  Install the Photosmart software 7520 full functionality on your computer to the printer.

  General instructions to install the printer software

  • Open drivers HP & downloads
  • Enter your printer model information
  • Select your printer in the list of the 'results '.
  • Enter your operating system from the menu drop-down
  • Click NEXT and scroll down
  • Find the category driver - software product installation
  • Select the base driver, e-print, or a full features software
  • Save the *.exe installation package (s) on your computer

  The files will probably save in the "folder"downloads. "

  Next:

  • If it is available, you can download print and scan doctor and / or other programs of the category-utilities

  TIP:

  Install the utilities / tools first. bit installation packages are smaller in size

  • If you have control of "Admin", you can highlight the package and "double-click" to install it, otherwise just right-click, select run as administrator and install.

  NOTES:

  ·  On the bottom half of the main Web page for your printer, you can find useful to help with the installation videos.

  ·  Scroll through the list of videos back until you find the video that best fits your situation.

  ·         If you use a USB connection: download and install the driver software before connecting a USB cable.

  ·         Ethernet: If the printer supports Ethernet, you can connect the printer to the network (and assign the printer an IP address for the router, if you wish).  Once the printer is connected to the network, make sure that the printer is turned on, and then install the printer software.

  • Once the initial installation is complete and functional, don't forget to check and install the relevant updates - check the category - updated

  Start the wizard printer (program for the centre of alternatives):

  Windows key + R (open the command run) >

  Paste this line:

  Opens the Printer Wizard > select "scan a Photo Document or ' > select 'Scan to File."

  At the bottom of the "HP Scan" menu, you'd like to put in place a shortcut customized for your scan options - the shortcut contains the parameters for the analysis you select and then appear at the bottom of the list of available scan options.

  Create Shortcut Wizard for the printer on your desktop:

  • Right click on a clear view of your desktop > new > shortcut
  • Select the location (command) for your new shortcut:

  'C:\Program HP HP Photosmart 7520 7520 Photosmart series.exe series\Bin\HP' - UDCDevicePage to start

  • Type a name for the shortcut, for example, 7520 Assistant

  NOTES:

  -Argument from the beginning at the end of the command line keeps the wizard from the ePrint on your browser Web page.

  Once the new shortcut is created, you can right click on it > properties > change icon

  When you select "Change icon" you might see an error message indicating there is no icon for the shortcut - continue on and select from your personal collection or choose an icon from those provided by the system.

• 5600 all in a single scan do not work

  I searched for days for a fix for my 5600 printer all-in-one so it will start a new search.  I am on OS 10.7.5

  I was told that I need some kind of software fix for the program.  I found one so at least I can print again, but the scanner is not working.  Can you send me a link for the correct update?

  To restore the language, follow these steps:

  1. press Setup.

  2. press 5, then 5 again. This selects the Language value & country.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that you are no longer able to boot your computer after a "event for pets.  I'm happy to help you with this.

  Don't forget to check all of your connections, power cord, power adapter, and maybe try another outlet and a direct connection to wall.  If there is no change then the following test: desktop HP - computer starts not (Windows 10.8)

  How can I scan a document double sided (A4) with the HP Photosmart 7520?

  I prefer to scan directly to e-mail, but I never see the option of detection across a document. With scan-to-mail, but also with the other options (scan of the computer, USB)

  Several reviews that I've read what follows:

  "The Photosmart can print and scan in duplex (two-sided page), but scanning duplex requires two passes.

  But how does it work? I guess that doesn't mean that I have to do two separate analyses (which would not of course double-sided).

  But at no time, I gives me the possibility to transform the document and resume analysis.

  Any ideas on how to use duplex (sort of) scanning with HP 7520?

  The Photosmart 7520 offers the possibility to scan double-sided.

  You scan the front of the printer or the software on the computer? Duplex scanning must be started from the software.

  Scanning both sides of the software on the PC:
  * Open the HP printer Assistant software for the Photosmart 7520
  * Select scan a Document or Photo
  * Select the Document in PDF format (or by e-mail in PDF format)
  * On the side right of the screen is a list of drop-down menus and one of them is the source of the scan
  * Select this option to scan from the automatic document feeder
  * After you select this option, a checkbox will appear under this option to activate Dulpex scanning
  * Set the other options as desired and start the scan

  If you are scanning multiple pages which should be duplex scanning, then the printer will travel the most complete list on one side and then to instruct you on how to reset the pages to scan the remaining sides. The unit requires a method of style "flip and resume" duplex scanning. I hope this helps.

  I have exactly the same problem as the last poster. You guys repaired my 6 month old Pavilion and in doing so, installed a new "BIOS" with the new internet adapter.   On the printer Panel, click the Setup program () button.

  Press the arrow down until Adjustment of Fax base appears on the screen, and then click OK.

  Press the arrow down until the Volume of sounds Fax is displayed on the screen, and then click OK.

  Adjust the Volume as Off, and then click OK to apply the changes.

  I need to be able to scan a document in a single file.  I have a mac with OS X 10.9.2 and the HP scan version 4.4.1.  Help, please!  I resorted to pulling on my netbook ancient to do this, but REALLY don't want to have to do whenever I need to scan a document.  I found an article on this with a mac, but it was for earlier versions of my OS and software.  Thank you!

  Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

  I understand that you are not able to scan to email using your 6520 HP Photosmart e-all-in-one printer.  I would like to help.  I have a few troubleshooting steps that can restore this feature.

  First of all, is your printer connected to your wireless network?

  • From the front of the printer, press the wireless icon -make sure that it displays an IP address indicating that you are connected to your network.  If so, proceed as described below, if you are not connected, click here to learn how to fix.

  Then, are your webservices enabled?

  • Front panel of the printer, press the icon shown in the image below:

  

  • If the printer displays an address [email protected], your Web services are enabled.  If this isn't the case, tap Activate Webservices and press OK to enable automatic updates.

  If you encounter a problem with the activation of the Web services, I recommend that you try to set a manual DNS address for your printer. Often, I find this useful step when working with printing and scanning to E-mail configurations.  It will strengthen the ability of your printer to make a secondary connection with your router.  My friend @PrintApper has asked the steps to set a manual DNS in a post on the Forum - click here to access and scroll down for 'E.      Set a manual IP/DNS server settings of your printer. "

  Once you have enabled Web services, tap the Scan icon to complete your analysis of the configuration of e-mail.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you are getting a server connection error when trying to scan to e-mail. I would like to help.

  There are two ways to go about this. It's either scanning to email app that is having the problem, or the printer it's impossible to connect to Web Services. It is easy to discover this. Tap the ePrint icon located in the upper left corner of the screen printers. If you get a server connection error, try the steps in this post troubleshooting by E - roq. Pro tips: Troubleshooting printing and scanning to Email Issues in e-all-in-one printers

  If you do not get a server connection error, then the problem is with the scanning to email app. To solve this, go to the Web Services menu (icon ePrint) and select settings, then remove Web services. You will return to the main menu/home. Press again the ePrint and enable Web Services. Once activated go to scanning to email App. Setting up scan to email. Send a test.

  I would like to know if these measures worked for you. If they did, it's great! Give us some reinforcements by pressing buttons of solution and laurels, that we will help and others see that we have the answers!

• 7520 photosmart e - all in a single USB Mac connection

  I created my printer yesterday afternoon. It prints very well. It is connected with a USB cable. I don't want to use wireless. It prints very well yesterday. This morning the light blue wireless was done. And, of course, it will not be printed. Again, it is obvious to me that the wireless is problematic. A USB cable must be infallible, right? Yet whenever I send a print order, it says the printer is not connected, although it is.

  I use a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.7.5. I don't want to update the system at the moment.

  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  I see you have some connectivity issues with the wireless and usb connection.

  I have some suggestions that we can try to solve this problem.

  First of all, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a bar/power strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer for example, but it is intended for HP products in general. Please click the link which explains the problems when connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power.

  I see you have some doubts about upgrading the operating system on the Mac.  Just to let you know that you don't have to.  I found a driver package and the software that is your operating system.

  First step, I suggest that we take is to remove the usb cable from the printer and Mac and leave disconnected.

  For a wireless connection, make sure that the printer is between 4' - 20' between the router and the Mac.

  Please click on the following link for instructions on How to reset the printing system.  Once the reset is complete, please click the following link for instructions on how to repair disk permissions.

  Once the first two steps are completed, click on the link for HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer full feature software and drivers - Mac OS X v10.6, v10.7 and v10.8.  The installation will give you wireless or usb connection options.  Please note that you can only use one or the other NOT both.  If you lose a wireless connection, you need to change the driver and software to connect with usb. It won't automatically and this is where you might have problems with the usb connection.
