4 iPod Black screen

I have a touch Ipod4, the power button no longer works some time ago but found a way around this with touch assisted if I need to shut it down, I read that the power button may be stuck, now normally, I don't mean to make my own repairs but this time, I opened the unit but didn't know where the power button.

I thought it wasn't worth playing I know nothing about, when I go back the unit

the screen is black, I can hear Siri when I push the button at the bottom but remains black.

I have it plugged into my computer and Itunes it captures

Thank you"

Dan

You could try a restore in iTunes, but I doubt it would work. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414.

When a button stops working, it is usually time to replace the unit rather than leave it limping along. Unfortunately, you won't be eligible for a replacement, because you have opened the unit and will just have to buy a new pure and simple.

days, my broken iPhone screen, so it worked without me touching even it... then he entered my password randomly and then disabled... and was unusable until I have fix it... now I set the screen and everything... and I KNOW my password... I even put it into restore mode for update and then hope to get the screen "enter in the access code"... but even after the entry "update" and update to the latest firmware he signed again an iPhone is disabled in a full black screen even if I don't want to lose anything since I know my password and I don't want to not erase completely to its default... Thank you for helping...

Once the device is disabled, there is no way to recover the data, or access a screen to enter the access code. You must restore it to try to recover, and then you can restore the device to your last backup. my iPhone 6 alternates between a black screen and the Apple logo, what do I do?

    Hi Nathanielfromwa,

If your iPhone 6 alternates between black screens and the Apple logo, this could be a problem that can be fixed by wiping your iPhone to factory settings. If this is the case, save your iPhone first. I've included links if you need help with backing up your iPhone, but also to reset to the factory settings.

  • the 5s iPhone camera is still stuck in black screen after upgrading to iOS 9.2 still frozen just like with iOS 9.1

I updated my iphone to iOS 9.1 5s, but the camera does not work, most of the time that it was stuck on the black screen. I read in a forum as there are a lot of users affected by the present. "Waited for the iOS 9.2, hoping that it will fix the bug. Finally iOS 9.2 has been launched. Happy to download it thinking that it is the answer to the question of the camera. For a while camera works perfectly, but after 2 days, it was stuck at the black screen forever. It worsen the problem of camera. Hoping someone can help me to fix my phone's camera. Thank you in advance.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • Black screen problem.

    Hello!

While I was watching a movie from Itunes on my iphone and took a screenshot. As I looked in my album, I ended up getting a black screen. There is a desire for this?

  • iPhone 7 more stuck on black screen with the spinning wheel

How can I fix it? I tried to reset, go into DFU mode, recover from iTunes. Nothing works. I can't use iTunes because he wants me to grant access from my iPhone is not responding. DFU mode doesn't work, the screen does not any combination of seconds I hold down the buttons to. This has happened more than an hour. Should I just wait for the battery to die? Please note that I do not live in the United States or the U.K. or anywhere with an Apple Store, I can take it to.

    Thank you

Hello! I think that I may have a solution to our problem of the black screen with the circle of rotation.

I came across this post today because my iPhone all nine 7 (which I've upgraded to the latest ios) also got stuck on a black screen with the circle of rotation. I tried to update some of my apps, when suddenly the screen froze. I clicked once on the home button and the screen become black with the subsequent appearance of the circle of rotation.

I have tried everything - simultaneously press the home button and power (does not work). connected to itunes to do a restore (it won't let me not because my "find my iPhone" was turned on - but I could not turn off because my phone was insensitive).

In any case, a very useful Mr. Damon (Senior Advisor to Apple) helped me via chat to solve the problem.

    Here's what I did:

    1. make sure that your iPhone is disconnected from the socket or the computer.

    2. hold the POWER button and the VOLUME DOWN button at the same TIME. If it works, the screen should turn off almost immediately.

    3. connect your iPhone to the computer. (when I have connected to the computer, my iPhone automatically on and was ready to be reused).

The steps below are for those whose iPhones did not turn with the above steps. The following steps are designed to allow you to disable remote your 'find my iPhone', so you can do a manual restore from iTunes.

    4. go to www.icloud.com.

    5. click on Find iPhone

    6. given that the phone is turned off already, he won't be able to find it. On the top bar, click DEVICES.

    7. click on your iPhone.

    8. click on "delete account".

    9. go into your itunes and do a restore.

I did have to do steps 4 to 9 more, because as I said, my iPhone automatically activated after step 3.

This really worked for me. I hope this works for everyone else too! Have a great day!

  • iOS 10 wheel black screen

Been using iOS 10.0.1 for about a week on an iPhone 6 and it is buggy. The questions below are only occurred since the upgrade to iOS 10. Please fix in the next version or offer a solution.

1 random black screen with the spinning wheel. The upgrade went very well, so not this black screen. But at least every day my phone stopped responding and displays a black screen with the spinning wheel. After 5 to 10 seconds, I invited me to enter my password as if the phone has rebooted. I'm not the only person knows - and even managed to capture the image below.

2 - I activated the option 'open finger rest' in respect of the accessibility of the home screen, but this does not always work. Once again, about once a day, to rest my finger to open the results in me being invited to press the home button to unlock. Whenever this happened I checked and confirmed that 'rest finger to open' has been enabled.

    Thank you

I have the same problem.  3 co-workers have the same problem.  I opened a discussion with the Apple support, however, they said it was just my phone and that I should backup my phone and do a factory restore.  This is pretty extreme, especially considering that 100% of my immediate peers with iPhone devices 6 face the same frustration.

  • MacBook (2010) starts with black screen with flashing Apple logo

I recently got ahold of a Macbook Pro 2010 running very slow so I did a reinstall of the operating system (which was a living nightmare, Macintosh is not as easy to manage as it was at the time of PowerPC) once I got to the top and running, I decided to upgrade to the latest version of El Capitan (an update (not an upgrade I already had a version out there) once I rebooted and let the computer do its thing he began to start up normally, but after finishing the progress bar, he went to a black screen (with the screen still on) that flashed the boot from time to time Apple logo. I forced shut down the computer and start in safe mode with success (that's how I'm typing this post now).

    Thanks in advance.

When you reinstalled, did you remove any third-party system before reinstalling.

I am facing a problem where my iphone 6 randomly shows a black screen with a loading circle in the Center for about 10 seconds and then wakes up to the password lock screen.

  • I need help on my macbook pro i5 13inch mid 2012 model when I open all black screen

I stopped just my macbook pro, when I open all the black screen but it has power... can I bring it to apple store to fix. How will they charge?

The cost will be dependent on what may be wrong.  It could be the GPU or the screen is who is several hundred dollars.  It could be the connection of the screen, which will be very little costly to repair or even for free if only the connection is loose.

Foe a final quote, bring the product to an Apple store genius bar.

Its existence on your iPhone is maybe a problem.  You can try to use the iPhone without this "shield" because it can hinder the iPhone proximity sensors.
