• Need help with Expansion Bay connections

  My father last week bought a desktop p6240f with Windows 7 computer.  He went out and bought a Blu - ray DVD player because there is an expansion Bay.  Well, I went to install in its new PC to see that it doesn't seem to be enough connections for me to install that.  Both the existing drive and the new Blu - ray player have the motherboard and the power of SATA connections.  Well there are a lot of connections to motherboard SATA, however there are only 2 SATA (1 active DVD drive) power connectors and 1 for the hard drive.  There is a lot of supply connections 4 pins, but that does not help me.  Because there are a lot of 4 connections of the pins I thought maybe I could then just use an old drive that came from his las PC... it is not possible either because there is no IDE connection to the motherboard.

  At this point, I see absolutely no way for me to install a secondary in this PC drive, unless anyone knows of any connection of converter that will connect to the power connection 4 pins at the other end a SATA power connection.

  Any help in this matter will be useful.

Didn't come with much else though...  None of the drives. (I hope that this optimization of Dell for Autodesk 3Ds Max software, they talked, is on the Dell.com site.  There is the Windows key, so all I need is a disc to install Windows $10...  I asked; a DVD of resources as well as the Energy Star AND one of the "change 5.25" to 2.5 "bays free install Kits. But I hope that if they send a Correct Power Supply, etc, the kit of disk resources and 2.5 "can come with it.   So I was faced with this program I have for the past few months but I'm almost there. I have a program that creates several berries and place one after the other in an xml file, and each table has its unique name. Now, I would create a VI that takes this XML file and when the user enters the name of the table specific they are seeking it goes into the xml file concludes the table in its entirety under this name and displays in an indicator of output to be read on the VI. A sample of my xml file and the VI that creates this xml file is attached.

  I'm slightly older R300 servers Dell that I want to use a laboratory VSAN. Arrange it in two locations of drive and a RAID controller and I want to know if it is possible to use these for such a facility. I plan on keeping a 1 TB SAS drive in a slot and using a smaller SSD in the other, this configuration in a JBOD mode (in other words, doubt the controller supports true JBOD, so guess it'll be 'RAID-0 disk'). As I understand, ESXi must reside somewhere else, then maybe a USB pen drive?

  Yes, you need SSD of at least 10% of the size of the HARD disk drives in your disk group. Let's say that your have 1 TB HDD to add in a disk group, to support you need at least 100 GB SSD or more.

  8 GB should be enough. If it is USB flash storage, smaller will do. because there will be zero persistent created by default.

  The hard disk hardware kit is necessary to add a second hard drive or ssd.

  Also, I have a Mac Pro 2010 and moved my system from one disk to another. In my case, I moved from 10.7.5 on a drive of 1 GB to 1 Bay for a 512 GB SSD on a map of drive SATA PCIe 2.0 6-Gb/s.

  There are probably several ways to do what you think. However, as I have not used the Apple Migration Assistant personally, I don't think I can answer your question with absolute certainty if it will keep your permissions for music software and so will leave it to someone else who has experience with its use.

  But I can gives you two ways that may be useful: One is if you already want to back up your system using Apple Time Machine drive, you can restore the backup to a new larger drive. The other would be to buy a program to copy such as SuperDuper! ($28) ou Carbon Copy clone ($40) and they can clone your drive system on a new drive. I've built a number of backup copies (10.7.5, 10.8, 10.10) for different purposes (development, experimentation, downsizing to re - purpose a 1 or 2 GB drive for something else...) With a Mac Pro and 4 Bay, you have a lot of flexibility.

  I can't give you a reasonable way to solve this problem, since as you have already noted plot do not snappable plots.

  No problemo.  Don't forget to remove the video driver on board.  You are looking for a large heat sink if you go with a passively cooled GPU.  The 7200GS runs HOT (80 c) with heat sink base (no fan).  Practically all dual DVI out 7xxx, 8xxx and 9xxx will support two monitors.
