8 Internet Explorer

I recently downloaded all windows updates have been sent to me. Now, I have big problems with my internet and slow connection on all the rest. My internet constantly gives me a respone, stating that he does not.

This is what was sent to me:
EricLaw IEInternals - a peek at Internet Explorer from inside. -Understanding DEP/NX
http://blogs.msdn.com/ieinternals/archive/2009/10/10/understanding-data-execution-prevention-crashes-in-IE8.aspx

The problem might actually be an add-on or another program to the origin of the problem and you should check that
1st.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER on it
machines, including those that you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

Start - all programs - Accessores - system tools - IE with no Addons - does this work better?

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - reset all Zones by default level - apply / OK

not better?

Close IE and try again IE or IE with no Addons

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install
"(and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again)." Search for other possible problems.

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right. Permit
are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program to ask about it here.

Could be that a BHO - BHOremover - free - standalone program, needs no installation, download and run - not all
are bad, but some can cause your question. (Toolbars are BHO)

Startup programs

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and it would be
unusual with Prevx market except for an occasional cookie of low level (not a big deal), update it, then
run as a scanner.

http://www.Malwarebytes.org/

I would add prevx so.

Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.

PCmag - Prevx - Editor's choice

Do yourself a big favor and work through 1 above.

How control DEP but I don't recommend turning it off and certainly not to let power off.

How to enable or disable DEP in Vista

====================================

If nothing else works you can try this however I would use as a last resort.

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced Options - Security Section - clear the check box enable memory Protection to mitigate
Online - APPLY - OK attacks close and restart IE

I hope this helps.

Rob - bicycle - Mark Twain said it is good.

If you decide to try one last thing, here are a few general tips:

When you have a problem with a particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clear your browser cache and delete your cookies for the site.

    (1) delete the Cache of Firefox

See: How to clear the cache of Firefox. If you have a large hard drive, this may take a few minutes.

    (2) remove the cookies from the site (waiting for work save first). While displaying a page on the site, try either:

    • Right click and select View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies".
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > 'view the Cookies '.
    • Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > additional information > "View Cookies".

In the dialog box that opens, you can delete cookies from the site individually.

  • Why can I not connect to the Intranet United when I can do it in Internet explore

In the past, I have had no problems to connect to the intranet of the secure site. Now, after that I updated Firefox I get a message indicating that a security problem.
When I go on Internet Explorer, I have no problem connecting to the intranet site for United.

Does the error 'weak Diffie-Hellman ephemeral key? Someone else mentioned get a few weeks on an employee United Web site.

If this is the error you get, the server attempts to use an obsolete encryption encryption algorithm that is vulnerable to the attack of the impasse that was in the news earlier this year.

    What does that mean?

Even if you trust the server, a "dead end" attack compromised the security of your individual connection on the server, a lowering of the protection normally provided by SSL to a level that is easily cracked and read by others on the network. This is why Firefox protects you to establish this connection.

    What can you do now?

The best solution is to update the server. Please ask for the protection of everyone! However, I suspect this is out of your control and could not happen soon. To work around the problem, you can try to disable these old ciphers in your Firefox, which I hope it will force the server to try some more secure encryption algorithms when connecting with you. Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste dhe and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_128_sha to true to false (disable Firefox to use this encryption)

    (4) double click on the security.ssl3.dhe_rsa_aes_256_sha preference from true to false (disable Firefox to use this encryption)

Try again the server; You may need to reload the page using Ctrl + Shift + r to ignore information in cache.

    Success?
