8250 incorrect "date of expiration" and "Empty cartridge" message. Ink replaced but still the message.
I got the expired cartridge message on my Photosmart 8250 for a year or two, for 2 cartridges, even if the cartridges were of the date. Remove one of the offending cartridges and replace immediately seem to do the sorting. Problem is one of the "expired" cartridges, Magenta, has finally shown as empty and reinstated. I get now both the message expired and the empty cartridge (for all new Magenta). The watch also still message has expired for the cartridge else I have to say is now quite old, but still has a lot of ink in it.
I gritted my teeth and to purchase 2 cartridges of spare yesterday, one to replace the old "expired" clear cyan and the other to replace magenta of replacement. The clear cyan expired message disappeared but the message re magenta is still show it as being expired, even if the dates printed on the two new magenta cartridges is 2014. I always get the message empty cartridge for both the first replacement magenta cartridge that I bought a few days ago, as well as for the second replacement I bought yesterday.
I have tried everything I can find mentioned in this forum to solve this problem, but have had no success. I have to assume that the printer has failed, or is there a fix for this problem?
If you have another cartridge, which could remove the error. You do not have to throw away your existing criteria, just put them in a ziplock bag in plastic and place them in a cool, wet - spot like a refrigerator. Change the cartridges and see if this removes the error message.

I use firefox as my home page. On a regular basis, it tells me im not not using the latest version. When I click on the help icon it says im update. Looks like you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page to be the default home page in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not maintained by Google more so either ignore the message or while in Firefox, go to tools-> Options-> general-> home page section and change your home page.

4. all changes made to your system until the problem occurred: I literally lived "wringer" on this printer, trying to get all of the features to work.
Finally, after dozens of hours of troubleshooting, reconfiguring and update the D110a works well, but it will accept 60 HP ink cartridges but still will not accept HP 60XL cartridges I bought at HP year last online; the HP site where I bought cartridges listed 60 and 60XL ink than those available only compatible cartridges.
Any advice on how to force the D110a accept 60XL cartridge?
Any advice on how to proceed to get my money back or get HP to send me replacement 60XL cartridges that are compatible?
I feel ripped-OFF... and I do not think that HP will stand behind their product.

Cartridges are guaranteed for 2 years from the manufacturing date. I suggest that you contact support phone HP you may qualify for replacements.

I recently reinstalled Windows Vista from an HP recovery partition and tries to get all the available updates installed.

However, once the two are "settled", they both returned to appearing as available again. They appear several times in the update histroy, but do not appear in the list of installed updates. Accordingly, I find that they have not been installed.

I've tried time and again to send this file. I've never synced before so I got that all set in place. Then ask master passwork safety device. So don't think that I had never set up an account and created the password. When you try to send email that I ask to link it goes to 'box' and I allow thunderbird to use use it. can he request master password and I type that in and it doesn't work.
