• Cannot associate the copy of the original file

  I have a lot of files that I created by making a copy of the original and modify.  I have the original file with no edit history.  The copy which shows the results of the edition is marked as a missing file and the change history is grayed out. The two files share the same name, except that one is a copy.  Is it possible to add a link to these files?  When I try to look for the missing file, and then point to the original, it says that the file is already linked to a file and cannot be linked to a second file. Any ideas or suggestions would be accepted with gratitude.

  After that, you can 'link' the original and copy via stacking in Lightroom (as long as they are in the same folder)

  There is no need in Lightroom to make copies first before editing. Lightroom editing is completely non-destructive and your original pixels are never changed in the file of the original photo.

  I use a HP ENVY 5530 EPRINTER, printing, scanning, web copy and want to copy something. Its original size, I would like to narrow it down a bit. I went through the settings and made it very well. HOWEVER, where should I go from there in order to print.  When I go to RESIZE and hit done, the small screen displays 1 of 3, and if I come back at the beginning, I'm right where I started from; THE BEGINNING!

  You can try to scan the document/image rather than copy it.

  Once you have scanned, use the printing software to print the scanned document/image to what size you want. Printing options should be much broader than the copy options.

  Yes, you can do this by using the file store provider component. With the component, you can set up the content checking in need to be based on files with Webless type which means that content will be only placed in the directory of the vault and not Weblayout.

• 700 - 215xt envy: graphics issue on want 700-215xt

  My system has developed a problem with the display about 4 weeks ago.  The screen now has a subtle red in white areas and green now for what should be a black background).

  I noticed at the time when the system seemed to be cycling through different display modes;  After like 2 minutes, the display has been disabled, Color, ever since then.   I checked the display on another computer and it is very well (connected through a hdmi cable).  I reconnected it to the ch, and the colors are still at large.

  I'm 1 year in a 2-year warranty support plan.

  You wonder if you have other suggestions for debugging.   I could try the vga output and connect up to the screen and see if that solves nothing.

  Should I open a ticket of warranty with HP?

  Given that your PC is still under warranty, I suggest that you contact HP support.

  HP support number is 800-474-6836 or 800-HPINVENT or online here.

  If your PC has a discreet graphics card, try again reinstalling (remove and replace) it.

  Each path, I took in the support to try Web site and order recovery disks ended in a blank page.

  W8.1 and IE11 ended at white pages.

  Chrome is OK, and I was able to order the disks online.

• How can I copy some object without it being related to the original?

  When I copy a pushbutton to Lookout 5.1 it is linked to the original.  If I change the name of the newly pasted key (or any other property) it changes it and the original object.

  How to create a pasted object that has the same properties as the original without the 2 related?  Or how to break the link?

  If you select a displayed object, then do a copy & paste (ctrl + c ctrl + v, copy & paste in the menu drop-down change or hold down the SHIFT key & drag) you make a copy of the original object.  If you want a new object created, select the display object and press ctrl (not updated) & drag.  Or use Object Explorer when ctrl + c ctrl + v or right click contextual menu to create new objects, but not display.

  If you need a copy of the real, as a hard copy printed for legal purposes, then you might be in trouble. I know that HP sent a copy with each cell. If you no longer have this copy then copy online you found IS the legal copy. HP does not publish of the mass amounts of their documentation on paper. You can tell your credit card company that the copy IS legal online, when you contact HP, HP respects the virtual warraty as legaly binding. Now, I understand that there is any departmants in these credit companies that are used to find any excuse for not paying. If you contact HP and ask for a case manager, you MIGHT be able to get a paper copy, but I don't know about you.

• Smart objects - copy without referencing the Original SO?

  A question from me

  If I copy a raster layer several times for an animation to image, then it makes sense to do than the smart object layer.  What I do, but I'm missing something.  For example, there is a video going around on photo blogs today, a lady in charge by an elk, but missed the guy with the iPhone, so I quickly put together.

  

  The video has been radically challenged in the Department of pixel, so I made the Lady layer one OC and formulated a number of copies.  Same thing with the Elk (from a different source), where I used Puppet Warp to simulate a bucking motion.  In both cases, Free transforming the PW YES, or using copied, caused the original SO layer to reflect the changes.  Not good at all. And it's something that's happened to me before.

  Then a little later, Google I found this old threadand tried his advice to slide SO the layer to the new icon of layer instead of using Ctrl j.  But that's where it weird, because now I could use Ctrl j and PW as before and modify a copied SO layer without affecting the original.

  Someone has a good understanding of why my SOs don't always work in the same way for me?  I guess I should man to the top and RTFM, but I was using what I thought exactly the same workflow in different documents and get different behavior.

  Working with smart objects in Photoshop

  I don't see this problem in PS CC 2015 (Mac) with copy/duplicate methods. Are you sure that you not open the parent (SO) and the transformation (Puppet Warp or free transform) running on the child (content)?

  Application of puppets Warp to a smart object layer apply PW as a dynamic filter that is only attached to this layer (you will see in the layers), and if none of the other layers will be affected by PW. But if you run PW on duplicate content, clicking on a smart object to see the child record, then all layers will be affected.

  Looks like you know what you're doing, but the PW behavior as a dynamic filter is specifically designed for the layer that the smart filter is applied.

  I'm using Oracle 10 g XE. I have a table with 20078 lines. There are so many duplicate rows and I want to keep only one of. So I did a "separate query" with all the columns, but the ID (primary key). I got 11781 lines of this query, which makes sense. I created a copy of the blank from the original table by using the functionalilty of 10 g XE, because I didn't want to create the new table from scratch. I used this "separate query' to insert 11781 lines in the copied table.
  
  Because I need to keep track of the ID in the original table, I made a request to correspond to each ID of the table with the ID of the original table that had the same values of column (except the ID). I tried to create the 1-to-many relationship between the copy and the original paintings.
  
  I surprised when I did get no result (no data found) this query. I played with commenting some columns in the WHERE clause, but the results vary a lot depending on the column that I comment. This request must obtain an accurate result of 20078 lines (the size of the original table). How is that possible? I have found a bug? :-)

  Possibly, you have made a mistake when filling with the SEPARATE application (put data from column 2 in column 1 by mistake for example). Without seeing exactly what you did, it is rather difficult to say.

  For example a simple query, I would look to the error of the user before the Oracle bug error :)

  My problem is that I lost the cd that cme with the computer. I still have the key of Windows XP but I do not have a CD with the operating system.

  Is it possible to get a copy of the original CD supplied with the computer? I have the Toshiba Tools CD.

  The Toshiba product recovery CD can be ordered from the local ASP.

  I recommend you contact the ASP in your country (Portugal) and order this CD.

  As far as I know it s not very expensive!
