• Apple TV 4th gen: Photo app does just not for me

  Hi all

  I have a brand new Apple TV 4th gen 32 GB. The application Photo (photo stream in particular) does everything just for me.

  Most of the photos is not synchronized (iCloud icon). What is ironic, is that the 'photo stream' will display the last picture took from my iphone.

  It is very annoying because it's the app more interesting to use on a large television screen.

  Could you please share your experience with this application?

  HI I have 4 th from the 3rd generation gen aptv. I mainly use mine for my works of fantastic music as Iam a subscriber of Apple's music, I normally use the photo as a slide show app while the music plays. However I paid extra monthly void exrra I cloud storage for my 10 k photos, I was disappointed initially only heard photo stream photos photo enforcement and not my 10 k photos, which Canberra played on my iMac iPhone and iPad, but since finding that it did not work to my satisfaction, I did the following. I shared my pictures via I share with myself in cloud and spent a lot of s of time to select and put pictures into Albums or Rome Corfu etc. and shared albums now appear on the aptv. My biggest problem now, it's how many photos is repeated on the slideshow, I know there is a possibility of not repeating the pictures but I find if I select that for some reason any he may play 5-7 photos, then come back to the main menu, curiously this also happens if I use my VAC flckr the same thing happens a few times, he plays a round of photos over and over again and then all of a sudden it changed for a new batch. I can only hope Apple will address this issue later with an update, I would like to see the photos on the aptv app as it appears on my iMac phone etc, I asked this to Apple. Aside from that Iam enjoying this very well compared to the older generation, Yes, I bought plane finder app for my phone that I view somes and today I discovered that I can download to the Aptv very happy but still more happy if the patch on the side of the photos of it.

• W10 upgrade will not download because guard being interrupted by w7 (hp) w.update asks to reboot for updates to install

  Whenever I'm trying to start the w10 upgrade it starts downloading but then is interrupted by the w7 (hp), win update asking the computer must be restarted to install updates. Have tried different ways to stop this particular intervene on the settings for w7update but without success

  3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall Norton Internet Security and LiveUpdate (if the list) as well as any what Norton Add ons via Start | Control Panel | Programs: Programs and features.

  4 IMPORTANT! -Online enable WF immediately after the reboot! [Should be automatic, but I want you to check.]

  NB: Now you're "working without a net": do not to ANYTHING else online (e.g., navigation reading E-mail; cat) until you have finished step #7 below!

  5. right click on the file that you saved in # 1 above and select run as administrator to run the Norton utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then reboot again.

  5. right click on the file that you saved in step # 1 b above and select run as administrator to run the McAfee utility.  then reboot again.

  NOTE: do NOT activate or install Norton modules or toolbars (for example, Norton Anti-Phishing) immediately.

  7. manually and repeatedly run LiveUpdate (Norton) until you get a "not more than updated" or similar prompt.

  8. right click on the following link and save the download to your desktop: ie8 - rereg.all.zip [1]

  8 b. right click on the file that you saved in # 8 and select EXTRACT ALL. This will create a new folder in Office also appointed ie8 - rereg.all. The folder contains both scripts below (plus a third that will NOT be).

  Note-online scripts are good for IE9, IE10 & IE11, too.

  9. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the task bar), open the folder created in step # 8 b above & double-click on the file named ie8 - rereg.32on64.cmd to run the script.

  9 b. Repeat this for the file named ie8 - rereg.64on64.cmd then restart.

  10. reset Internet Explorer according to the instructions on this page: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/reset-ie-settings

  Note => for best results, check the option Remove personal settings .

  11 start the Windows Update Troubleshooter from end to end. [2]

  12. restart one last time and then test by launching a manual check of updates & see if all security updates related to date offered (e.g., KB3139929) allows you to install now. Follow all the instructions.

• LR 4 will not identify the 2nd hard disk in the source during import?

  I run 2 hard drives in my PC. A disc is only for programs. And the largest are for photos/music. When I go to import the source the left pane will not recognize the drive B:, C: drive only and he will recognize even my M: drive with is my outside. Im not sure what to do at this point to add the B: drive to the source. Thank you

  It is sometimes useful if you put a "fictitious" picture on a disk via Win Explorer. So, try this first and see if your player appears.

  If this does not help:

  Letter B is not a good choice for a player on a PC. It's because of the ol-old time when drive letters A and B were reserved for the disc x6.25 "(A) and the floppy disk drive (B).

  That's why the first drive in PC today is always named c. (letter)

  And, I don't know maybe that Lr does not recognize the drive letters A and B. So rename your drive B to the D drive.

  Do this in the Windows Control Panel > system and security > administrative tools > computer Nortsk > disk management. In the lower window where it shows your drives, highlight the drive in question and then go > Action > all tasks > change drive letter and path.

  If I open the bookmark sidebar, it is empty. If I use the menu bar, the Favorites are all here. I tried importing from Internet Explorer, but they still do not appear in the sidebar. I also tried restoring but they do not always show in the sidebar. After restoration and import, I see now 3 Favorites but that's all. I am also unable to delete these 3 favorites as 'delete' is gray. Also, if I try to bookmark a page via bookmarks in the menu bar, and I want to choose a different folder, I see 5 items down, whereas before I could choose whether to save the bookmark to a folder existing of my creation that was rained down. Is there a way to fix this?

  Problems with bookmarks and history does not properly can be caused by a corrupted database places.sqlite file.

  You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

• my cd rom will not completely close and when I close it restarts the computer in safe mode. in the technet event log it says the following: IO_ERR_BAD_BLOCK

  Looks like the CD-ROM drive is a failure. Uninstall and reinstall the disc and check if this solves the problem. If the problem persists, you should replace the disk.

  To uninstall the drive from Device Manager:
  a. Click Start, then type devmgmt.msc in the start search box then press ENTER.
  b. right-click on the CD and click on uninstall.
  c. restart the computer.

  It is not supposed to activate Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and so on.
  This is the product key for Windows, and it won't, because it's
  the wrong key for Microsoft Office.

• New remote for Gen 3 apple TV will not pair

  Hello all,.

  I picked up new remote control for my gen 3 Apple TV on the Apple Store.   I followed the instructions by pressing the button MENU and the RIGHT directing on the Apple TV at point-blank range.  The LED on the Apple TV blinked his eyes quickly and nothing.  I don't have the symbol of the instructions says to wait.

  When I press a button on the remote, the LED will blink, indicating the signal, but the Apple TV does not.

  I tried to unplug and re - plug Apple TV

  I tried a hard reset or empty everything and re-updated my Apple TV.

  However, I am always faced with the same problem to have 'white' pages or does not respond to 'Top Charts', 'Categories', 'Search' and 'purchased apps. The only page I can access will be the page 'recommended '.

  Just tried a restore through iTunes. It always behaves the same. I have also this checked the dealer NuBox apple their game demo is having the same problem as well.

  The Photos app on the new Apple TV (4th generation) does not display my photo albums that I see on the Photos app on my iMac and my iPhone. The Photos app appears the flow of my photos, as expected, but does not show me the albums that I've implemented.

  Any of you know if this is a bug or there is a limitation of the current application. I've updated to the latest version of the TV operating system.

  I know that I can see all the photos/pictures using from iTunes home sharing, then using the app for computers on the Apple TV (which works very well for me). It seems strange to me that the Photos app is not it too much because it is the last attempt by Apple to have a single integrated solution for photos on all devices.

  Ideas are much appreciated!

  I have the same problem more than a few pictures selected alums are appearing on my 3rd or 4th get Apple TV.  When I try to run a slide show of photos, only those in the album which is visible from the piece of Apple TV (logic) albums however all play on my MacBook Pro, iPhone or iPad.  Frustrating that *.  Have restarted all devices, switched off homeharing / we updated all devices to current SW.  Any advice?

  You could start with new photos which gives you a good idea for the application and use of cursors to develop. The change of Lightroom is completely non-destructive. All changes are stored in a database (catalog) so your original is never touched. Perhaps you could bring more old photos already on your computer, a file at a time, when you're ready. Use Import > Add.

  To import new photos from a camera or card use Import > copy

  Make sure that the Adobe Creative Cloud option is not listed in the control panel.

  In addition, if present Remove Adobe Creative program cloud (x 86) folder > Adobe.

  Whenever we try to install creative cloud, it creates new folders. So we need to ensure that they are removed.

  Your installed system is bad garbaged by stuff you have installed and used. Start from scratch:

  Install Yosemite or El Capitan, from scratch

  Backup if possible before proceeding.

  1. Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime hold down the command and R buttons until the Apple logo appears. When the Utility Menu appears:
  2. Select utility disc in the Menu Utility, then click the continue button.
  3. When loading disk utility, select the volume (entered into withdrawal, usually Macintosh HD) from the list of devices.
  4. Click Delete in the main window of disk utility. A panel will fall.
  5. Define the type of Format Mac OS extended (journaled).
  6. Click on the apply button, then wait for the done button to activate and click on it.
  7. Quit disk utility and re-enter the Utility Menu.
  8. Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Please check if this happens in a new profile. If it's good, you can later copy the personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings to another separate location of the files/folder. A new profile would default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options and topic: config ) and usually also would be vacuum of Extensions and themes (appearance) in Tools > Add-ons) and their parameters. In addition, a new profile would have no previous stored site data/settings etc. (Tools > clear recent history).
