700 - 030qe: we couldn't finish the updates

I get the message we could not complete updates, undo changes. I just applied 30 updates, according to HP Support Assistant, and it shows that no update is pending. I don't think it's okay because he showed 10 optional updates and I was not choosing one of them, but they no longer appear in the available updates. My computer is almost 2 years old and if I have to do a system restore, it could take days to get all updates applied. Anyone know what is the problem and what should I do to solve it.

I just checked Windows update again and it shows now 31 updated important and 10 in option so it seems no updates have been applied.

    3. There is an issued for the BIOS in June security update that I ran across here. Which does not appear in the update list. Why would that not replace the other? Can I assume that the October update would include this security update?
