6 Lightroom canon 80 d, impossible to import raw photos

What should I do to make Lightroom 6 import the CR2 for my new camera (canon 80 d) photos?

The needs of 80 d LR version 6.5 to work, you will probably need to upgrade to the latest version.

DJ, the version number is in the subject line: 5.7.1. It's weird because this version should support the D5300 very well. My main guess would be a bad player or a bad USB cable.

Eugen, you can try plug the camera directly and download the images like this?

  • Impossible to import RAW Nikon D810 to LR5, IMac user

Just started using a D810 and impossible to import RAW files into LR5. I am a user of the IMac. What I am doing wrong. No update is required, so Adobe said. Can anyone help? Thank you.

With the help of Nikon Transfer is not necessary, but if you are going to use, make sure that you use the latest version of the software. It is a well-known problem that using old versions of Nikon Transfer on new NAVE of new camera models format files will corrupt the NEF files in transit.

I use lightroom 4 and I can't import my photos because their paths contains blackslashes (499)

can yotell me what is it and why its doing this and how can I solve this problemScreen Shot 2015-01-21 at 12.55.03 AM.png

The path contains a backslash. If so, change it.   It would be useful to show the way you want to import from.  You can try to modify the handling setting in the preferences for the second parameter where the backslash is considered to be illegal and is replaced.  Its probably best to simply not use these characters in any case.

  • Canon 80 d will not import raw in lightroom

I just bought the new Canon 80 d after having the work of 5dm 2 and 70 d Canon very well during the import. The new d 80 raw images will not import into lightroom. I get a message saying that the files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom. I did the last update of Lightroom CC and still won't matter. I normally changed to DNG on import, but it won't matter unless the change is. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Lightroom open, click sur-aide > Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.

You should see "version 2015.5" near the top of the "About" box  What do you see?

If you do not see "version 2015.5" then you don't have the latest version.

    The 80 d Canon requires 2015.5 or v6.5

Anthing less won't matter to the D 80. (unless CR2s converted to DNG in the free Adobe DNG Converter)

  • Impossible to import RAW into lightroom more

I have lightroom 3, recently updated on day of mac OS to el capitan, now it won't let me import RAW (it is not yet the import tab in the preferences of more). what Miss me?

    > canon 5 d mark iii. Yes I can not import from another job, all my files are grayed out and won't let me click on it for import, same jpeg

Outside of Lightroom 3 does not not with this device, it is also not compatible with el capitan AFAIK. This is probably why the import screen does not yet work for JPEG files.

  • Impossible to import new photos to the default catalog in LR3, 5

    Hello!

I'm in LR3, 5 on OSx10.5.8 and recently, I lost the ability to import new photos (from hard disk). My default catalog (so far I use only) contains pictures of appx.33k and I can't import to new shots. Yesterday I was shooting tethered camera and everything went well. Today, I wanted to import new files (from disk) and noticed that 'import button' is totally inactive. Dead. I have implemented a new catalog and managed to process the photos today, but when I switch to the previous catalogue the 'import' button is always dead.

    Thoughts? Ideas? Help, please!

    Thank you in advance!

I try to rename/move the preferences file and see if it helps. I see that you have exported the entire catalog as a catalogue. The exported catalog normal behavior?

    Edit:

BTW, your histogram looks funny too!

  • How to import RAW photos in El Capitan

OS X El capitan 10.11 says that he has supported level system for RAW photos, including my camera, a Canon 60 d. When I import I do not see any photos RAW, only JPG Photo Version 1.3 (350.23.0)

    Digital camera RAW 6.18 (828)

Digital Camera Support RAW 6180 (204)

If you shoot JPEG and RAW (something that I can see no sense at all since it wastes a lot of space for no advantage) pictures battery both displaying the JPEG by default - if you want the RAW format, then in the menu image select editing mode use RAW as the original

  • Lightroom 3 will not import raw photo files

I have Lightroom 3 running on an older machine (Windows Vista). I used a Canon EOS Rebel XS camera and recently upgraded to a Canon Rebel EOS T5. I managed to import my Rebel XS raw files in Lightroom, but it won't let me import the raw files of the rebellious T5. I updated Lightroom 3 day, but I simply have to get a new more updated version of Lightroom? If so, which?

Your new device needs at least 5.4 of Lightroom. Adobe sells more Lightroom 5. You can switch to Lightroom 6, or subscribe to the creative cloud, or you can download the free DNG Converter and create DNG copies that you can use with the software you have.

  • Red spots in LR 2.6 watch one imported RAW Photos

I've been a happy user of Lightroom from the beginning, but my allegience it erodes quickly since the upgrade to version 2.6 64 bit.  I noticed immediately that the function of automatic development, which in the past has worked very well and often not required no tweaking from me, just not very good more.  It doesn't seem to do much, it causes the picture to be over-exposed many or I need to change the photo myself.  Another problem is that some photos have huge red spots in some areas, mainly on the white or othe slightly color boxes.  These tasks do not appear on the converted images, but they obviously shouldn't be there when I'm processing in LR and it's very distracting.

Speaking of the conversion to other formats, the only complaint for a long time, I had with LR that I would like to know if there is an option to disable the opening of records to show pictures of converts.  I don't feel as if I have to see every single photo in Windows Explorer every time that I convert it into another format.  I'm perfectly able to open Windows Explorer myself if I want.  What's worse, is that if you ignore it, it opens a new instance of the Explorer for each converted file.

Auto-ton has never worked for me. I would just ignore it. If you know the tools, it's much faster and more reliable for all this by yourself.

Red spots: you probably have the indication burst enabled clipping. In your histogram in the top right, there is a small triangle pointing upward. Click to disable the warning of overexposure. There is a similar indicator for connect the shadows on the upper left of the histogram. Alternatively, you can press 'J' to switch between modes

Your last question is on export, I guess? You never convert anything in Lightroom as you never overwrite the original file. In the export Panel, there is an option on the bottom of the list called "post processing". If you don't want to open Explorer, simply set this 'status quo' and save it as an export of new presets.
