7600 with VRF VPN

This seems simple, did not have even a little luck. On c7600s72033-adventerprisek9 - mz.122 - 33.SRC3.bin with 2 Gbps IPSec SPA SPA-IPSEC - 2 G

I am wanting to close the tunnel on a public IP on an interface in loopback in the routing table overall. From there on, the interesting traffic is actually in a VRF on two separate VLANs. This is done with cryptographic cards that the customer is using an ASA. For now, the card encryption is on the VLAN and the crypto engine of the connector inside the control is with the external command on the closure.

Does anyone have any ideas why it throws this error?

Have an example appearance - it is almost exactly what you are looking for.

Loopback is NOT the interface appropriate to apply crypto engine outside.

'outside' identify interface where encrypted packet Cross and (is where we entered AAGR to redirect traffic to the SPA module)-is the first interface of L3 - usually a SVI.

crypto map testtag local-address Vlan3 <--- need to change this to your loopback.

You should not apply any crypto features to loopback - although we do allow crypto to be source from loopback via local-address.

HTH,

M.

(edit: sorry did not pay o behavior close your current config, main thing you need to change, is to apply outside engine crypto in L3 first interface in the global VRF).

    !

    So now for my question:

REALLY should be a route with a match on the other than a default route routing table?

(because it does not work with a route that directs the default route, even when the recursive path pointing to the interface even spefic road made).

is there any other way to do this? because to point the way to 8.8.8.8, means im my tunnels to be available on the availability of a course of 8.0.0.0 in the RIBS.

The example is not perfect because of the connection point to point between two routers, but you can understand what IP address as the gateway.

I suggest also entry of cryptographic cards, the new software. logical interfaces with tunnel protection is the way to go. The problem does not appear here.

  • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager and error with a VPN work

I use my laptop to connect to my VPN working. It has not worked since June 24, 2010. I get a message indicating that the connection to network access device is not found. I also have a problem with the connection manager automatic remote access. I'm trying to launch and get an error code 5, unauthorized. The Auto Connection Manager remote access has something to do with the vpn access problem and if so how can I solve this problem?

Your question of Windows Vista is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the platform of networking on TechNet. Following your question thanks for posting the link below:

  • AnyConnect + possible PSK (pre-shared key) as under with cisco vpn client ikev1 and ikev2

Is it possible to create a VPN Anyconnect of RA with just the name of user and password + pre-shared key (Group) for the connection, as could do for ikev1 with cisco VPN client? I am running 8.4.X ASA code and looks like tunnel-group commands have 8.2.X somewhat change. If you change the group type of the tunnel for remote access, now there is no option for IKEv2 PSK. I'm getting old so I hope that it is not in another complaint curmudgeonly on the loss of functionality. :)

Many small businesses do not want to invest in the PKI. It is usually a pain to deploy, backup, make redundant, etc..

But it would be nice to have a bit more security on VPN other than just the connections of username and password.

If this is not possible, it is possible to configure the Anyconnect customer to IKEv1 with PSK and name at the level of the Group client?

If this is not possible, WTH did cisco end customer VPN cisco as a choice of VPN connection (other than to get more fresh mail of license)?

I really hope that something like this exists still!

    THX,

    WR

    You are welcome

In addition to two factors, you can also do double authentication (ie the two using the user name and password). Each set of credentials can come from a Bank of different identities.

With this scheme, you can can configure a local user name (common) with password on the SAA (think of it as your analog PSK) and the other be the AD user identification information.

  • Problem with Tunnel VPN L2L between 2 ASA´s

    Hi guys,.

I have some problems with my VPN Site to site tunnel between 2 ASA (5520/5505).

I watched a lot of videos on youtube, but I can't find out why the tunnel does not...

Both devices can ping eachothers WAN IP address (outside interfaces), but I don't see any traffic between the 2 sites. It seems that the tunnel is not open to everyone. When i PING from the local to the Remote LAN (which should be an interesting traffic for the tunnel...), the its IKEv1 remains empty...

Am I missing something? I can't understand it more why same phase 1 is not engaged.

You NAT won't. In your config file traffic is NATted initially and then does not match any more crypto ACL. You must move the rule dynamic NAT/PAT until the end of the table on two ASAs NAT:

no nat (INSIDE,OUTSIDE) source dynamic any interface nat (INSIDE,OUTSIDE) after-auto source dynamic any interface

Is the only solution for this problem to create a Pool of Nat with public ip addresses, one to one mapping, or is there another solution with a public IP address (NAT on PAT) possible for this problem?

    Thanks for your replies.

    D.

The problem is that the esp is an IP Protocol, so PAT will not work in this scenario. When the return traffic returns to pix he doesn't know how to get to the inside host. The only way to do this is by adding a static nat (1 to 1 mapping) and create a rule to allow esp. Is what type of vpn client? Microsoft vpn? Cisco vpn? If cisco VPN, perhaps, they can use NAT - T on the vpn that overcomes the question PAT by encapsulating ipsec within UDP packets. You need to talk to the admin VPN and itself it allow.

  • Problem with ping VPN cisco 877

    Hi all!

I have a working VPN between a fortigate and a Cisco.

I have a problem with ping network behind the cisco of the network behind the forti.

When I ping to vlan2 cisco without problem (192.168.252.1) interface, but I can't ping a server in the vlan2 (192.168.252.2) behind the cisco.

However the Cisco I can ping the server. In the forti, I see that ping to the interface vlan2 and server in vlan2 take in the same way, and I can see package.

I post my config could see it it as blocking the ping from 10.41.2.36 to 192.168.252.2 while 192.168.252.1 ping is OK?

    Alex,

    It's your GRE tunnel:

    interface Tunnel0
    IP 2.2.2.1 255.255.255.252
    source of Dialer0 tunnel
    destination of IP_forti tunnel
    myvpn card crypto

You also have routing set by it.

You don't need a GRE tunnel, nor do you need the road to tunnel if you want just IPsec tunnel.

  • Firefox Add - ons in any way interfere with a VPN?

I recently ordered a VPN. Itgood, but has its ups and downs. I asked the same question people VPN Firefox Add-ons. They said that he "may" impede the VPN. Laughing out loud. Nothing says confidence like the word 'power '! It doesn't seem to work perfectly. Here's what I think in very basic terms. The VPN uses encrypted tunnel of . Do Add-ons in fact drag these companies, they block, in the tunnel with the Firefox browser I use? Because the Add-ons are still show the number of companies they are blocked even if I'm in an encrypted tunnel . He looks like the tunnel needs block all businesses before that add-ons a chance to see them. And I have to start all VPN, tunnel, process on my desk before even entering the browser. I know I could start the browser with Add-ons disabled. I don't know if somehow they could work even n or if they work against each other. With or without the Add - ons Firefox remains my main browser! You guys and girls are great! Keep up the good work! Nice day.

Firefox sends the exact same claims, but now, they go through the tunnel.

Don't think that the VPN as a filter, think of it as a carrier.

Instead of thinking of Web sites of your web requests from your home through your internet service provider, websites they will perceive as coming from the location of your VPN service using their internet service provider. If you visit sites that try to guess your location, you should see that they are now guess somewhere completely different. (If the sites stored cookies with your old location, then you probably still will see that.)

With this in mind, it is logical that websites always pull in all the same ads and other things. To prevent that from happening, you will still need the modules.

As to whether they will all work together perfectly, I don't know. Each user creates a unique mix, so there is probably no one in the world who can test it better that you can.

  • Chromebook with Netgear VPN?

Has anyone tried to get their Chromebook with VPN access with a UTM appliance? I have a UTM50. My boss asked if I would like a Chromebook to use for purposes of work when I'm off site and although the Chromebook is relatively cheap, I'd rather check that it works before we buy.

I know that Chrome does support VPN Setup VPN Chrome [Google Support]

    Nobody I know.

I would take any supported VPN that Google has said that it has with a grain of salt.

  • VPN site to Site with restrictions (vpn-filter)

VPN site to site, I installed and it works fine and two site can meet but I question after the vpn enforcement - run under Group Policy

restrict users in the local site for dial-up networking with specific tcp ports, the vpn does not not like after order question «sh l2l vpn-sessiondb»

This works but users can't access something in the remote site

Note > after rising online in ACL at the end with this

US_SITE ip access list allow a whole

    new to works well again

example of a line of Access-List

    US_SITE list extended access permit tcp host 10.68.22.50 host 192.168.10.23 HTTP_HTTPS object-group
    US_SITE list extended access permit tcp host 10.68.22.50 host 192.168.10.24 HTTP_HTTPS object-group

    local network: 10.68.22.50

    remote network: 192.168.10.24

    is that correct or not?

attributes of the strategy group x.x.x.x
    value of VPN-filer US_SITE

    tunnel-group General y.y.y.y
    x.x.x.x by default-group-policy

Note: allowed sysopt active vpn connection

The syntax on ACL that is used as a vpn-filter is different from what is normally expected. These VPN filters is not a direction, it should be noted the traffic we want to allow incoming and outgoing of the VPN in an ACL. The syntax for this is:

    access-list X permit/deny REMOTE-DEFINITION LOCAL-DEFINITION

Example: You want to allow local users to access the RDP on the remote site:

    access-list VPN-ACL permit tcp host 192.168.10.24 eq 3389 10.68.22.0 255.255.255.0
Disadvantage: This is all really confusing, and you can't afford things like Ping in one direction.

For IKEv2 configuration: (example config, you can change to encryption, group,...)

-You must add the declaration of exemption nat (see previous answer).

    -set your encryption domain ACLs:

access-list-TRAFFIC IPSEC allowed extended LOCAL REMOTE - LAN LAN ip

    -Set the Phase 1:

    Crypto ikev2 allow outside
    IKEv2 crypto policy 10
    3des encryption
    the sha md5 integrity
    Group 5
    FRP sha
    second life 86400

    -Set the Phase 2:

    Crypto ipsec ikev2 ipsec IKEV2-PROPOSAL
    Esp aes encryption protocol
    Esp integrity sha-1 protocol

    -set the Group of tunnel

    tunnel-group REMOTE-PUBLIC-IP type ipsec-l2l
    REMOTE-PUBLIC-IP tunnel-group ipsec-attributes
    IKEv2 authentication remote pre-shared-key cisco123

    IKEv2 authentication local pre-shared-key cisco123

    -Define the encryption card

address for correspondence CRYPTOMAP 10 - TRAFFIC IPSEC crypto map
card crypto CRYPTOMAP 10 peer set REMOTE-PUBLIC-IP
card crypto CRYPTOMAP 10 set ipsec ikev2-IKEV2-PROPOSAL
    CRYPTOMAP interface card crypto outside
    crypto isakmp identity address

On your config, you have all these commands but on your VPN config, you mix ikev1 and ikev2. You have also defined political different ikev2. Just do a bit of cleaning and reached agreement on a 1 strategy for the two site (encryption, hash,...)

    Thank you

  • RSA token with Cisco VPN clients

I am currently using the 3.6 Cisco VPN client that connects to a 6.3 (4) version Pix. I want to migrate to token SecurID from RSA to RADIUS authentication. Is this possible with these versions of the software? I could not find information on the client to support the SecureID.

    Roland,

    Yes, it is possible.

Please see the below URL for more information:

    http://rsasecurity.agora.com/rsasecured/guides/imp_pdfs/Cisco_PIX_702_AuthMan61.PDF

Let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

    Arul

  • Need help with native VPN client for Mac to the Configuration of the VPN router RV082

    Guys,

I am trying to set up router RV082 VPN Client with native Mac for my remote access. However, no matter what I did, I'm not able to make works. Can any give me an example of how to set my router RV082 and Mac Book Pro (Mountain Lion)?

    Thank you

Hi Jixian, the native client MAC does not work. The IPSEC VPN client is the same as the 5.x Cisco VPN client is not supported on this device.

Your alternatives are to use PPTP or a 3rd party IPsec client such as ipsecuritas.

    -Tom
