What is the lock feature in the input of a formulation section?

    Hi all

I would like to know the exact behavior of the padlock next to an entry in the specifications of formulation.

Example: I add a material (A) as inputs in a formulation (B) and let the unlocked padlock and then I calculate an Output (C).

Now I update (A) material that I used as input.

In this case, I need to refresh the formulation to recalculate the new output values (C), or the values are updated automatically?

Also, if I use the material (A) in a number of formulations, I have to manually update all formulations?

Please let me know if this drug is clear.

    Thank you very much.

    Stefano.

    Hi Stefano,

The lock is used in "get latest revision"feature. This is the behavior:

If the padlock is unlocked an input in formulation spec, the system will always auto-updated the entry to the latest version with the tag 'Approved' in his status of workforce adjustment. for example, you unlock the padlock of A-001 of entry in the formulation has, issue you A-001 of entry at the entrance to A - 002, at the same time, tag you A-002 to a status which is awarded to "approved" workflow, then the entry in the formulation has will automatically update to the A-002 entry.

In your example, I'm not sure what update of the material you have made? system does not automatically update entry basic information until you click "Refresh" of the tools.

    Thank you

    Jessie

I changed model, as suggested. What do have? Perhaps.

And there was another OS update this morning. Was it before? Perhaps.

Or I didn't notice the original switch under Trust Agents? I think I will. I'm not sure.

But it seems not to allow trust to a Wifi network, so I'm back using the application I used anyway lol

But I'm happy to see that everything where it should be now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones dSimple 4-digit password is not being recognised & observed Timeout of security not defining re-creation of my attempts to try again

Hey all the... I retired my Storm 9530 some time ago (my fingers are too big for the touch screen and key of BB contact confirmation system to the key light blue is lost in my porkers, so needless to say I didn't have much success with the storm) and currently active (on TELUS Mobility) a Tour 9630 I received from a friend as a scrap... I have set a password 4 digit simple twice now and have wiped twice the phone because it will not recognize the password I've carefully matched to each time.  Frustrating!

Both times I had the number of attempts to set password on 3, the second time, I deliberately set the security option timeout to 1 minute... thinking that if I waited entry password incorrect one or two attempts (in which case it was me the fat-fingering entry somehow), the number of attempt would be at least 3 reset again... I searched for 'lock' here and came across an answer to a Post of Thread that describes making attention to the key hold them used when setting the password... I can only think of two ways to enter figures: using the 'alt' key and then press the appropriate number pads, or, using the "sym" key and scrolling for the numbers right, one by one... However, now, during my third session of creation of password on the freshly wiped phone, I realize that because the entered password characters are masked, I can simply seized letters instead of numbers all along, a capital letter followed by three lowercase letters - is probably what its likely?  I can't believe it didn't come up here several times - edict of 0558PST27NOV12 FFF - OK, I decided that all the characters went to letters and must have been all lowercase password connection PC GUI-based unlock success of the device.

in any case, this policy of scorched earth to wipe my phone whenever I get incorrect password (somehow) seems harsh... I would like to have a simple lock on the device security, but not at the risk of it being deleted so arbitrarily... If I lost that a dishonest person found, chances are they would just wipe it and get this trigger themselves or, if they were honest, but curious, I'd get it back... wiped.

Is there another way to lock and unlock the phone w/o to the draconian measure wipe?

    Hello

It is excellent that you have discovered, by searching on this site, the solution to your problems of password entry. Play well!

As for your desire for a less drastic locking... feature that would require a separate application to do (I don't know if they exist). After all, the BBs are safer mobile devices available... to diminish the ability of the device lock feature would reduce the overall security of the device.

In my humble OPINION - the device itself is a mere commodity. The data on it, however, are priceless... and protect the data from prying eyes is essential for safe keeping the device in place. Fortunately, RIM provides several FREE methods to backup your data to be used to restore any catastrophic event. All users of BB to use these methods.

    Good luck!

Where I can see that a site is safe there used a visible lock and I don't see any more.

In Firefox 4 and later you no longer have the Status bar which showed the padlock in previous versions of Firefox.

  • Why don't you the symbol "locked" little more?

When I connect to a company website that I want to buy a product, I no longer get the 'padlock' in the lower right of my screen. Locked meant site safe and unblocked meant not to use. Now I get no symbol. It doesn't matter if I also signed on their secure site. (llbean, cabela, amazon, 1800 flowers) all flopped in this regard. Even as I write this I'm not getting a small lock so I don't even know if this is a secure site.
