5548 PC receive no no LACP PDUs

Hello

I connected two PowerConnect 5548 via 10G interfaces and created a port channel.

But one of the switches is not LACP PDU (it also does not receive LLDP PDU) and therefore the OFFSET has not been established.

Creating a static OFFSET work.

The two switches are also configured.

tengigabitethernet1/0/1 interface
Auto mode channel-group 1
!
interface tengigabitethernet1/0/2
Auto mode channel-group 1
!

Switch1 # show lacp statistics tengigabitethernet 1/0/1
statistics from the LACP TE1/0/1:
LACP Pdus sent: 75
LACP Pdus received: 0

SWITCH2 # show lacp statistics tengigabitethernet 1/0/1
statistics from the LACP TE1/0/1:
LACP Pdus sent: 90
LACP Pdus received: 45

Any tips on how to debug this? What could block the PDU on Switch1?

Thank you.

This version of firmware is out of date, but update cannot resolve this. He backs difficulty questions, so you can still apply. http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/555/DriverDetails/product/PowerConnect-5548?driverId=F01GG&osCode=NAA&FILEID=3317547940&LanguageCode=en&CategoryID=NI

That shows the State Protocol lacp show? Can you try to create a DELAY with ports 1 Gb and see if it'll pass LACP PDU? Have you tried reloading the switch?

  • LACP hash between N3048 and CISCO SG300/SG200 + question Twinax attach direct cable

    Hello

In my network I have deployed two new N3048 with 2 transceivers SPF + and SPF module back + as core switches are connected to other 3 switches from edge of N2048 using optical fiber and I reused my previous CISCO SG300 and SG200 goes to serve the other two boxes of my campus via the spine in copper.

I have 4 copper cable which starts from the hub of the SG300 network and 2 the SG200 brass. I set up to have a redundant connection using 2 + 2 with SG300 and 1 + 1 with SG200 RSTP.

So for the SG300 I re LAG + LACP to have two channels of the N3048s port, but now that a single cable is connected because I don't know what kind of LACP hash mode should I put on N3048 to have a compatible hash between Dell and Cisco switches.

My N3048 have mode 7 (Advanced hash) as default but I guess that cisco models do not understand... so, what mode is the best for LACP work perfectly with small business cisco switches?

I also received my twinax cables to connect my two N3048 via SPF + back modules... conhot can I plug the cables into the slots SPF + (already mounted) without turning off my basic switches?

    Thank you!

    See you soon

Cables can be connected/disconnected, but I don't know if the real module SFP + for the rear of the N3000 is hot plug.

Hosts with VMKernel on 141 VLAN do not join the multicast group.  Then, VMs on these hosts cannot virtual computers ping hosts on the local network VIRTUAL 140, and they can't even ping each other.

Is there a way to check why the hosts on 141 VLAN are joined not successfully?  port-profile on the 1000V configuration of vlan 140 and vlan 141 rising and vmkernel are identical, except for the different numbers vlan.

    Thank you

    Trevor

    Hi Trevor,

Once the quick thing to check would be the config igmp for both VLAN.

where did you configure the interrogator for the vlan 140 and 141?

are there changes in transport VXLAN crossing routers? If so you would need routing multicast enabled.

    Thank you!

Hello, I defined an Interface Port - channel in LACP mode, in a switch Catalyst 3850:

To this port-channel interface, I associate two interfaces:

  • Can I use VDS with LACP to reduce on group SAN iSCSI connections?

I'm trying to reduce the number of iSCSI connections to my EqualLogic storage group. I currently use a standard vSwitch with two ports vmk by server for SAN. Can I use a single vmk with VDS/LACP to reduce my by half by server iSCSI connections and still maintains band bandwidth/redundancy?

I'm quite confident, it will work, but hoped for validation. Please correct me if I'm totally turned off, or if it would be not supported.

My volumes cover several physical devices (20 paths for 7 volumes by iSCSI adapter). Can I assume that with load balancing on an OFFSET of the source and destination hash value, I would get at least some balancing between adapters?

If you have several points of termination targets L2 - 4, Yes. For example an IP address, MAC address, unique ports or. Paths, volumes and devices are not relevant to the LACP.

If I don't choose a LAG, I can't visualize how it would reduce my iSCSI for my storage pool connections. I'm setting targets on my Broadcom cards, the vmk connects through these cards. Is the logic that is smart enough to only connect the active paths on an adapter or another in an OFFSET? I do know that I have make sense more that I might have to play with a SHIFT on a host isolated for a bit and see exactly how it will behave.

The adapters are more exposed. The LAG is a logical interface. Traffic can be sent or received through any physical adapter in the GAL.

Note: I would not use an OFFSET for iSCSI on a vSphere host traffic: seriously, Stop Using Port channels for vSphere storage traffic. Wahl network

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Restart your Mac, then see if these updates appear again.

  • where is the music I received via airdrop on my phone?

Where can I assign music I received via airdrop on my phone?

Have you checked in iMovie? You can't drop music directly in the music app unless it's Apple's music links.

  • has confirmed a refund, have not yet received

I made a purchase on 23/09/16 and received a refund confirmation email 24/09/16. I still have not received my refund. I want to return my $19.99, so how can / should I do?

If the return is a credit card, it might take a few weeks to cross. If your iTunes account (you have logged off and on the account?), it should have appeared now, in this case contact iTunes support once again, including your file number

  • My Marantz receiver no longer appears in the AirPlay mirroring on my iPad.

Before the 10 update iOS, I have audio AirPlay to my Marantz receiver. Now when I select AirPlay Mirroring on my iPad, Marantz AV7701 no longer appears. What gives?

Hello. The old menu AirPlay has been split in two. Mirroring applies only to video devices that can reflect the screen. Normal AirPlay is on the right pane, the new control center. Drag to the left and your receiver should appear in the list.

  • I have FaceTime disabled through restrictions on my daughter's phone.  However, she is still able to make and receive calls FaceTime. If it is limited, how this phenomenon is happening and is there a way to prevent it from happening in the future?

How do you know that she can always use Facetime?

Could she learned/guessed the password restriction?
