  This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:

  1 conflict between third-party applications.

  2 corrupt system files.

  3 virus.

  Try the steps listed here:

  Method 1:
  I suggest to start the computer using safe mode and check if the problem persists or not. If the issue happen not in Mode without failure, you can set up your computer in a clean boot and check if it helps.

  Step 1:
  Start the computer in Mode safe. At the start of the computer Mode safe with the minimum set of drivers and files.

  I think I solved the problem.

  Problem has been activated "quick start" in the power settings.

  To turn off the quick start, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the start screen
  2. type po drank directly on the start screen (power buttons short for). It will take you directly to the applet "change what the buttons to" in the search results.
  3. Click on the link "Change settings that are currently unavailable" to put at the disposal of the shutdown options.
  4. Uncheck the enable (active)-quick start .
  5. That's all. Now the quick start feature is disabled.

  Now everything works fine, z500 boots each time correctly with the first run.

  The video card drivers enable the features of the card to use.  When in safe mode or with no driver installed only the basic functions of the card are used.  If the card is faulty, which is more likely, the defective part of the map has probably come into play with the full drivers installed.  This explains why it works with the Basic setting.

  Any HARD drive is going to die sooner or later, the HARD drive is not reusable part.
  Read and write data to the HARD disk would cause the head moving in many cases, the disk dies because of the head crash.
  Moving the laptop while the disk is in use would affect the functionality of the HARD drive.

  On my laptop I have a utility called installed HARD disk protection tool.
  HDD Protection detects the vibrations, shocks and similar signs in the PC and the disk head moves automatically to a safe position to reduce the risk of damage that might be caused by the contact of the head-to-disk.

  Advise to use such tool too

  By the way: HARD drive problems have nothing to do with the series of laptop

  I suggest you to check that the windows update history to verify that Windows update may cause the problem.

  (a) click on the "Start" button and select "Control Panel" from the menu that appears.

  (b) double click on "Add or Remove Programs".

  (c) click the checkbox next to 'Show the update' at the top of the window.

  (d) locate the "Windows XP - software updates" header. Below, you will find a list of updates all the date where they have been installed and the installation of the window.

  Provide us update KB number that may cause the closing.

  You can also use the shutdown Event Tracker to stop suddenly.

  Any device storage size you have, 400 MB nothing during the space count. If you have removed pictures and videos, do you have them removed from the recently deleted folder? I suggest make you a backup of your device and that you try to restore the backup. If that does not release your space problem, assuming that you have available space, then I suggest you restore the unit to the factory, and then add your content individually, do not use your backup.

  Since you have done a battery pull I would make sure that the card is firmly connected. Try to remove and then do a battery pull and then after the re-start, insert the card and re - start again.   Suggest you clean boot Vista x 64 . Perform step 1 .
  Once in the clean boot state, run the Fixit here in clicking on the Internet Explorer shortcut and choosing "Run as Administrator" . Enter a password, if one is used, or click on the button continue. :
  How to reset the Windows Update components?

  Then click the Fixit button, click run in the file download dialog box, and follow the steps described in the fix it Wizard. and choose the default option. Restart the system after the tool runs and check if updates are available, and if they install automatically.
  Since it's Patch Tuesday, updates should be available for the system soon, if not today.
  IF no updates installed automatically in the coming days, rerun the Fixit but aggressive use.
  Don't forget to Cancel the clean boot once you have completed the steps running the Fixit.

  Please be patient. If you want to see if updates are available but are regulated, check WindowsUpdate.log: How to read the Windowsupdate.log file
  Scroll down for the latest entries. IF updates are regulated, you will see an entry or entries that are similar to this:
