  I don't know why, but people think downloading firefox from mozilla.org you will get the version of Yahoo or Yahoo has somehow bought Mozilla.   The problem is usually related to your firewall not allowing access to an unknown program; the new version of Firefox is not your firewall, although the old version. Remove references to firefox.exe in the list of programs in your firewall, then start Firefox, let the firewall re - detect Firefox and give it permissions to access the internet.

  For the past 2 years my laptop works fine with the same hardware configuration. It stops working suddenly MS websites. I did not have all the hardware changes.

Microsoft.com/en-gb/ and other Microsoft Web sites.  The pages would empty.  If I saw the source of the page, it showed what appeared to be good code but it wouldn't display.  Tried it on 3 computers and different browsers and finally discovered our firewall was blocking these 2 sites; optimizely.com & webtrends.com.  Additional troubleshooting led me to below errors in firefox debugging:

  The only way I can get the Microsoft Web sites to view is by adding exceptions for optimizely.com & webtrends.com.

  I had to replace my HARD drive in my computer. I installed my Windows XP Home SP2 disc. After installation, I used my SP3 upgrade drive and my drive to upgrade to IE8. After you install all my drivers, I tried to get Windows dates and discovered that I could not access the Microsoft web sites. I get Internet Explorer cannot display this page. I tried to find out why this is happening and how to correct the situation, but have not found an answer that works yet. Can someone give me an answer to this question.

  I have another (used) computer that I formatted the HDD installed and on Windows 7 and have had no problems to access the Microsoft web sites on. It uses the same modem cable like the other computer so I guess that everything is ok with my Internet connection. This problem seems to be only with Windows XP Home SP 3.

  Currently the site that I'm reviewing to make some updates uses asp to take advantage of the content in the pages.

  I need to introduce another section of the Web site using php to query a database and return the results. Can I do this using php, even if asp is used in another part of the Web site? I don't want to mix and match the language php and asp on the same page, it should be good, Yes?

  If so presumably, I need to create an additional database using mysql instead of some asp uses. Is it okay to have 2 databases for a single site, all the conflicts? As is standard practice for the server to run asp and php together? I can not in the server at the moment to test whether php is running, but I guess that's the first port of call.

  While I'm here maybe a php person can help me with another php question?

  Safari-> Preferences-> privacy-> Remove All Data Web site...

  His does not work. Before clicking on the button I have 108 Web sites stored cookies or other data, I click the button, and nothing happens... I'm still 108 cookies.

  If I understand your message that nothing happens when you try to remove the Safari Web site data. I know how it is important for you to be able to remove the Safari Web site data. I recommend that you restart your Mac into safe mode and see if you can remove the data from the Web site in secure mode.

  Here are the steps to restart your Mac in safe mode:

  Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening.

  From your Mac in safe mode does the following:

  * Check your startup disk and attempts to fix problems if necessary directory
  * Loads only required kernel extensions
  * Prevents the elements start and the login items open automatically
  * Disables installed user fonts
  * Delete font caches, hiding the kernel and other files of the system cache
  * Together, these changes can help resolve or isolate issues related to your startup disk.

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. start or restart your Mac.
  2. as soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. release the SHIFT key when you see the Apple logo appears on the screen.

  After you delete data from the Web site in safe mode restart your Mac and allow it to start up as usual. Then test the issue again.

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  OK, I 'solved' myself. I downloaded a "dmg" on the site yesterday (7.2 v), but when I started to drag the 7.2 app in my apps folder, he "warned" in ERROR that I was running a later version on the computer. So, I did not install 7.2 yesterday.
