  • When released the 64 bit version of Firefox to the main channel?

When released the 64 bit version of Firefox to the main channel? I thought it was supposed to be released when version 39 came out, but I must have been confused.

No version passed was a guarantee of having Win64 for liberation, but more of an opportunity or that there has been speculation that Win64 builds on the beta channel from 37.0b2 build target.

I guess you mean the Win64 (64-bit for Windows) and not on Mac OSX and Linux built which has 64-bit commercial for Firefox 4.0 versions both because easier to do and that it.

If all goes well the Firefox 41.0 will be the first version to have Win64 rests alongside the 32 bit Windows builds.

Win64 version was planned no version of Firefox. Then, on short notice for a brief period of a few weeks before Fx 40.0 version Mozilla thought to Win64 Fx 40.0 release but was changed to 41.0 Fx.

Two things of note for versions of Firefox Win64 starting 41,0 + release. Only 64-bit Flash Player is white listed to run in Firefox Win64. Seconed we need 64-bit Windows 7, 8.x and 10 as the 64-bit Windows XP, Vista and server cannot run Win64 builds from Firefox 37.0 + development relies.

  • 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows

    Hello

I was wondering how to get a 64-bit version of Firefox, for Windows 7. A search on the Internet shows these as being available on a few Web site:
    http://www.windows7download.com/
    http://www.firefox64bit.com/

I guess these are genuine, but I'm confused as to why they are not available on the Mozilla site. I searched on the support forum and found an answer that is one year old (http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/782154), which indicates that a 64-bit version may be available after 12 of Firefox. Unless I am confused about the nomenclature of versioning used, the latest version of Firefox is 24. Are there still not a 64 version, but official Firefox available for Windows?

Thank you and best regards, Ashok

Mozilla is not a version of Firefox 64-bit for Windows operating systems. Mozilla has every evening at the alpha level 64-bit versions for Windows, but currently they are generated to verify that this channel every night, the changes are not broken on 64-bit Windows versions.

There are a few 3rd party 64-built, like Waterfox, but these are not the official versions of Mozilla.

Where can I download 64-bit version of firefox?
    for windows 7.

There is still no official release of Firefox 64-bit (x 64). While we plan to release it in the future, it probably won't be for at least 6 months or more. However, you can use the 32-bit (x 86) version of Firefox on Windows x 64. You can download from www.getfirefox.com.

    Hello
I wonder, is there a 64-bit version of firefox exist? or not?. I Googled it and I get the mine field. But I like more Firefox icon. If there is the 64-bit version of Firefox exists, u write me download address?

    [email protected]
    Thank you.

There is no version of the 64-bit version of Firefox. What you got is mainly people plug-ins test and to make sure that things work when it is available. You wouldn't be able to do much without your plug-ins and have all been rewritten. Although Flash is now provided with 32-bit and 64-bit versions for users with 64-bit Firefox, so it's a major obstacle.

There are two different versions of Flash, ActiveX for IE version and the version of the plugin used by most other browsers.

    1. download the Setup file of Plugin Flash version here:

    Adobe Flash - Plugin version.

    Save it to your desktop.

    2. close Firefox using file > exit

Then check the Task Manager > processes tab to make sure that firefox.exe is closed.

    {XP: Ctrl + Alt + Delete, Vista: Shift + Ctrl + ESC process tab =}

    3. then run the Flash configuration from your desktop file.

    4. run Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

    • On Vista and Windows 7, you may need to run the installer of plugin as administrator by starting the installation program via the context menu if you do not get a UAC prompt for permission to continue (that is to say that nothing seems to be happening).

  • waterfox claims to be a 64-bit version of Firefox. Is it? Is it safe?

I noticed that IE provides a 64-bit version. Looking for a 64-bit version of FF I found Waterfox. He claims that it is a 64-bit version of FF. Is it? Is it safe? Are there plans for a 64-bit version of FF?

Official Windows versions of Firefox are 32-bit. Mozilla has been the creation of test of a 64-bit version of Windows of Firefox versions, but an official release is probably not any time soon. The Mozilla developers also indicate that the 32-bit version is faster than the trial of 64-bit versions and recommend to users, including the testers stick with the 32-bit version.

Waterfox is a 3rd unofficial version of Firefox. If you use a certain plugins will not work because they are only 32 bits, and some extensions (in particular those who have binary components) will not work.

  • Where are the 64-bit versions of Firefox beta 8?

I noticed that Firefox 8 will come out a week, so I wanted to try one of the beta. I heard the advertising a little back on the fact that Firefox 8 will be the first version of 64-bit (Windows). However, there is no 64-bit Installer in any of the beta releases or releases the Aurora. The latest 64-bit build, I can find is http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2011/08/2011-08-15-03-07-38-mozilla-central/. 64-bit support has slipped? I noticed that there are not yet any release of 64-bit Firefox 9 in Aurora.

No, the first 64 bit version would be Firefox 10.0 - but only if a 64-bit version of nightly Aurora next week.

Development built beginning as every night, then move to Aurora, then Beta, then to be a Release. No construction of Aurora and it remains as a night - two versions of the exit.

In an environment Microsoft Windows 64-bit, 64-bit applications are installed in:

    • C:\Program Files\

And all 32-bit applications are installed in:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86).

You should find a folder "Mozilla Firefox" in one of these directories. If it is the x 86 Program Files directory, it is a 32-bit installation of Firefox.

  • Firefox 4 will be a 64-bit version?

    Firefox 4 will be a 64-bit version?

Sorry, but it will not be a 64-bit version of Firefox 4 for Windows. There are nightly builds at http://nightly.mozilla.org. The constructions are not supported, maybe more volatile than the 32-bit version. You will be limited to 64-bit plugins. Some plugins like MS Silverlight have no 64-bit version (so Netflix will not work in 64-bit mode). It is recommended that you use the 32-bit version to http://www.firefox.com/rc.
