8164F MIB

Anyone know where I can download switches for PowerConnect 8164F mib files?

I want to be able to monitor the Boolean parameters in our monitoring system (PRTG), but I need for this mib.

The MIB can be found in the download for the firmware.

  • How to find the missing file ' accserv. MIB'

I tried to dwnld components from a cd, I was not able to file "accserv.mib is not found. How can I find file, or I can reinstall it.

    Hi Ms. Bestes,

Given the name of file, I am assuming you are using XP (and it will be moved here).  If this isn't the case, please post to the system recovery and the theme of the repair in the Windows Forum appropriate to your operating system.

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt.  Type sfc/scannow and enter, preferably with your installation disc in the CD drive, which should find and fix the file, if it is actually absent.

Another option, a little more extreme, but also more likely to work, is to try a 'repair installation' using the actual installation disc.  See: http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    P. S.

    On the computer itself:

It must usually be or can be found here: C:\Windows\System32\accserv.mib

It can sometimes be found here if it is not there (or even if it is there): C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386\accserv.mib

  • MIB or possible SNMP OID on a LaserJet 4350

    Hello

I'm just checking my LaserJet 4350 Printer for printing dimensions, where the names, and State and so on. I can connect to SNMP and can get some OIDS with values they are, but I can't read because I can't find the specific MIB for this printer. I have an a 4050 and 4500 but most of them OID does not work!

Where can I find this MIB?

    Thanks a lot!

You should maybe contact HP and ask them if there is a better MIB document for your printer model.  Talking about them that you need assistance, analyzing the MIB for your printer.  First level technicians will not be able to help you, but they should be able to talk to an engineer who knows with certainty and relay the right information.

Most of the time I get to play and try out different ideas until I can isolate the correct OID.  I have not really digging into this area often enough to be effective at home.  See if you can hit some of the top level OID and then go in a deeper level at a time until you reach your destination.

  • HP LaserJet 400 ColorMFP M475D: Where I found the Documentation MIB?

    Hello!

I'm trying to monitor a printer, a HP LaserJet 400 ColorMFP M475D and to move forward with what I need device MIB. Thus, the HP Forum help me with this information in the last month in this thread.

But, MIB has a lot of information and I don't know what they mean. This type of file have a documentation? I just found the MIB repository, but they documentation I don't know.

Could someone answer if it have a documentation?

    Thank you!

The format of MIB data (for printers and other devices) follow a set of standards that is not defined by HP.

A basic description of the MIBs print shops can be found in this document RFC 3085.

It is not easy to read (don't expect any specification document to be).

There are probably many applications available to help interpret the MIBs and how to use them with SNMP functions.

It is not something I know a lot of things, so I can't recommend specific applications.

  • MIB (SNMP) library as vWorkspace 8.5 and 8.0 MR1

    Hi all

I'm looking for MIB library to monitor a vWorkspace Envrionement 8.5 and 8.0 MR1 with PRTG monitoring software.

I already searched inside a foglight installation, but this very difficult, causing thousands of MIB

Are there recommendations or with the case of information (MIB) files.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me

    Kind regards

    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

We do not have the MIB files specifically for vWorkspace environments because I believe that we do not support SNMP.

What exactly you were trying to monitor? The built-in Diagnostics monitoring vWorkspace & who uses WinRM (or WMI) should give you everything you need to monitor your environment vWorkspace. He oversees infrastructure vWorkspace (hypervisors, VDI VMs, RDSH and from 8.6 RDL and WSM), user session and applications performance and also allows you to establish a correlation between the performance of the system with the user sessions and the ecosystem integer vWorkspace.

If you only want to use PRTG monitoring, I don't know how it works unfortunately. Do Paessler / PRTG have best practices on how to integrate with existing management platforms (other than SNMP MIB files)?

    Thank you
