8.1 Windows password not recognized after updates

After you have installed the Windows 8.1 updates a lot on my new computer, my password does not work more.  Given that I have not yet created a Microsoft account, I can't use this path to get it back. What should I do?

I discovered what caused this problem.  I bought a laptop with the Swiss German keyboard.  However, I use the English version of the operating system and applications.  As one of the first steps after I activated my new laptop HP Envy, I downloaded and installed all the updates of security to Windows 8.1.  These updates changed PC settings for the keyboard, in particular, to the English keyboard.  In addition to the special characters for the German language, the letters Z and there are reversed on the Swiss German keyboard.  My password included the letter Z, which, after updates, was awarded to another key, namely that of Y.  When I typed Y instead of Z, the system unlocked and I could see then in detail how the settings have been changed.  This is unacceptable!  Also, my old laptop, ThinkPad T series, has a Swiss German keyboard and running the English version of Windows XP.  In six years, I have been using this system, I've never known such a problem!  I hope I won't have to change my settings back after each Windows 8.1 update!

    I updated the bios after that I warned the Bios of Toshiba v3.50. The process was done by the utility software of Toshiba and after restarting it has 'password =' on a blank screen and it does not recognize my BIOS password, write not 'certified '.

    I also tried the HARD drive password, but no luck.

    What can I do now?

    Hello

    Before you try to update the BIOS, all passwords must be removed!
    BIOS password can be removed by the authorized service provider available in your country.

    But the unknown HARD disk password can be removed more.
    In such a case the HDD isn't accessible and cannot be used.

    Mate sorry but in my opinion that you only have one chance to get the BIOS password removed. you need the help of ASP.

  • G570 bluetooth not recognized after update to 8.1 windows

    This is a very unusual problem, and I have not found one post on this anywhere!

    First of all my specifications specifications

    Lenovo G570 (reference number: 43345JU)

    i5 - 2410M

    8 GB RAM

    Qualcomm-Atheros AR9285 WLAN

    do not know the brand of bluetooth (for most broadcomm)

    Provided with Win7 Home premium x 64

    The Win7 it came with also had lenovo energy management through which I could toggle the WIFI and bluetooth on and outside. Given that I've never used the bluetooth, I turned it off via Power Mgmt.

    Interestingly, when I was running Win7 I also had this dual boot with Ubuntu. And if my Bluetooth has been disabled through the win7... EM bluetooth wouldn't be recognized in ubuntu and there was no way to turn it back on... I had to start again under win7 and turn it on via EM and start in ubuntu.

    Recently, I updated to Win8.1 but had not put on the bluetooth before doing so. In Win8.1 bluetooth device is not recognized everywhere... no PC settings (metro UI), not even in Device Manager. I tried to install the energy management to 8.1 from the support site, but he was extremely buggy and found no option to activate bluetooth. The old EM has not installed correctly in comaptibilty mode.

    In ubuntu now (dual boot with win8.1) its still the same. Bluetooth not regonised just like before.

    I can't go back to win7 now. There is no correct EM to win8.1. There is no option in the BIOS about bluetooth.

    How can I activate the bluetooth adapter? ANY help is appreciated...

    Hi neokenchi,

    Please help out me. Yes, I had tried to install win7 EM but trotted in compatibility problems. But now started digging through the forums and found a link to EM that works on win 8 and 8.1 of victory. It has even installed the power controller driver virtual lenovo APCI.

  • Windows does not load after update

    I just installed windows vista on my calculation, after that I return it. I had to reinstall windows and every time I do the windows update it restarts and when it turns back all that I get is a black screen with nothing load on this subject?

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
  • Windows does not start after update, but starts in safe mode
    last night my laptop set to day, I turned it off and when I started today he went straight to the safe mode selection screen. I chose to start in normal mode where it just went to blue screen, just a flash so I couldn't read what is on it and then restarted itself. I then chose safe mode with network boot and he finished making the update without problem, so I rebooted and tried to start up normally, but still it restarted itself, so I went back to safe mode which is what Im use it as today.
    as far as I know that it does not crush power or coward during the update and cannot think it's updating itself that causes the problem. Ive tried to do a system restore but it says theres no restore to restore points.
    Can someone please help me because running in safe mode is maddening as theres no graphics driver and the resolution is horrible.
    Thanks in advance
  • Pavilion p6210t: CD/DVD HP Pavilion p6210t drive is not recognized after upgrade Windows 10
    HP Pavilion p6210t DVD/CD drive is not recognized after the upgrade to Windows.  DVD/CD material is: LightScribe16XmaxDVD + / R/RWSuperMultidrv.  I can't find an updated driver for this device, download and install. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
    Thank you for your response.  I can't find somewhere - it now despite a lot of research - I read on a very simple solution to this problem which is (was) affecting hundreds of users HP.  In essence, the solution said that the DVD drive has in fact been recognized [as evidenced by his appearance in the BIOS] but has been "identified" and how to fix this problem was to go into the DEVICE MANAGER and delete the incorrect identification reference - then restart the computer and Windows 10 would correctly identify the DVD player and correctly in the DEVICE MANAGER list.  I decided to try this simple fix before one of the more complex solutions that were offered.  The simple solutioon worked!
  • Windows login password not recognized
    Original title: sign the password not recognized.  Similar problems are are produced.
    Already happened.  Tried to sing in password rejected.  It's the same thing and I him have not changed for a long time.
    Log on to another administrator user account and change your password to something that you will remember. Then search for malicious software because these things do not happen by themselves. Or think about who else has access to your computer and may have changed your password without your knowledge.
    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware
    If you have another administrative user (see Configuring user recommended at the end of this post) and then you have to activate the built-in Administrator, and then change the password of your user account. All this requires a certain level of computer skills. You know better and that take the machine to a competent local computer tech (not a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad place) is the best solution for you.
    If you have a Windows 7 DVD installation (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:
    NET user administrator / Active: Yes [press Enter]
    NET user [insert here the name of your user account] [insert the new password of user as 1234 here] [press Enter]
    [Note: do not enter the brackets!]
    Remove the installation DVD and restart the computer. Now, you will be able to connect to your user account by using the password that you set; for example, 1234.
    If you do not have a Windows 7 installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair the system Windows 7 (not a system recovery!) in the menu diagnosis. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode. Get to this menu by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. If you do not have this option, you can make a bootable DVD of Windows 7 repair of the file on this link:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2009/Windows-7-system-repair-discs/
    Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent asmuTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. If you create the bootable DVD in an older operating system (XP, Vista), you will need to use third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com ) to burn the image .iso image file, not in the form of data. Windows 7 can burn the .isos natively.
    Once you have fixed things, log on to the additional administrative account you will be made by the suggestions below and disable the administrator account integrated yet for security reasons:
    Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
    When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:
    NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]
    Exit the command prompt.
    General recommendations for creating users in Windows 7:
    You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. Like XP, Vista and all the other modern operating systems, Windows 7 is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.
    In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges in Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.
    The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.
    If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:
    Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
    Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC
    Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).
