  I need to update my firmware before upgrading my ISP to the ADSL2 +. Research on the Linksys website, the latest firmware seems to be 1.01.03, but I understand that 03 is not compatible ADSL2 and it also has a version 1.01.11.  Can someone let me know where I can find it?

  Just for this track myself--bad form, I know, but it should solve this problem for anyone else having the same problem.  I had a conversation of text with "Alan" Linksys who assured me that with version 1.01.03 firmware update my ADSL2 + works OK.  So I'll just wait for that person in the House got urgent business on the internet and then do the deed and hope for the best (I can be waiting for a while... )

  Thanks for the reply but I was able to get the ot to start work. I had the phone screen has changed, and immediately I put in the battery, that I was asked to reload the software I did and tadaaaa... It worked all fine again. I guess that the error had something to do with the material for the screen.

  my Airport Extreme will blink yellow. Airport utility shows a red circle with a white "1" and "Fimware" available update.

  But there is no button to update. I can choose 'Ignore' only.

  We bought 5 of these laptops for our Engineering Department and I was against a tight schedule to get them deployed (the next day). I started working on obtaining a set of installation with the necessary software and then I just want to clone one for the other 5.

  I did a clean install of Windows 10 and installed all the drivers from the HP site. Then I ran Windows updates until everything is up-to-date. I disabled Windows Defender. Now all that remained was update the firmware BIOS, Intel ME and Thunderbolt using the downloaded utilities since the page drivers. The BIOS installed fine, but it's a really weird update process. Due to the beeps and lights blink during his work. There is no progress bar to let you know if she is doing anything. At some point, as the beeping stop but it's still really work. Then he starts and updates another part of the system and so on. Anyway, that everything worked fine. No problem with the update and Windows 10.

  While the lower lid has been opened, I noticed that there are two small LED lights near the SSD. There are supposed to be the diagnostic lights and I found an article in the service manual indicates if one of the LEDs is lit, the motherboard should be replaced. This lights a few seconds after the connection of the power supply for the laptop or by pressing the power button.

  I asked the support agent if they knew why it happened, but they did not know.

  So, I got 4 portable more to work with. I took off the dead laptop SSD and put a charge in a brand new out of the box. Started by and on the desktop Windows 10. This laptop had BIOS v1.03 on this subject so I ran the BIOS updated and rebooted. All right. At this stage I myself asked to perform other upgrades of the firmware or not. I thought that I had a 50/50 chance and I'm the kind of person that simply be whether it was a fluke or if there really was something seriously wrong with the update of the Intel ME firmware. He ran while first instead of love at first sight to date. Update Intel did ME the same thing before, opened a window to order, checked and then flashed... and after a reboot I got another laptop dead.

  At this point, I shook my head and frowned, looking at the HP logo.

  The Intel ME firmware update released on download of HP ZBook Studio G3 section was not compatible with these laptops and caused the laptop no longer starts.   1. make sure that "Update Needed" message persists even after reboot of the device and and re-enumeration of the device by using the utility of Configuration of NOR-USRP.

  2. If the message persists, go to the tab 'Image Updater'.

  Thank you for your comments.  You are absolutely right. I was finishing this work remotely and subsequently discovered that I had given the IP address of a 9200c rather than the IT Department of 9250c.  You're going to want to retry the upgrade today.  My apologies for the confusion.  Murray

• OfficeJet 4635 cancel the firmware update because my ink cartridges are for older versions of the product

  I was happy with my officejet 4635 until I clicked on ok to apply for the HP firmware update. He said that it would improve my printer. I'm furious HP to try and force you to buy their new cartridges with an update of something. I think that whoever came up with this update should be fired.   I was told that there is no way to undo the update of the firmware. HP did send me a few ink cartridges so I could print again, but I am still ticked about the way this has been ensured by HP. They have not told me that my old version cartridges would not more work after updating firmware. I think that it is simply dishonest on part of HP and I am sure that other customers have been captured by this update of the firmware. I am sure it was a HP effort going to force you to use their new cartridges. I'll be very careful on the acceptance of the updates from HP in the future.

  What mean of these messages, is that these "Firmware updates" do not apply to material in your specific computer. The two "Seagate Firmware Updates" are respectively for the hard drives of 250 GB / 320 GB and 500/750 GB hard drives. Your computer comes with a 1 TB hard drive, which is not subject to updates of the firmware. The "PLDS Optical Drive Update" is for another drive to CD/DVD only installed in your computer and also does not apply. There is no further action to take... Do not attempt to install these updates of firmware, because they do not apply to the hardware in your computer.

  Known issues with the recent firmware updated for Officejet Pro 8600 Premium of CLP1CN1150CR to CLP1CN1322CR?

  I created the shortcut on the desktop and have printed the presentation and installation Instructions. The printer is connected locally (via USB) to my PC from main office (where I do the upgrade). And I will follow the instructions to make a break my firewall (KIS2013).

  It looks like a simple process, but flashing firmware & BIOS updates on material/mobos make me always disgusted.

  So I'm just now - inquire in advance - of known issues with this particular update or the update process? Thank you!

  I guess it is "resolved", I advanced and performed the update.

  I pause my AV/Firewall during installation.

  It took about 5 min or less via a USB connection.

  Also, I restarted the computer after being full, like the phone that recommended technical support, even if restarting is NOT listed in the instructions.

  It seems to have been successful.

  P.S. for anyone who needs to do this, please don't forget to read the instructions, in particular the warning to the 8600 a connection to the computer via hard wire (ethernet or USB), no wireless. (I don't know if the update could interrupt or not, or if the printer would be damaged if we tried to do wireless).
