7900 and inherited on 10.5 CUCM gateway telephone support

My client is the migration of CUCM 7.1.5 until 10.5 CUCM. In my view, that a direct upgrade is possible. They have several 7911, 7941 and 7921 phones running on CUCM 7. They will build on CUCM 10.5? In addition, there voice gateways are 2811 and 3825 routers running IOS ip voice and spservices 124. These inherited gateways are supported in CUCM10.5. They function as gateways H323 and MGCP with SRST 1 gateway. I do need to update their IOS 15

Hi Derek,.

7941 is fully compatible with 10.5 CUCM, 7911/21 can still be used with version 10.5, although there is no minimum firmware recommended for the same. 28XX and 3825 gateways, minimum 15.1 (4) IOS M7 is '' recommended '', no matter what lower firmware also works, but you can't get the other bug fixes and features of the new IOS with new version of cucm.     I'll install 14.3 TMS with TMSXE 3.1.2. Version of Exchange is 2010 SP3. However SX, EX parameters is recorded in CUCM 9.1.1.

    The CUCM will be registered with TMS and therefore end points will also be on the MSDS.

    I can't find anything in the documentation that was told only that, or instead. Anyone know of any issues/warnings with this configuration and maybe any documentation that gives me more details about this particular deployment? Or it will be just like when endpoints are recorded directly to MSDS?

    My concern is that TMSXE may not be able to manage endpoints correctly because they are not directly registered with TMS.
