7640 envy: Envy 7640 connected to the network, printer is not found by PC

I have a DSL modem, router ASUS RT-AC88U, HP computer desktop running Windows 10. I used the Setup on the printer and wireless Assistant received the following message "no found problems.» Congratulaltions on the installation of your wireless printer. "Could not connect the PC and the printer. What I am doing wrong?

It worked!  This is the best scan ever. I could never have done it without your help.

I'll be able to connect by ethernet or wireless?

I have problem of network with Win7 pro. When I click on my network folder links to my LAN I geterror 0 x 80070035 the network path was not found.

The network has been set up for 4 months, it includes 3 PC, so far the only problems have been minor, such that the network links, which restart a system endangered has been necessary to update the network and worked.

    Thank you for your comments.

In the search for a solution to my problem of network Win7 Pro, that I've been on all the settings you mentioned before that I posted my question and no problem, everything is as it is necessary to have a comprehensive network and the network was very good except the occasional missing links, which I described in my original post. The only addition to the configuration of PC from the network has been initially implemented has been automatic updates to update from Ms.

The good news is that, as I studied it to the maximum, I found 2 messages in the network forum Win7 which combined provided the solution for my problem with the network.

As I did research on it, I noticed that a lot of people have similar problems of network. I know that there are many reasons of connectivity issues, as well as the solutions are specific problems, but if other users of the network are affected by the problem of multiple card Microsoft 6to4 and local network error 0 x 80070035 that the network path is not found, the solution I found worked for me.

If you want to see more respond to this stream.

  • When you try to access an external drive shared by MAC from Windows, I get an error Code: 0 x 80070035 - the network path was not found

    Original title:

I'm unable to access an external drive that I have connected to a mac on my home network.  I can access all the files on the mac itself, but when I try to connect to the external drive, windows 7 gives the error Code: 0 x 80070035 - the network path was not found.  The external drive is set to share on the Mac, but Windows 7 always gives me error.

Follow the troubleshooting steps in this thread to solve the error 0 x 80070035.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Windows 7 network drive mapping error: "error code: 0 x 80070035 the network path was not found."

I recently started getting an error when you try to access my network drive. Attempt to fix I have also disconnected the drive and tried to reconnect. I get the error: error code: 0 x 80070035 the network path was not found

I am able to map the drive of all the other machines in the hold of the House (Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista).  However, the Windows 7 machine continues to report the error.

I searched the internet for the microsoft Web site and answers and so far nobody seems to have an answer to the problem (and it seems to be a very common problem in Windows 7, based on the number of reports I've met in my search). I'm able to reach the reader through the IP address, but cannot connect in it (continues to re - ask for credentials and I checked the credentials I use are 100% correct).

The only significant event was the address IP changed on the remote disk. What that tells me, is that windows is not updated the name of the drive to the new IP address and confounds seriously on how to get the player passing the correct credentials.

I removed the protection against viruses (a suggestion said it was the cause), but it has no effect. Check my sharing permissions and so many different places that I could, but nothing has changed and all seems OK.

The problem is in Windows 7, but I don't know where all configurations "tricks" are on the (64 bit) OS - has been used for a 32-bit system. Where can I manually fix the DNS or DHCP parameter for the name of the drive?

    SOLUTION

It's a problem with Windows Explorer in Windows 7 do not resolve the computer name target to its IP address. It is not a problem with the firewall or antivirus.

There is a simple workaround solution.  Use the IP address of the target computer, not the computer name.

    (1) find IP address that the computer target is.  It is desirable to give a private static IP address to the target computer, for example, 192.168.1.10, so it does not change.  Use the local windows help when you sit in front of the target computer to do this, if you don't know how.

    (2) when you are sitting in front of the Windows 7 computer, you want to access the target computer, open Windows Explorer and in the address bar type------followed\\192.168.1.10 static address of the target computer, for example, and press enter

If the target computer uses the name of user and password sharing, after a few seconds, you will be prompted credentials.  Enter the same username and password used to log on the target computer when you're sitting in front of it.

The target computer will be added to the list of computer network Windows 7, appearing as an IP address instead of a computer name.  You can access his actions as if it was listed by name instead of the number.

    That's all.

  • Script to add a domain user to the local Administrators group raises the error "the network path is not found."

I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 domain and a Windows XP Pro workstation that has been attached to the domain and then disconnected. I am trying to create a VBS script to add a domain user to the local Administrators group.

I log on my computer as a local administrator and run the following script:

    Dim oNetwork: Set oNetwork = WScript.CreateObject ("WScript.Network")
    StrPC Dim: strPC = oNetwork.ComputerName
    Dim OGroup: Set oGroup = GetObject ("WinNT: / /" & strPC & "/ directors")
Dim OUser: Set oUser = GetObject ("WinNT://domainname/username")
    oGroup.Add (oUser.ADsPath)

This script returns the error "the network path is not found."

However, I am able to go into control panel > user accounts > enter the user name and the domain name > click Next... > choose the administrators of the 'other' group and the user name will be added to the local Admin group.

The same script runs without error if it is launched after logon on the workstation with a domain administrator account.

How can I get my script runs without error, when you are logged into the workstation as a local administrator?

    Best regards, Andy

The code that I used came from here. If the syntax of the Add method is passed to oUser.ADsPAth to "WinNT: / /" & domainname & "/" & username, the script works correctly.

    Therefore, the modified script:

    Dim oNetwork: Set oNetwork = WScript.CreateObject ("WScript.Network")
    StrPC Dim: strPC = oNetwork.ComputerName
    Dim OGroup: Set oGroup = GetObject ("WinNT: / /" & strPC & "/ directors")
    Dim strUser: strUser = "WinNT://domainname/username."
    oGroup.Add strUser

Thanks to Qasim Zaidi to show the code of work here.

    Best regards, Andy

    Hi Sylvie G

Thanks for posting on Microsoft Answers.

Are the same username and password on both systems?
What is the share name you are trying to do on the XP machine?
Let's say that the share name is music, you would get to it by typing \\hyd02\music

Make sure network discovery is enabled on the laptop computer, by default the State network discovery is disabled. If network discovery is off, please take the following steps to turn on.

    (a) click Start.
    (b) click on Control Panel.
    (c) click on network and sharing Center.

Method 2: The question can be caused also by your security program such an antivirus or a firewall of Windows /Defender that can have conflicting parameters as to not not to perform certain tasks. I suggest you temporary disable antivirus and firewall and check the result again. You must activate new security that you was disabled programs.

  • WRT54G will connect to the network but will not connect to internet

Guys, I installed an older Linksys CM100 cable modem and when I did I lost the connection to the internet using the WRT54G Router. I can connect fine net when I go to right fromt the modem cable to the pc. I can use my home network very well. I did a firmware upgrade, does not. I'm losing my mind. It worked fine before the new cable modem. Does make sense to anyone? BTW, I can't connect to the internet via wired or wireless connections and ping www.google.com gives 100% packet loss. Ditto for a ping to 192.168.1.100 (cable modem) when the router is connected.

    Dear God please help me

    -Jacob

Thus, because no one here was able to offer all the help, I called tech support and was very surprised. I was able to get a tech immediately and without going through the 1 million on the phone buttons. The service is in India, but I could communicate well enough with him, even though I usually have people of understanding of handful who speak English as a second language. The issue that I had was that the default IP of the modem cable (192.168.1.100) and ip address of the router (192.168.1.1) were too similar. Apparently, the fact that the 3rd number 1 for both series was the cause of the problem. We changed the IP address of the router to 192.168.5.1, power cycling it and unfortunately it worked.

  • Network Vista and XP - connection to the network printer problem

I try to print to a network printer connected to a vista from a computer xp machine

    Two computers on a network
Vista machine is connected through the ethernet card and has a connected printer
XP machine is via wireless network

Both machines have the same network name "mshome".
Open ports on the firewall and also left Software Firewall

When I print a job, I see it be wound on the info from the printer on both machines, but then, it is automatically deleted.

I am able to access the hard disks from two computers

The printer works this way, when you share a printer between XP and Vista where the printer is connected to Vista, XP will communicate with the printer and its drivers Vista.

So as I suspected it was due from pilots, in your case XP will be offered 64 bit readers which it does not recognize

If we rely on the printer connected to the Vista 64-bit operating system operating system 32-bit, we need to install the additional drivers (especially the XP must be with 32 bits, only 32 bits of the operating system will not show if it's 32-bit or 64-bit)

So in this case, you must right click on the printer on Vista and go to the sharing tab, and then click additional drivers, it will be the operating system and Version to select and you will need to select Windows XP x 86 and install the drivers

Now your Vista will be the 32-bit and 64-bit drivers installed. Now, when you share the printer, when the Contacts XP Vista, Vista has drivers and it will be able to share the printer correctly. Anish
