4620 OfficeJet all-in-one: new cartridge wrong 4620 OfficeJet all in one

Hello

I just bought a black ink for my Office Jet 4630 cartige.  I bought a 564 Black XL.  I have intalled cartridge I tried to use my copy function and he shot a very ugly copy.  To subsequent trials, I got essentially a blank sheet of paper.  I went to the store and exchanged it for a different cartridge with result a copy in white.  By the printer, the cartridge is installled. I'm thinking that maybe the other cartridges were low and it was be annoying because despite my wanting a black copy he wanted new cartridges their past all that.  Blank page again.  I went in the application of the printer to my lap top and print a Diagnostic page and where the black would be white.  I then tried to clean the printheads becuse, I've been using the function copy quite a bit lately and prnted another page of diagnosis without change.  How can I fix this problem?

Kind regards.

The document here can help solve the black does not print on your Officejet 4620.

If the troubleshooting steps it do not solve the problem I can suggest that you contact HP, 1-800-HPINVENt if you are in the United States or see here also.  They may be able to help solve the problem, even if the printer is not under warranty.

  • OfficeJet J6450 All in One printer cartridge wrong cartridge, but it is not

I have an Officejet J6450 All in One Printer.  I only use the new HP cartridges (not renovated, manual not refilling).  I installed a 74XL into the printer about a month with expiration of 02/11/2014.  It is still more than 1/2 full and very well printed yesterday.  Today, without apparent reason, the printer is saying that the ink cartridge is not supported by my printer... it is evil.  I tried a reset (3 and the # and when it does not 6 and the #) unplug him and by plugging it in.  I also removed the cartridge and tried both resets and then put it back in and still got the same error message.    I cleaned the print heads with a coffee filter and distilled water and tried the reset with unplugging and plugging back.  That didn't fix it.  Also, I deleted all of the permits from the hard drive and reinstalled the drivers and all updates (which I am automatically in any case, if the printer was already updated yesterday).  That didn't fix it.  I have tried everything and can't get this stupid to work printer.  I spent hours and hours on this.  I put in a new cartridge and it seems to work now, but I don't want to lose more than 1/2 full cartridge with no recourse.  I am a mother of 6 and the ink is very, very expensive, and what happens if this happens again?  Someone at - it ideas?  Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the cartridge has failed, because its guarantee until 2014 I would contact HP telephone support. Can you please let us know how you get on?

  • OfficeJet pro l7480 ink new cartridge does not work

    Hello world

the magenta cartridge from my all-in-one closed his ink, or so it seemed. Even though I replaced this cartridge (shaking he seems to have a lot of ink inside) with a new one, the officejet still tells me to replace the magenta cartridge because it is empty and the printer cannot print. I have always used hp original cartridges.

I'm looking for advice to solve the problem.

    Thank you very much.

Hi Max, thanks for getting back to me.

It is strange that the inks are behaving this way.  If you have already tried new cartridges, the best recommendation I can do would be to contact HP directly. You can use this Web site for information about how to contact HP properly, based on your region: Contact HP worldwide.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 a: printers print only after the new cartridges installed

Whenever I put in new cartridges I have problems with the print head alignment, then it usually printed.  This time, he was sitting with cartridges empty color for awhile and now it does not print at all.  I always use only the new HP cartridges.  It fails the alignment and the blue and yellow and sometimes the magenta show on the sheet alignment.  What is the print heads?  Why would I need to change them whenever I have to add ink cartridges new which makes no sense.  I have never changed them, but they worked very well until I added the new ink.

    Hey @janh1058,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.  I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that e-all-in-one-HP Officejet Pro 8500 a your printer is printing is no longer.  I would like to work with you on this. I have a few suggestions that might restore your printing capabilities.

It could be that the long period of inactivity of dormancy has dried the print head, even if you have made the right choice in leaving the cartridges installed in the printer.  I recommend you try the following basic troubleshooting steps before embarking on a manual print head cleaning more intensive:

    • Click here and clean the printhead automatically via the front panel of the printer, as shown in the second Solution.
    • Repeat three times if you still have print quality issues.
    • Remove and reinsert the cartridges once more with the printer to force the printer to print a different allignment page.
    • This to improve the print quality?

If you use always the same question, I have a few more advanced troubleshooting tips:

Of course check that the cartridge is very savvy.

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910 a: the printer screen is locked on the "new cartridge HP installed.

I tried powering off the printer and reinsert the cartridge several times as suggested. Printer will print from the computer or scan using the computer, but without the homescreen on the printer, you can make a copy or send a fax.

OK by tapping on the screen of the printer does nothing. It should go to the home screen.

The Firmware installed in the printer is LRP1FN1231AR

Just turn off the printer has not solved the problem. I tried severasl times.  I tried a variant and it worked.  I replaced the 2 with the 'old' new ink cartridges. A new message appeared on the screen indicating that the cartridges were more ink.  I then reinstalled the cartridges 'new '. and received a message that "used cartridges have been installed. I then put off the printer using the procedure by the Doc and it worked. After the printer on the home screen appears allowing all features (copy, scan, fax and Apps) to work.  I printed a few pages in color before trying this, so my new cartridges have been used.

  • OfficeJet pro died with installed new cartridges

I just installed a complete set of new cartridges in my officejet pro more than 8600, and less than a week, he died. Troubleshooting with hp support online and the diagnosis is food dead internal; cannot be replaced. Now, I want to know if I can get the printer of the new cartridges that I just installed which cost me over $ 100. I can't have the power to the printer. Any ideas?

I answered my own question while I expected a response from the community. I have removed the screws at the back of the printer and managed to lift open in the rear, enough to get my hand inside and remove the whole print head and cartridges by lifting the white lever.

    There you go.

  • HP Deskjet 812c - CMY new cartridge (HP 23) - yellow does not print (but it is)

Yes, I know... it is a dinasour printer but it has been a workhorse for me since I bought it when it first came out (1998!). I use it often, but she remained loyal.  Judged non HP cartridges, but they are not as good, so PLOPPED down the money for a cartridge HP 23 CMY legitimate again.  Expiration date: December 2013.

I can see the streaks of ink for all 3 colors on the head of nozzle/so that means there are in there, and all the rest print - C M and K, but not of Y. I tried some old cartridges that I forgot to recycle in the hope that I could get some of them out of one of them though but weak , but that no longer works.

I also tried to print from more than one program and Windows 7 generic print test page in the case where there are a few color program setting somewhere that was the cause.  Banned, same result overall. I swab clean the nozzle/head, lined up, even began.  Always without Y.

I wonder itf it's a question of management of system colors, although if there are streaks on copper head of the 23 HP where it meets the surface of the paper, it seems to be working, just do not hit the paper.  Electric prods on the printer which meets the back of the eye of the cartridge clean too.

Maybe it's a cosmic hint to get a new printer, but I live on a fixed income from social security and every penny counts. I paid too just for a new cartridge.

    Suggestions, hosted solutions.
    Thank you.

  • new cartridge do not align

    Officejet 4630 e printer problem.

I had this printer for several years and have changed many times ink cartridges.  Today after installing a new cartridge HP XL 61, printing does not work correctly.  The first line prints ok, the 2nd line is only half printing (veritcally) and so on...

I ran the clean cartridges and align and scan and it still does not print correctly.

It prints very well until I changed the cartridges today.  I took out them and put back them in, computer unplugged and rebooted... everything that I can think of and it still does not work properly.

    Suggestions please.  Thank you.

Hi @Amoscatand welcome to the Forums of HP!

I see that you are having problems with your alignment and print output. I would like to help!

I know you've covered some of these steps already, but I suggest to remove the cartridges and perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.
