8451 I2C loop runs slow when reading data
Hi all
I have searched the boards for a solution to my problem, but have not been able to find an answer.
I have a ST LIS3DH accelerometer connected to the NI USB-8451 using the I2C interface. I'm just trying to read acceleration data chip and write to a file. However, despite the fact that I say the loop to run every 1 ms, it seems that the faster, it can perform each read is about 12 ms (which is about 80 Hz). I'm trying to ultimately collect data at 1000-5000 Hz, which would mean the execution of the loop each 0.2-1 ms.
I'm new to Labview and realize that I might have some inefficiencies in my code. I don't know if the code optimization will be enough to solve the problem or if Labview or 8451 all simply cannot hold to these speed.
I'm running on the following system
Windows 7 64 bit
1st generation core i5
8 GB RAM
LabVIEW 2009

I recommend you do the data type of the notifier a cluster that contains a path and a numeric (double). The path indicates the reader what file to play. Digital is the duration.
Now in a way a bit complicated, but really good stop your second loop. Do not use a second notification. Instead, send the normal notification but not use a path for the path in the cluster. Your second loop can write a check for the path of a not and stops when that is received.

5 click on the "Startup tab" scrolling through the list of programs and clear the checkbox next to the programs you don't want to start up to a faster start.
6 click on apply or OK and restart the computer.

loop running only when the mouse or keyboard are active

I started a few weeks ago a pretty big VI. Most of the program is included in a large loop. But I feel it's to slow down unnecessarily. So to optimize it, I would like that the VI only works when the mouse or keyboard is acting on it. It would free up the CPU when I do not use it without having to shut it down. I found on the internet how to use the "wait for" to slow down the loop, but in doing so, some parts of the VI that must run in real time also slow down. I think that my idea should be more effective as well for applications in real-time and to free the memory.
Accordingly, how can I ask the while loop to skip to the next iteration only when you press the mouse button or when a field is filled by the keyboard? Or is there an alternative for the while loop?

Project runs slow when it is transferred to SCORM

The project works well when the alert is disabled and that I test it online but it works slowly and crashes flash when it is run in a SCORM system.
I use:
Mac OSX 10.9.2
Captivate 7.0.1.237
About the project:
70 slides, 3 videos (streamed via youtube).
3 sections, a questionnaire to each section.
The total package file is about 22 MB.
The only quiz that I needed class was the last, but given that Captivate can do a quiz section the last two quizzes are both.
All my SCORM settings:
SCORM 1.2
Model: SendTrackingDataAtEnd
Interaction data are DISABLED
In setting advanced:
Everything is checked EXCEPT 'send data on each Slide '.
About the crash:
So at the beginning I thought he planted to cause the graduate quiz because he's still planted on this slide. Then, I removed everything EXCEPT the graduate quiz and it worked fine. Then I went back and removed only the graduate quiz and it crashed close to the same place (about 40 slide).
Also, I went online and tried to shorten my quiz slides, which did not work. Then reading online more people mentioned that the term may not be too short, so I moved it to the top.
Then I thought that my problem was with our LMS System. So I created an account on cloud.scorm.com and the project crashed in the same place. However, I got a few errors I don't understand this site. The errors are:

Right then I realized the problem and it's weird.
I got a "custom" Menu in my project. On each slide, the menu consisted of; PLAY, PAUSE, REWIND, SECTION1, SECTION 2, SECTION3
The buttons on the SIDE jumped to the first slide of each section that creates "dependencies".
By trial and error, that I realized that given all these dependencies caused flash crash.
Weird huh? Or is it something that is talked about before?

RoboHelp 8 runs slow when you use the network drive...
I have several users at my company who improved RoboHelp X 5 RoboHelp 8. They report that when they are working on projects that are located on a network drive, RohoHelp running very slowly (which never seemed to happen before with X 5). I read on several forums that RoboHelp must be used with projects that are on the local drive, but I can't find any formal recommendation to Adobe about it, or have no explanation as to why the network drive doesn't work well, I found. At Adobe all officially commented on it, and no one knows why the performance of the network drive is bad? Is there anything that can be done to allow my users to keep using their network without the poor performance? Thanks in advance for any help you people can provide, I'm stumped.

Your projects RoboHelp MUST live on a local drive. You can archive them on a network, but NEVER actually open and change while they are on the network.
The two reasons most people incorrectly assume that they should be on the network is because you want to share with other authors and you want to back up in case your hard drive goes down. These are valid reasons, but it does not work because the. DPC (a cache of the Access database file) usually becomes corrupt - not to mention latency LAN-related performance problems.
Until most of us do is either use the free RoboSource Control that comes with RoboHelp or establishing a manual routine to copy your current job to a LAN for more safety and establish a routine with the other authors who will be working on what, when.
Sorry to break the bad news. That is the reality.

How can I ignore the differences between databases when reading data from a database?
My boss wants me to create a text parser that analyzes the sentence below and executes a SQL query.
"' get the table field1, field2, field3,..., Manyfield [where to SQL conditional statements].

Since different DBMS have different timestamp formats, this sentence should be changed for each DBMS.
Ignore the differences is to do anlayzer that converts a certain type of timestamp string to one that adapts to each DBMS complex a text.
But it seems ridiculous to adopt this solution when there might be an elegant solution.
LabVIEW Toolkit of DB is not able to hide the differences.
Does anyone have a better idea that I do?
I remember having a problem like this when you are working with an older version of an Oracle server. I was able to change the session by setting the 'NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT '.

Qosmio G20 running slow on DVD and music
My G20 110 is very slow when playing DVDs and music CDs. Note that it runs slow on reading music, which is preloaded on the hard drive. I checked the speed of reading and it is normal. Any help would be appreciated. Help!... Kenn

If you have an up-to-date virus scanning program and scan your system. Then go see Adaware personal and start a new search. If these do not work, try to reinstall windows with the supplied with the system recovery cd. At this point, I would like to know how is the computer. This should restore normal operation however speed and don't forget to back up data before restoring from CD -
"Could not read data" when you try to print from Android
Hello. I have a printer HP Officejet 6700 Premium, which is connected via ePrint/HP connected to my Google account so that I can print from my Google devices (Cloud Print). While this works very well when printing from my laptop (29 Chrome on Ubuntu 13.04), it does not when printing my Nexus 10 (Android 4.3) or my Galaxy Nexus (CyanogenMod 10.1.3). I tried printing both outside and inside the network on which the printer is on, but whenever I get "could not read data" in the Cloud Print dialog box. It seems that Cloud Print knows that the printer exists, since it is on the list, but it cannot communicate with the printer. Any way to solve this problem? He's good enough additional features only on my previous printer, who died of old age.

General Protection Fault encountered when reading the ARINC429 data
My program is configured to read data using a Ballard ARINC Board and write the data to a log file.
It works well if no data is received, but the arrival first of valid data, the program meets "General Protection Fault... "and stops at the entrance to the function below:
void MakeLogMsg (char * msg, LogFilePtr lfp)
The string pointer and 'lfp' 'msg' were valid at the time.
PS: The program ran fine until I added the loging funtion.
Problem solved!
The string is terminated by a character zero. Just my program will enter a loop dead if valid data arrive.
