8007065B Windows Update will not install language packs

In the past, I have installed language packs. It has been long since I tried, or needed to. Recently I tried to install the Japanese language pack, only to get the error of 8007065B, which I have found no solution for.

I tried to manually install the language pack download Windows Update, and I said that it's incompatible. The same goes for any language pack.

I think I can have interrupted an update a long time there, which gives a language pack partially down, or something similar. I don't remember very well, however. Maybe some file system has been damaged which causes all of the language packs seem incompatible?

However, I am at my wits end here. I have no real understanding of what may be the problem.

Hi Imrinfected,

1. which edition of Windows is installed on the computer?
2. do you have any security software installed on the system?

This problem occurs if a previous Windows Update process did not cause the computer to be in a corrupted state. This prevents the installation of any language pack.

Step 1: Check if the Japanese language pack is listed, if so, then remove
a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
b. in the Control Panel, click clock, language, and region, click on regional and Language Options and then click on Change display language.
c. on the keyboard and languages tab, click install/uninstall languages under display language. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
d. in choosing to install or remove languages, click on remove languages.
e. under Select the languages that you want to delete, select the language that you want to remove, and then click Next.
f. click on the language you want to remove and then click on remove.
g. restart the computer and try to install the package of language manually in safe mode.
If you are using Vista, so check out http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942903/

I hope this helps.

  • Windows Update will not install the hotfix on Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 KB3122648

    Hello

I tried several times to install "MS16-019: Description of the update of security for .NET Framework 3.5.1 in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1" on a Windows Server 2008 R2, running Service Pack 1

Windows Update has always ends with 'Failure' / has encountered an unknown error. Code 80073712

The convenience store has not solved it either.

The server is not really exposed to 'outside' as such, runs in a local network, regular, small; but sometimes, a web browser may be in use.

Is there anything that can / should be done here to remedy the failure of the installation? Or free time and even not to worry about this?

It would be great to have a few strong indications here. Thank you!

  • Windows Update will not install KB2833941. Says: error 0 x 643

XP-3 running.  My update and all items have been uploaded, but KB2833941 will not be installed.  Tried several times.  Tried the solutions all available, including Mr. Fixit.

I have 1 remaining Windoz computer and my solution to this problem is just to skip the installation.

I love these problems that take hours to solve - Bill Gates and Microsoft settle a product buggy and people just keep buying it.

It reminds me why I converted the personal activities of Macs 18 months ago and save over $1,500 a month in costs of tech (haven't needed constant visits IT people) and the constant maintenance (5 minutes per week on each Mac) and 15 minutes at the end of the month.

  • The 3rd part of a windows update will not install. What can I do?

Hi there Microsoft overlords. I was wondering if you could help me. I've seen a similar thread on the final update not install it, but I don't know enough about variables in order to know if it is a minor or major problem and how to fix it. Any help woul be appreciated.

I am running Windows Vista on a Toshiba Sataleite Pro 2010. I ran two FULL virus scans last night, with Avast free protection and another with Windows Essentials I think. Windows has found a number of serious threats that I hit the function apply on. Then I did a scan with Avast.

Then after I finished the second virus with Avast scan, the laptop began something strange. The screen went black shortly after it (not immediately think"I") and he began to make a safe-mode-esque all programs, including the documents and my downloads of loading. He said it was a bookkit or a rootkit or something similar. I don't quite remember.

In any case, I leave this list of command of rootkit series go on a little I don't know initially, he said "I want to check all the files of rootkit or bookkit for security", yet once I do not what that.

I let happen to 7% completed which took between 30 minutes and an hour to reach. I then press ESC to cancel the process which he allowed me to do.

After that, the pc began to restart dozens of times trying to reinstall a 3rd update of windows (which remains at zero percent).

If it's any help I had a windows update for last night. I had to have one, but I postponed it for a few hours.

Also, I think that the laptop can (MAY I'm not sure) ran out of power last night to stop.

I think I let him run out of power because he was stupid before you stop, even if I can't be sure.

Thanks for any help, if you need more information do not hesitate to answer.

p.s. I tried to go to SafeMode to start again, but now it is useful. Safe mode programs load then IMMEDIATELY (until I can get to s a start menu or anything like that), she goes in this cycle to shutdown/reboot/update.

    Thank you. Helllp me :-)

My apologies. I don't know much on the PC at all and I couldn't remember what I had done or read yesterday evening.

Fortunately, my laptop is now fixed. I had nothing too precious that I had not already supported so my brother reinstalled windows on it again and it is fine now.

Thanks for the help. Soon :)
