Everything is sorted by album with the correct application. Apart from its use very light app and listen to music on a daily basis, I was very good the iPod itself.   Thanks for all the suggestions and I did go and try some of them that I had not looked at for a while. I end up buying PowerAmp, it has proved to work best for me. I have a stereo bluetooth headset that has buttons to control the music player and all the controls work. Also have the Zagg wired helmet that has a single button for pause/forward/reverse the song in progress or answer the phone. It was the only one I tested that does all three. PowerAmp is also beginning to where I left off when I plug in the headphones. Then in PA all works better for me.

  Do you have applications in the end task on the Auto List Manager or use a 3rd party Manager tasks that ends the apps?
