64 c error code received when trying to install KB953297

I keep trying to download this update, but I can't do work I put to update from windows XP to Windows Vista Ultimate, and I don't know if this could be the root of the problem or not, I hope someone can help me with this.  Once again (64 c error Code) I get this error code when I download the update from windows update the Sercurity Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB953297).

You can try the steps below and check if the problem is resolved.
 
Step 1: Download Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp utility
1 visit:
  http://download.Microsoft.com/downlo...BD/msicuu2.exe
2. save the file on your computer.
3. right click "msicuu2.exe", click "Run as Administrator" and follow the
Wizard to install this tool on your computer.
 
Step 2: Remove the .NET Framework
1. click on start - all programs - Windows Installer Clean Up, click on allow.
2 see if you can find .net Software Framework. If so, remove them.
 
After that, restart the computer and perform the following steps
suggestions to reinstall .NET framework 1.1 and updates for it.
 
Step 3: Install .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable Package and updates
