8620 jet office: HP 8620 loses the connection to the network; constantly requires a restart to connect

Had a 8620 connected to my home network for months with no problems.

Using airport with Mac and Mac / iPhone / iPad.

From one week there is no device cannot find the printer.

Turn off the printer; Turn on the printer; printer reconnects to the network fine and prints.

Wait 5 - 10 minutes (after the printer into hibernation).

Try printing something again.

Same problem-devices cannot find the printer on the network

Turn off the printer; Turn on the printer; printer reconnects to the network fine and prints.

etc.

No change to any software; computer hardware; or the OS I know.

Help, please.

Hello

Restart your router by unplugging its power for a while, let it 2-3 minutes to boot.

Then restart the printer and check if you can see a difference.

Please let me know the results,

Shlomi

  • HP LaserJet M1522nf begins to lose the network connection

Hello! I have HP LaserJet M1522nf and I use it for about 1 year maybe, but since last week, he begins to lose the network connection (ping failed, web interface does not work too). To be correct, the printer is connected directly to the network through an ethernet cable, and the cable is perfectly fine. His work when you turn it on and for the next 5 to 15 minutes, but after that it lost connection (tasks start fails).

I really like using little aid, some perhaps of advice. Any suggestions?

Hard reset the router to factory settings and reconfigure your settings.  Pass the cable to a different port on the router.  You said that the cable was good... change anyway.  Try now.

  • SG 300-28: duplication of port: loses the network connectivity of the destination host

    Hello

We have two SG 300-28. On one of them, I have configured the port mirroring because a host behaves strangely. When I create the mirror, the host connected to the destination port is not available any longer, for example, it does not meet a ping. Port source packages appears on the port of destination, but no package intended to be the host itself. East - this behaviour right? I agreed that the host on the destination port is always accessible, as it would be without the mirror.

    Bernd

    HE Bernd,

Yes. This behavior is just. That's how Port Mirroring works. The host connected to the Destination port loses its connectivity and it can act as a monitoring device using programs like WireShark (and monitor packages coming to and from the Source port (s)). All configurations on the destination port are substituted.

Let me know if you need assistance,

    HTH,

  • HP1102w continues to lose the network SSID

My Laserjet 1102w wireless worked fine for about a year.  Now he has started to lose my network connection.  When I print a status page, it shows that it is "connected" to SSID HP8AA7DC, which I assume is the default value of HP, and had no IP address.  I re-installed the printer 3 times in 4 days and it works fine for a day, then the same thing happens.  I am running Windows 7.  To my knowledge, nothing has changed recently other than to have an extra laptop using the network (never printed however).  This could be the cause?

OK, thanks for that.  We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address.  Set the IP Address of the printer to the same as its IP address but replace the latest figures with "250".
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Wireless Photosmart B110 printer loses the network by disabling?

Whenever I have cut the power to the printer, I find that I have to reset the router anywhere again. The router is a dolls operating on Virgin cable service. The computer is a Medion on windows 7. I have reinstall the printer software that he cured while I went on a stop to test. However, when I used it a few days later he was at square one. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I want to just say thank you for your help. I went back to the drawing board and downloaded the latest version of the software. Then he reset the router and the printer again added to the network. Pleased to say all seems well, after testing for the last week. • Lose the network settings after being off

    Hey all,.

Recently bought just the XPRT and I love it! Fast phone with a soft keyboard. I use the phone in Australia so I use the mode of GMS/UMTS network.

I want to turn off my night phone to save battery power that often forgot to charge my phone. However, when I turn on my phone it restores the Sprint network mode and turns on the entire guards and disables data connections. So you have to change it every time is a bit boring, so I was just leaving my phone in the night.

Is it possible to save these settings, so I can turn off my phone at night? Or do I have to leave my phone?

    See you soon!

Just turn on airplane mode before on you stop at night. Then when you turn it on the next morning they did re - define everything in the app from Sprint.

    Hi Susan,.

Try to run Photoshop, hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard and click Yes to ignore the optional plugins loading. If that helps connect some third parties could be the cause of problem. If this is not the case, go to the second suggestion.

Hold control, SHIFT key and option key when you launch Photoshop and choose Yes to reset

What is an outside source that makes me lose my connection?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    1. using a wireless or a wired internet connection?

    2. you receive a specific error message/code when you lose the network connection?

3 did you change on your computer before the show?

According to the description of your problem has been the issue is not specific to a single computer, because you lose the connection to both of your computers at the same time. Keeping this in mind I recommend you contact AT & T by clicking the link http://www.att.com/esupport/

If AT & T guide you indicating that the problem is with your computer, you can then follow the steps mentioned below:

    Method 1:

Step 1: Perform a safe mode with networking

Safe mode, start Windows in a limited State, where only the essential is started. If a problem does reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic device drivers and services as causes possible

Start your computer in safe mode with networking

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

Step 2: Perform the clean boot

A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. The article below describes how to solve problems in Windows 7 by performing a clean boot. This article also describes how to start the Windows Installer service and how to reset the computer so that it starts as usual. To configure your computer to clean boot see the following link.

If there is more than one return value, and if you are working in "multiple" (see Set-PowerCLiConfiguration), which is probably the cause of the error

  • HP Office Jet Pro 8620: IMAC loses the connection to the printer

Computer do not print and seems to lose the connection to the printer. I deleted all printers and made a new connection to the printer. Printer address 192.168.0.14.  IMAC later loses the connection to the printer again. I look at address on printer and now is 192.168.0.15. Its done this several times. So why the printer continue to change its address? Is it possible to put it permanently?

Think I fixed it now. Problem was that I also had to set the Configuration of DNS address. Of course although computer knew the address of the printer, he could not find the server (i.e. the router) don't understand everything, but seems to work now.

Went to the printer the webserver integrated with my Web browser. On the network, wireless 802.11, IPv4 configuration tab, I already had the manual IP, the subnet mask and the default gateway. I need to go to the next Section under the DNS Configuration, select "Manual DNS Server", then fill in the news for "Manual preferred DNS server".

AllOf the above address were extracted from the information sheet, you can print directly from the front panel of the printer. My son who is more Apple savy than I am, said that he did not understand why I had to put an IP address manual for printer even when that she would have remained the same.  I don't either, but just know whenever IMAC my wife lost the connection to the printer IP address had changed.  My router is built with the Modem cable provided by the company. It is perhaps part of the problem.

So no, it seems to be fixed number. So if you set a manual IP address, make sure that you also specify a "preferred DNS server"

    Thanks for your help

  • Office Jet 8620: Wired Ethernet connection - first installation

I'm trying to connect my printer HP 8620 nine for the first time (using the Ethernet cable) to my Apple AirPort Extreme router. The Configuration Page of HP network says that the network status is offline. The printer display says "connected".  (SetUp-> set up a network-> settings-> view Ethernet Details-> IP address Ethernet: not connected).  HOWEVER, if I move the Ethernet cable from the printer to a computer, I get a good wired Internet connection. I tried the power on the router and the printer (unplug the 120vac) but without joy of recycling. Before you buy this printer, I got an Epson 3640 works well on an Ethernet cable to the same router. Please inform promptly.

It turns out that this new printer was defective and returned.

The replacement printer has been installed and, so far, does not work well.

Looking backward, a trick that the Ethernet port on the printer did not work was the observation that the link light nor of the router or the modem (a small LED next to the Ethernet plug) unlit green changed when the Ethernet cable from the printer was plugged (instead the link light remained extinguished).
