  I took a glance at the manual and I can't understand how to print a document from the USB key! When I insert the disc, it will scan only for pictures. Is this normal? Should we not we can also print documents (such as PDF or DOC).

  HP have many printers support this, but not the HP OJ6700. This feature called foot printing (or similar name) which allows users to print documents (only supported formats) without the need for a computer.

  All of a sudden I cannot print I scanned and saved as pdf files.  I get a message indicating that the printer is "Impossible to convert the PostScript file.  Don't know how to handle, but I have to be able to print the docs I'm scanning and saving in pdf format.  Can someone help me?

  I see that you are unable to print the PDF scanned documents with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help.

  You are able to print any other format PDF on the Mac, or the question is just limited to your scanned PDF files? Whether the soft friendly PDF work with - Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader?

  In the meantime, I recommend you try the following steps:

  • Uninstall your printer - click here for instructions.
  • Fix permissions of the disc on your Mac - click here for instructions.
  • Once you have finished running the utility above, restart your computer.
  • Finally, click here to reinstall your printer.

• HP 6700 Premium: problems printing labels

  To print labels on this printer, I place the label stock upside down on the top of the paper in the paper tray. Often (but not always) the printer pulls the label stock, then ejects and prints the labels you want on the sheet of ordinary paper that was immediately under the labels. This happens with a fresh sheet of labels and partially used sheets. The label stock varies depending on the brand and type of label, but all are 8.5 "of 11.0". I prepare labels using templates (usually Avery) in Word 2007 on a PC.

  If you have not done so recently, consider the full functionality for the printer software.

  Read the Description (on the Support Page for driver) and consider installing the update of the Firmware.

  My Officejet 6700 Premium printer is only printing blank pages. I just replaced all the cartridges with HP new ones. The printer is now going through the motions but does not print blank pages. This happens for all what I am trying to print including Diagnostics pages. The printer is a little older a year is not under warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I bought InDesign CS2 and made dozens of forms, brochures, etc. I can't print anything. I have the CD, it asks me to reinstall, I have nothing. I know this is an older program, but I need to print documents. I think that Adobe really could not give support to users who fail to comply with the latest iteration of the product.

  What operating system do you use CS2? It is a very old version that will work on any current computer systems.

• Cannot print document - no selected pages - Adobe Reader XI

  Adobe Reader XI on a machine using Windows 8.1 driving a printer Brother DCP-7055 via a Windows 7 machine connected to the network to print the document of 16 pages booklet.  It was working fine yesterday, but this morning, and no change to the system, so as far as I am aware, I'm unable to print document - No pages selected on the machines of the W8.1 and W7.  Same result, I'm trying to print a pdf of each machine.  The same PDF files print OK using the alternative pdf (Nitropdf) software but I need the booklet format option. All solutions?  All of the suggestions.

  It is a very common problem and you can solve easily by Googling it. Basically, go to Edit - Preferences - (protection) and uncheck "Enable protected at Startup Mode".

• LaserJet 1018 - cannot print documents

  The printer has been connected to my router so it can be shared. He worked like that for a few months, but a few weeks ago, my wife said that she could not print word or pdf from his laptop (Win 7 32). She was able to print a test page so that she could use my computer to print (Win 7 64).

  Now I'm unable to print most of the things on my computer. I removed the router and hooked directly to my computer with no result.

  Now I'm able to print: a test page, a text document.

  I'm unable to print: Word document (2007), Excel file, pdf or Firefox.

  There is no special formatting in Word. I open Word and just type in random letters. I then click on print, printing box, I click 'ok' and the printer immediately spits out a blank page. If I click on the 'Properties' button I get an error message "Word cannot bring up the Properties dialog box because the printer returned an error."

  When I go to print in Excel I get an error immediately "current printer is unavailable. Select another printer. "If I select print preview mode, I get the same error. Once again no particular presentation, just text randomly.

  I tried a few pdf files. I click on print, printing box comes up but when I click on the button to print, nothing happens.

  I am trying to print from FF gives me an error "an unknown error has occurred while printing."

  I have re-downloaded the drivers of HP and reinstalled without change.

  I am at a loss at this time.

  You know that your connection is good because your device manager is refreshing.  This leaves us with a hardware problem on the printer.  It seems that your money would be better spent on a newer model, and then buying spare parts or sending it in for repairs.

  Something that comes out is the fact that you are not able to view the properties of the printer from Word.  This suggests corruption driver, you should be able to see even when the printer is offline.  I wonder if this is the real to display properties from your list of devices and printers too.  If Yes, then it may be a simple driver corruption problem that can always be fixed.

  Before you remove your printer, try to download a few different flavors of the UPD and test them.  You can choose to PCL5, PCL6 and PS, each has its own advantages and peculiarities.  Since you're on Win7x64 you will want to make sure you delete the driver and software and reinstalling.  Which will make sure you are reinstalling a table shave and remove any potential change to the next driver.

  Uninstall printer and remove driver (Win7 x 64):

  1. go in the beginning > Type devices and printers in the search > select from the results

  2. highlight your printer object and right click

  3. choose Remove the instrument

  4 put highlight something else in the list

  5. click on the button of properties of the print in the toolbar Server

  6. Select the tab drivers

  7 highlight the appropriate printer driver

  8. click on remove

  9. check the option remove driver and Driver Package when prompted

  10. click on OK

  The communication seems to be there, but something is wrong with a framework.

  If I could know a little more about the configuration, I can better help you.

  The voice calls and faxes that are received on the same line?

  Is there a voicemail on line service?

  Faxes have a distinctive ring?

  The installation of the printer must recognize the distinctive ring?

  Or if there is no distinctive ring, perhaps the printer is looking for one when it shouldn't.

  Go to the configuration menu, then the Tools submenu.

  Select run fax Test.

• Vista / Office 2007 cannot print documents. Can print from WordPad. All drivers up to date

  Environment: HP HDX X18T - 1200 CTO running Vista Premium 64, Office 2007, brother HT1440 and MG6100 of Canon printers.  Manager device poster printers and ports work.  All the drivers are up to date and I can print the Test Pages. I can stick a WordPad document and print it.  However, when I try to print from Outlook, Office 2007, or a PDF document, the message "No printer installed" or the pop up says "add a printer".  I uninstalled the printer off, unplugged the machine, power and installed printers on the internet without success.   Any suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance for your time.

  Just finished new product, implemented Saturday. Sunday, I tried to copy material double sided and on the screen, it is gone as far as 1 sides face two copies. It has a duplexer at the back of the printer. He also supposed to be automatic.

  Hi, the ADF does not support two-sided documents.

  The duplexer is only used for printing.

  Note: after find you the problem causing the program, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program and also don't forget to put the computer to a normal startup.

  Are they (Samsung & printers) on the same network? Please use Play/Goodle store, search for "HP AiO Printer Remote" and install it on your Samsung. You can also use 'HP ePrint' app to print from your Samsung.

• Cannot print documents correctly

  New HP computer. After starting, noticed the problem. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. Much of the work of stall after a few lines of print. Then, after some time, page will reprint several times or just stay at a standstill before deleting the queue. The only thing that happens in troubleshooting is to change the default printer to the HP 4500 fax. On the print test page, everything looks good.

• OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium: Cannot print envelopes in Hallmark Card Studio

  Another question from the user, this problem has been resolved by printing in draft mode, but I find no way in punch software to print the envelope in draft mode.

  The message error is "paper detected does not match the selected type or paper size.  The size of the envelope that is configured is correct.

  After changing the configuration of Word for envelope printing, I was able to print an envelope #10 in Word but am not able to print an envelope #10 in Hallmark - get the same error message I get when I try to print an envelope of size card - paper does not match the format of paper or type selected.

  No, I attribute a different print driver - I didn't feel not comfortable to do that and didn't want to change something that I might have to cancel.

  What I had to work in a satisfactory manner was to select a paper print size preferably 6 x 8 and select that size in the Hallmark Card Studio.  Then, I moved the address information so that it would print where I wanted 6 x 8 rather than the default location on a page.

  I will mark this as resolved issue.
