7520 e-all-in-one black ink does not print
Black ink will not print. Tried to clean it. Replaced by the new cartridge. Other colors are fine. Picture is fine.

You can try to unlock the black cartridge using a cotton swab soaked in hot water.
Turn the printer off by removing the power cable.
Remove the black cartridge & you we see a wire mesh DAB gently with the Q-Tip.
A cleanup operation between attempts.

Just installed a new print 60xl cartridge to replace the one that was being ink. Now the black ink basically does not print. I cleaned the cartridges 4 times and run all Diagnostics pages. The black prints just a small piece of the upper part of the letters on the pages of diagnostics and in grayscale on the test pages.

(1) once will open the support page please select the country in which you are

Adapting the failure message.
Black ink does not print.
I chose clean print head - more than once.
It took several alignings, printer status reports, wiping excess ink and so on.
After a day or more, the HP6500 Officejet 6500 e709n printed ink black.
Just a note:
My color ink cartridges are very low.
I just use black ink.

HP Officejet 6500 ink cartridge 920, Vista - alignment failed, black ink does not print
I went through the diagnostic process because my printer gives me a view of alignment failed and my black ink will not print. It is established that I need to replace the print head. Is it complicated? What should I do when I need the printer/fax every day? I have no time for that computer to be down for a day, and even less for as long as it takes to get the part here and replace it myself. Or worse, if I send to HP to have the work done.
Replacement of the print head is not complicated, it can be done in 5 minutes. Before doing this, you could be sure that the ventilation openings are not connected and you might try to soak the printhead as shown here.

HP deskjet 3520: black ink does not print
My HP deskjet printer that is 2 months warranty, that I recently bought a new HP cartridges for now will not print black (other colors are all very well).
If have spent hours and hours trying to solve this problem, following all the advice on this forum - believe me, I tried to clean the vent system, cleaning of the print head. The really frustrating thing I had just bought new ink for the machine $60 thrown and now my printer does not print. I'm out $60 and I need to buy a new machine very frustrating and this machine is used very little only occasionally to print some checks and a few emails.I promise you that this HP will not be my next choice.

The message here suggests to call HP Support even if your printer is no longer under warranty if the standard troublehsooting steps do not resolve not black not print on your Deskjet 3520.

Black does not print. (All HP inks) Replaced the black head - has still not printing. Tested in an another HPprinter - head works very well.

I understand that you are having problems with the black does not print, you have replaced the printhead to another printer and it prints fine. I want to help you.
I'm assuming that you used the same cartridges in the print head when you try them in another printer, let me know if you didn't like it.
Given that the new printhead works in another unit, it seems that it would be a problem with the hardware with the printer and it would need to be repaired.
I have provided all the documentation for this problem, probably all of the steps have been made previously.

Black ink does not print, message alignment is not
Photosmart HP B210a more - black ink print do not. Put in a new cartridge even if there is still ink in another cartridge. A cleaned, check printing (only the color has shown), align printer has failed.
Called customer support told them after that research problem that he said might need replaced print head. Gave me two phone numbers with an exhibit, waste of time with this option. I wanted to know the cost of replacement to see if it is worth)If you have already performed the steps in troubleshooting in the paper here I would soak the printhead as described in the post here. Note that black does not print, alignment to fail.

P703w all-in-one printer black ink does not print right.
When I print a black and white document, only a few impressions, but it's very light. No words will print at all. I callibrated, cleaned print heads, went out and reinstalled the dell ink cartridges. I don't know what else to do.

White pages or impressions of light can be caused by any of the following reasons:
- Ink cartridges are not installed.
- Ink depleted.
- Failure of the print head.
Here are some steps we can try in this case:
- Reinstall the ink cartridges. If the cartridges do not seem to fit, make sure that the print head is installed and re - install the cartridges again.
- Try using a spare cartridges to reproduce the problem. We would be able to locate it to a cartridge impoverished if the replacement cartridge helps you to print correctly.
- Load plain paper.
- In the printer control panel, press menu .
- Press the arrow keys to scroll to maintenance, and press OK.
- Press the arrows to scroll to print head deep cleaning, then press on OK. Print a cleaning page.
- Press the arrow keys to scroll to align printerand press OK. Print an alignment page.
Note: does not remove the alignment page until printing is complete. - Select a higher print quality in the printer software. To select a better print quality:
- Your document open, click file print.
- The print dialog box opens.
- Click Preferences, Properties, Options, or Setup (depending on the program or operating system).
- The Print Options dialog box opens.
- On the Print Setup tab, select a higher quality setting.
- Reprint the document.
- Make sure that the Firmware is updated to the latest version from the link: http://dell.to/13SF1D7
- Make sure that you have selected the right operating system before you start to download the firmware.
- Print head needs to be removed and the cover must be closed before you upgrade the firmware.
- After the update of the firmware, install the print head and try to print.
- If the steps above do not resolve the problem, you can consider replacing the print head service kit.

Thanks for the reply and the information
I suggest you start as a result of this document for Troubleshooting print quality problems, should be able to help you to get black ink works again. If it isn't, you can also try manually cleaning your print head to make sure there isn't a buildup preventing out black ink.
If the printer still won't print black ink, it is perhaps an accumulation inside the print head or on the beak and to help solve this problem, you can follow the instructions in Bob_Headrick in this post on soak your printhead.
If after these three things, black is not always print, it's a hardware problem with the printer print head and I suggest to call HP Support and inquire about their exchanges of and the trade program.
