I'm kinda not clear about the exact nature of the slowness you describe (what specific aspects are slow, what is compatible or intermittent, etc.), but if it's pretty repetitive, you can try to stop all currently open applications, restart your iPad, then test for the slow pace.   You inspect http traffic in particular? If Yes, I would like to remove this and just inspect other protocols and tcp and udp in general.
