6009 USB not recognized in MAX

Hello world

I am new to LabView and Renault. I hope I posted this in the right place.

I installed all the software according to the respective guides.
I am running MS Vista SP1 on a Dell XPS laptop.

When I plugged in the acquisition of data USB-6009, he has been recognized by windows correctly. I can see it in Device Manager.

Also, the Green LED will Flash indicating the unit has been initialized.

When I start MAX, the device does not appear in the devices and Interfaces link.

I'm using LabView 2009 SP1 with NOR-DAQmx Device Driver 9.0.2. I started with older drivers.

I tried other USB ports on the laptop, cleaned up the database to the MAX, used a different USB-6009, tried the DAQ diagnostic utility, disabled firewall/antivirus. Nothing seems to solve the problem.

Is it possible to force MAX to detect my device?

All suggestions will be welcome. I thought that I ask here before you uninstall everything and try to reinstall.

Thank you

Hi NeoGenesis,

What could happen is that the device loader NOR and Configuration Manager are not started.  These services play a big role in getting your device appears in MAX and be charged with the appropriate driver.  This article explains how to start these services.  In addition, you can re-associate the driver to the device.  This can be done in the Device Manager by clicking your 6009 and selection updated driver software (using automatic driver search should be good).   Can you try these two steps, and I would like to know what are the results? If your driver is installed and your device is displayed in Device Manager, I'm hopeful that we can get things working for you without a complete installation/uninstallation process.  Thank you!

    Hello

I am doing a lab at school and I downloaded Labview and NOR-DAQmx Device Driver for my computer. Plugged the NI USB-6009 windows 7 begain the new hardware found screen the pilot and said it was working properly. I'm going to MAX and there is not a USB DAQ listed under devices and interfaces. All ideas

    Thank you

Here are a few things to try:

    (A) MAX refresh: either view > Refresh or F5 key

    (B) charger device service is not started: in Windows click Start > Control Panel > administrative tools > Services. Scroll to 'NOR device charger' and make sure that the service is started. You will need to close and reopen the MAX to see your device.

If those who fix it, post on this thread, and we can find a more specific solution.

In addition you should check the support page of USB devices maybe your Win 7 peripheral USB needs drivers

  • cRIO-9025 is not recognized in MAX

I have the cRIO-9025 controller connected directly to the computer, but it is not recognized in MAX.

I tried to manually add the IP address, but that does not work either.

I've disabled most of the virus protection software and added to the exceptions in the firewall for the software OR.

I am running Version MAX 5.0.0f1

    cRIO-9025 with

    • NEITHER 9205

    • NEITHER 9208

    • NEITHER 9214 (x 2)

    • NEITHER 9401

    • NEITHER 9411

    • NEITHER 9485

    • NEITHER 9512

What type of network are you on? Is it a computer University (I'm trying to understand why you can't change the settings of the firewall)? You can add measurement and Automation Explorer as an exception? You can add UDP 44525 as an exception? Another thing you can do to really tell if it is a firewall problem is to try another computer with a different firewall configuration (but with the same driver of RIO) to see if the cRIO is detected it. It looks like, based on my experience that something prevents MAX to communicate to your target. Your cRIO has an IP address? If so have you tried it ping via the command prompt. To get the IP address (of the kind that you can ping), you can use embedded in the cRIO out console.

  • HP LaserJet P1102: USB not recognized during installation of HP LaserJet P1102

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH computer laptop with Windows 7 and when I run the disk I got with the printer on my laptop, that the installation procedure works in what concerns the section "Install printer Software". When you are prompted to turn on the printer and connect the cable USB to the laptop it says 'USB not recognized '.  I tried all 4 slots USB into my laptop but the USB still appears as an unknown device with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle. I searched internet solutions and tried to uninstall the unknown device in Device Manager and restart the installation with the disc, I also tried clicking on the unknown device driver software update but it says the software driver is up to date and still, it shows as an unknown device and is not recognized. I also tried to uninstall the HP software from the disc on my laptop and that reinstall but nothing has worked. I felt for over 2 weeks now and have not been able to use it because of this problem and I really need for University, so I would be very happy if someone could please give me a solution to this problem

    Hi @Janemaguire,

Have you tried another USB cable?

Because the printer is not detected on the Mac, it may be the USB port of the printer.

What happened when you tried to install the printer on Mac?

    Error messages?

What is the model Laserjet P1102w?

    Let me know. Thank you.

  • "Usb not recognized" keeps blinking and endangered

Hello, the notebook of a colleague, she has the message "USB not recognized" that appears for a few seconds, then disappear. Sometimes it will come back repeatedly, sometimes he disappears for long periods of time. When I was reviewing its system, is come/gone several times, disappeared for a few minutes, then flashed again once again.

She uses a laptop HP ProBook 4310 S. It uses two USB ports. One for its wireless mouse and the other to a Kensington Displaylink (allows for laptop > Displaylink > external monitor via the USB port), who worked without interruption throughout my check.

    Any thoughts?

  • Why am I suddenly "USB not recognized, one of the devices USB has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize"

Hi all. If anyone out there in Cyber Land can solve this problem for me so I've personally you will issue an eight-pack of ice-cold beer (or a bottle of wine for the ladies lol)...

I'll try not to waffle too guys, so here's...

Right my PC running Windows XP. I also have itunes installed on my PC (I have an iphone 4). Upward until yesterday my iphone and itunes were working well, (once I plugged my iphone in the itunes USB port recognised that my iphone was plugged and synchronization was fine etc.).

But now when I plug my iphone to PC to sync with itunes, I get a pop up box on the lower right part of the screen that reads... "USB not recognized one of the USB devices has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize."

After visiting about 5 different sites now "Ways to solve this problem", believe it or not, I still have the problem bloody! :(

A site proposed shutdown PC and unplug it from the power supply, then plug it back start-up and back... this as did not work!
The other they say that I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs then restart... it did not work either.
    Tried a system restore
    Tried to reinstall itunes

When I check the names USB in Device Manager, there is one who reads unknown device. I am literally pulling what's left of my hair now. I tried to solve this problem for almost 2 days now and still no joy. That's why no matter what input you guys would be very appreciated. I'm no PC Wizard, so please, don't think you're patronizing me if you break down things step by step for me.

Thank you comrades, cordially, Freddy frustrated. :)

Another said I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs and restart.

Usually, this works... but can be very dangerous, unless you have a PS/2 keyboard.

I also assume that you have tried all other USB ports on the computer. tried a verified USB device (for example, a flash drive) in the USB usually when you plug in your iPhone. and I tried your iPhone in another computer (I know it's rare for an error message Windows really means what he says, but sometimes the material lacks).

Is the charge of the iPhone when it is connected to the USB port (I don't think)?  This happened to me recently, but a reboot fixed it.  I guess that that happened to you.

I guess that you don't see the error messages in Device Manager or you must declare them.

You can uninstall all USB devices that do not exist as follows:

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Enter the following command and press enter

    Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    • Start the Device Manager by typing the following in the same command prompt window

    devmgmt.msc

    • In Device Manager, click the view menu and select "Show hidden devices".
    • You should see a category just after "Non-Plug and Play drivers" named "other devices."  Chances are that there will be a big exclamation yellow mark beside it.  When you expand the "other devices" you should see several non identified "USB devices."  Uninstall all this.
    • Reboot (with the iPhone NOT connected).
  • Device USB not recognized (malfunction)

I went on my external hard drive and an error message came - USB not recognized - device due to a malfunction. I tried switching off all voltage and turn support but still the same voltage. Then I went to print something and the same message came. However, I used my printer today without any problem. I don't know what happened. Advice please? Thank you very much. Aide-de-camp

Hello ~ thanks for the reply.

  • FAT corrupted USB not recognized

    I have problems with my rocket GB 8. This morning, while trying to fix my flash drive I accidently deleted the partition off my rocket. Of course, now I'm reeciving 'Fat corrupted' error on my fuse and USB will not recognize. I've searched high and low. I tried to power it in 20 seconds, put the "rocket" on hold, then press on the< rewind="" button="" (and="" center="" buton)="" while="" connecting="" the="" usb="" and="" i="" still="" receive="" the="" usb="" not="" recognized="" in="" windows="" (xp,="" vista="" &="" 7).="" i="" even="" tried="" using="" my="" wife's="" laptop="" with="" vista="" with="" the="" same="" usb="">

Please tell me I didn't have the toast when I messed up the partition! Help!

Finally, after the persistence, I got the computer to recognize the "rocket". Managed to format to FAT32 via Windows without any problem, then via the "rocket". All is well now.

  • Deviice USB not recognized. Help, please.

So I have this Freecom 500 GB Portable external Hardrive and I have used it for several months now. It worked fine on my laptop and other computers, I'll until recently, when I plug it says: ' "USB device not recognized.". I click on the USB icon and it said: "one of the devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not it." he has never done this before. In addition, there was a 'recommendation' which suggests I 'try to re-connect. If Windows does still not it, replace the device. " So I tried and tried (reconnection) but it's the same thing. USB NOT RECOGNIZED. I tried on the laptop of others and computers and the same thing happened. I have important documents stored on this hard drive... I don't think that the computer is at fault, rather my hardrive, but I'm not sure. What do you think? And are there ways I could solve this problem?

    Hi Elysem,

As you have checked the hard disk on other computers and it gives the same error message that means there is a problem with the hard drive so I suggest you contact the manufacturer of the hard drive to get help.

It turns out that Dell thinks it's a hardware problem.  Theyu replaced the docking last week and that made it better for 3 or 4 days, but now he's back.  They will replace the motherboard this week, so we'll see...

  • 6218 USB NOT recognized

    Hello!

I need help to understand (and perhaps fix ) a problem with a peripheral USB-6218.

In some of our test engine test bed systems, we have NI USB-6218 devices of additional analog inputs.

After a few months of normal activity, when I plug the usb 6218 in a specific computer, it is not recognized correctly, and it no longer works.

In Max, it appears as shown in the attached picture.

    • The computer where is installed the system is a Win7 x 64.
    • Tests were conducted with drivers DAQmx 9.6.2 and 14.0.
    • Different USB cables
    • Different 6218 devices
    • Different computers with the same software installed
    • Another device, like some HD WebCams, work correctly.

Do someone had a similar problem? All reviews are much appreciated

Thank you very much for your help

    Davide Galli

    I almost tried everything...

    The solution was "FORMAT C:"
