• OfficeJet 4630: 4630 Officejet won't print black ink

  My Officejet 4630 is 6 months old. I bought it when my previous HP printer (which was more than 2 years) stopped printing black ink. This printer is doing the same thing. I searched the forums and the internet for a solution, nothing works.

  I just changed the black ink cartridge today because he missed. I put in a geniune, brand new, HP black ink cartridge. Print the page alignment and the black ink was very uneven/faded. I scanned the pagae alignment and it has 'failed '. Printed a new alignment page, no black ink at all on this one. Then of course, the scan which has as well. I went through so many pages of reports to the printer, print quality, printer alignment pages, it's RIDICULOUS. I took the cartridge out and put it again. The printer off, he turned his back. NOTHING WORKS. This printer, which I paid a lot of money for, turns out to be useless!

  I'm NOT going to 'send this home' which seems to be the only solution I've found that I have not yet tried. If there is no solution for this problem that I can do myself so this printer is crap and I don't want that. And if this is really the case, I will never buy an HP product again because this is the SECOND time I had this problem. What is an unreliable product and brand.

  If anyone has a solution for this, I would be acknowledging the entry.

  I have exhausted the alignment and clean the print head options with no fix. However, I found a page on HP (a little hidden and I can not find yet) who said to get out the black cartridge and place the face upward all night. I did that last night, put in this morning and boom, new black ink printing!

  My Office Jet 4500 g510n-z has been working well for months on WIndows 7, but last night it stopped responding just to my computer. Two other laptops in the House couls always not print over the network. I did some troubleshooting today and now I can get to scan from my computer but it still does not print.

  The document appears in the queue for a minute then poster printing before a window error appears and says "this cannot print document." Gee thanks, HP, I didn't know that...

  The Officejet 8625 CAN print double-sided because it does when HP sent an update of new NBC, but when I try to print my file, it offers only two-sided manual.  I don't have time for that.  How can I get it to automatically print double-sided.

  The default value for the installation of the driver may have been that the duplexer is not enabled.  You can activate the duplexer as follows: click Start, devices and printers, click with the right button on the Officejet Pro 8625, the properties of the printer, the parameters of the device, Installable Options. the value of the duplex unit to installed, apply, OK.

  You just this once (unless the driver is reinstalled).

  There is no error message. The screen on the printer actually said 'impression' and the 'clock indicator' was renewable, but nothing was happening. When the operation has been cancelled and another operation selected is the same - no error message and everything seemed to happen normally, but nothing. Checked for paper and and cartridge jams - clear at all.

  Repeated undo operation retry printing a certain number of times and after about the tenth time, no reason apparent, it printed! Check all the other functions - all normal. A overall good wifi connection.

  I have a HP Officejet G85 all-in-one.  HP offers not only drivers or software downloads with Windows 7 support.  They recommend just plug the printer, let Windows 7 recognize it, and the WIA drivers will be installed for the basic functions.  They suggest scan from paint or Windows Fax and Scan.  However, when I try to either, it says that no scanner is connected.  The G85 is recognized as a printer and print very well.  Is there something I need to do to get Windows to detect the scanner as well?  Is it possible that the scanner WIA driver do not settle?  I tried to unplug and plug back in, but still that the printer is detected.  Thanks for any help.

  I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 more and the software in the box was for Window XP or Windows 7, I am running Windows 8.1. I tried to download the drivers from the wensite of HP, but I get an error message saying: the file is corrupted, or when I click on the e button to download nothing happens.

  I followed all steps successfully... but it has not solved the problem! I got instant but exhausted ink cartridges my pocket money I got a large print job. I bought a larger and now have encountered this problem. I installed the 'new' printer according to the instructions, but it is still saying it needs to update and then just does nothing.

  I print architectural drawings on "tabloid - small margin" all the time on this printer without any problems except on the rare occasions a page will not print.  All pages are printed from Adobe Reader.  Work seems to continue to download page in the spooler, the printer makes noise to start and print anything - he does not even feed the paper.  There are no errors reported anywhere.

  Another office on the same network has an Epson 1400 that I use sometimes (but not always): it prints the page very well, every time, from the same computer on the same network.

  I have available for download page, if someone wants to help you determine if this is my system compared to the printer.

  Which is a good new that the printer is not the cause of the problem with the exception that now there are new questions you will need to isolate. It is possible that Adobe or something in the operating system on your computer contributes to this problem. Good luck to try to isolate the cause. You can try to uninstall the printer and then reinstall with the current software of the Web site. This can come back to the question on your computer. I've included a few steps for uninstalling and reinstalling for you to try below. Thanks for being patient while fix us it. Let me know what you find?

  Follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall the printer.

  1. open Control Panel

  2. click on uninstall a program

  3 uninstall Officejet 8500 from the list

  4 restart your computer

  5. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  Thank you very much for this information.  Welcome to the forums.  Have you tried using another browser?  Like, if you use Internet Explorer from now (blue e icon), try Google Chrome or Firefox or vice versa.  So it is rare that you get a problem where you cannot print from the internet it is likely an internet option.  You can go to tools > > Internet Options > > and see what your security settings are defined on (they are maybe too high).

  You can also click on the button "print...". "and see which printer is trying to print or to search for error messages.

  Once again, this is general advice only.  If you would like more information, I have to know the name of the web browser you are using (IE10, Chrome, Firefox, etc.) just so I can give you more details because I'm always happy to help you.

  New printer HP Officejet 8710 put in place.  App printing HP E find printer smoothly on all iPhones and iPads.  Go to e-mail or an app to print - Airprinter cannot be found.  We tried the fact unplugging and plugging printer turning iPads / iPhones and unplug and plug the router.  We have not had any problems with the previous printer and devices with AirPrint.  Everything on the same wifi.  Any suggestions, what I'm missing?   1. Drag your finger to the bottom of the upper part of the screen of the printer, then press the WiFi or Ethernet icon and locate the IP address of the printer. (Or press the gear icon > network > life Network Summary)
  2. From your PC, browse IP of the pritner via your web browser.
  3. Click on the tab at the top of the page .
  4. Click Security, and then click the administrator settings
  5. Under settings for network, make sure that Airpint function is "checked".
  6. Then click apply.

  My digital photo doesn't have a true black black & white or color printing.  The darker areas are green / grey, regardless of the quality of the paper.

  Maybe it's that the black ink is not used at all (the color ink is to 'create' black). To test this, you'll want to print a diagnostic page by:

  Press and hold (power button), press (cancel) button seven
  time, press (curriculum vitae) twice and release (power button).

  My organizers can't 7500 a print in black more...

  Other colors just work, but, even if I changed just to be sure of almost empty with an another 920xl black original, after only the inklevel report page and a copy, the printer stopped printing black... Each source, pc, scanner... I did the cleaning prithead page but nothing, black does not work... Until today, my 7500 has worked perfectly. Should I change the head of printing or wathever?
