435xps hdmi to tv without audio

Dell xps 435 none there HDMI audio only cable pc to tv no audio not thanks dave

Hello

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.

It would be useful that you can answer these questions to help you further.

1 Windows operating system is installed on your system?

2. have you updated the drivers for the computer?

In most scenarios, the problem has been resolved by putting the HDMI audio device as the audio device by default.

Here is a link to the thread where Vaseem Ahmed, technical support engineer has provided steps to solve the problem in Windows 7.

Windows 7 HDMI not sound on television.

I hope this helps to solve the problem.

If you need further assistance, please answer and we will be happy to help you.

    Appliances digital cameras generally provides a way of filming without audio? This would save memory, or is the audio component that is too small to make a difference?

    I own a Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS (IXUS 105 in North America), but I have a sneaking suspicion that the answer (either or not) apply to most digital cameras.

    The PowerShot 3 I've owned audio is automatically included for any normal shooting mode (maybe for ultra-fast frameworks for idle movies that it wasn't). I just watched a few movies taken with SX280 (video with audio MP4 h264) and my 1300IS (Motion JPEG with PCM audio). In 3 movies, I checked that the audio component was only 1-2% of the total size of film.

    Hello

    I tried to decipher what is happening with this issue; It seems to be very environmental. You can try the following:

    (1) delete all files cache and accelerator - CFA, PEK, IMS and files in the folder media Cache (CMPD extension). Do it with closed first, from the Explorer. The location of the file cache may vary if you have changed this preference, but by default are in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common.

    (2) rename your media folder containing files that fail to import.

    (3) open your project 9.0 original once again (not the one previously converted).

    Let us know your results.

  • soundChannel behavior without audio driver

    Hello

    I don't know if it's AS3 or Air forum /FB4 I should ask this:

    I'm testing my application on cell phone look older without audio drivers and the problem is when I want to call the SoundChannel.stop () function. Well I don't know what the problem is, I only managed it draw this line of code that calls stop() and now I don't know what to do because there was no alert error or nothing. Code stops just at the level of this line.

    I don't even know if that's the problem with the audio driver.

    I tried to look in google for answers and I found that the play() function returns NULL when there is no drivers, but found nothing on function stop().

    Edit:

    I have prepared sample application:

    <s:WindowedApplication xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
        xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
        xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" creationComplete="init(event)">
      <mx:Canvas width="500" height="500">
      <mx:Text id="txt"/>
      <s:Button id="btn" label="stop" click="btnClick(event)" bottom="0"/>
      </mx:Canvas>
      <fx:Declarations>

      </fx:Declarations>
      <fx:Script>

      import mx.events.FlexEvent;
      private var snd:Sound = new Sound;
      private var sndCtrl:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel;

      protected function init(event:FlexEvent):void
      {
      snd = new Sound;
      snd.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,sndLoaded);
      var url:URLRequest;
      url = new URLRequest("df1_fi1.wav");
      snd.load(url);

      }

      private function sndLoaded(e:Event):void {
      snd = e.target as Sound;
      sndCtrl = snd.play();
      }

      protected function btnClick(event:MouseEvent):void
      {
      txt.htmlText += "before stop
";
      sndCtrl.stop();
      txt.htmlText += "after stop
";
      }

      </fx:Script>
    </s:WindowedApplication>

    Use any sound in place "df1_fi1.wav", export, install, and lunch this app, then press the button. On the computer with the audio driver, you can see 'before' and 'after' text on screen. On portable unmanned audio, you can see only the text "before".

    OK, I managed to install Flash Builder on this old laptop and debug this application.

    Problem is that soundChannel is null, the system without audio drivers. So every time I run sndCtrl.stop () there is a deviation from a plant object and vacuum system.

    I just need to make exceptions, such as:

    If (sndCtrl) sndCtrl.stop ();

  • G6-1b70us Pavilion. Picture but no sound from the tv when you use HDMI. Worked without problem.

    I have a pavilion g6-1b70us I'm trying to connect my TV with an hdmi cable. I get a picture but no sound. Previously, this worked without problems. When I shoot to the top of my reading of the sound settings, the only options are speakers and the headphones. When I shoot to the top of my devices, the Samsung TV is there, but it is described as a "generic monitor" (thinking it was weird). I have uninstalled and reinstalled my intel graphics driver and IDC audio driver but still no sound through TV. Also, I will mention that in sub control panel > sounds and devices there is a link to the SRS Premium Sound technology. As you can see in the image below, the Samsung device is, but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. Can someone please?

    Well in case anyone is interested I have solved the problem (only took me 12 hours to understand, lol). Apparently, even if the Samsung TV did not appear in the audio options, you can still right click in the empty box and a toggle option will appear.

  • Satellite L500-131, an HDMI output to the audio amplifier

    Hello

    I can't the sound of my Satellite L500-131 HDMI port to my Pioneer amp supposed to be designed to manage these tings...

    Think the problem is in the early stages as I * don't * select "Realtek HDMI output" as default + output + option is not available.
    Playing around, I managed to get to an old Microsoft driver hidden in memory somewhere and could select HDMI output 'default' through the laptop speakers. But ultimately this ddn can't get sound through either, well that the volume to "sound board" control of Vista indicates activity signal (bars during playback of DVD)... :|

    No idea what is the problem? By selecting "Output HDMI" audio output by default seems to be a Solver for everyone, but it's the only option that is not left in me, so frustrating... :|

    Thank you very much for any help provided.

    Hello

    To be honest I often use HDMI connection on my laptop but I never had any problems with this connection. Everything is working properly and even I checked again all works well!

    Anyway, in your case, I'll try reinstalling the audio driver. You can find it on the Toshiba site.

    If you use the HDMI connection, connect the cable first. Then turn on your TV or your amplifier and finally the laptop.
    Check it!

  • HDMI will Dim without VNC connection

    Hello

    I have the following configuration:

    Mini Mac (i5, El Capitan) - HDMI--> B & W Panaroma 2-(HDMI)--> Samsung TV

    I'm mainly Plex Home Theater running on the Mac mini and control everything with a Logitech Harmony Hub via Bluetooth.

    I recently installed at El Capitan from scratch on the Mac mini - for this by adding a mouse and a keyboard.

    Once installed, I made sure the remote screen works fine, detached from the mouse and keyboard and used builtin VNC ("screen sharing") on my Macbook to connect the Mac mini-> works like a charm.

    Now the problem is: as soon as I disconnect my connection VNC, the TV screen (or the HDMI port Mac mini also) will Dim. Only to come back as soon as I have vnc in the Mac mini again.

    I had this work without problems with Yosemite until I've updated / fresh install...

    Any ideas? I searched the internet, but nobody seems to have a similar problem.

    See you soon,.

  • Predator Z35 - without audio

    I had my monitor for about two weeks, and today the audio speakers stopped working.

    The volume is in place in the settings of the monitor as well as Windows. He is selected as the default playback device. DTS is enabled in the settings of the monitor. I am connected via displayport but I also tested audio via HDMI.

    Audio from my PC works fine through my second monitor, the helmet and the home cinema that it is connected to. I deleted all the audio drivers and reinstalled.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I have no doubt I should have tried this much earlier, but I unplugged the monitor from the power and plugged insert it again... problem solved. I feel like a colossal fool right now.

    Difficult to get a card on this computer from HP. Really stripped model, they don't have a lot of product specific information.

    Have you tried to connect the headphones to the headphone jack on the front of the computer? See if you have found all the sounds in the headphones Jack.

    What you call "Speakers USB" is misleading. The USB connection is only energy. The sound signal comes from taking round green mini plug to the back of the computer. You must use a mini cable plug round green your speakers or your monitor if it built in speakes. IT IS THERE NO SOUND FROM THE USB PORT.

    Perhaps you have not connected the audio cable, I described. It is possible that the rear audio input jack is disabled in the control panel. Open Control Panel, click on sound and make sure that the rear audio input jack is not disabled. If this is the case, turn it on.

    I hope this helps.

  • First Pro CC without audio with BlackMagic 9.7.5

    Hello

    I have 2 DeckLink HD Extreme, I just installed the new CC Premiere via my CC and DV 9.7.5 account. Everything went right, but now I have no audio data within the application. In OS x, as in other applications such as QT or FCPX, I can hear the audio, but I noticed a lot of digital clips at random.

    Nor in the first audio CS6 works now! What the hell! I can't work!

    I am in contact with BlackMagic support, but after losing a lot of time, nothing has been resolved.

    I am attaching the screenshots of my configuration (don't mind the buffersize I tried all sizes).

    Any help is really appreciated.

    Also posted this in my original thread, but I wanted to post here as well...

    OK, everyone, I am pleased to announce that, today, I could solve the problem... touch wood.

    I had a very detailed discussion with Charles Van Wink Adobe Wednesday where he could share with me and guide me through the new provision of the preferences pane. He described the differences between the "Audio equipment" tab and the tab 'Read' and when specifically to set the settings on each tab. While we were not able to solve the problem during the phone call, Charles was able to find out about how to troubleshoot better clean in a systematic way.

    According to the results, that I came in today, and how I came to a solution, my final decision on why I have problems for MY particular case is the following. I think it boils down to a difference in the CC related preferences to the Decklink HD Extreme Card versus how CS6 treats the same preferences. I mean, that's it.

    In CS6, I was able to have audio playback through my Decklink Card without any problems whatsoever, regardless of what type of sequence, I did. Often, I would like to "a sequence of the clip" to make my settings of sequence corresponds to the clamp and reading has worked well. If I do this in CC, the Decklink Card does not appear to love him and will not play nice. Even if I chose the appropriate material and playback options, he still would not play audio. But if I actually make a sequence of Blackmagic in CC, reading works suddenly.

    The mad is when I do work and then decide to create a no-blackmagic as a sequence control, reading would also work for this sequence... just not nearly as a reagent.

    So, after all this and weeks of troubleshooting, I decided that CC and Blackmagic really play together better when using Blackmagic sequence presets. I'm sure this isn't news of Adobe or Blackmagic but CS6 did not seem to mind as much. CC, for me at least, seems a little more strict.

    Thanks again for your help,

    Beautiful Leland
