  • iOS 10 update failed iPhone 6 now frozen on the Logo screen

  • Adobe Illustrator update fails... now what?

    I received updates regularly for other Adobe software, without problem.  However, for more than a month, Illustrator update fails.  The error message is:

    The symptoms are typical of a Gen 4 TC... so thanks for putting this info in your profile.

    The new firmware is not the problem... However, the drop of water that makes the vase overflow. Your TC underwent a total failure due to bad soldering... the attempt of the update was this slight element of stress which caused the catastrophic failure.

    If you are a handyman, there is a fix... It of free... and set up to present enough to say that I am fairly confident with your symptoms, it will fix it.

  • Updated recovery on computer now having various problems

    After I did the recovery on my computer, I was doing all the updates. Up to this than the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and NET Framework 3.5 (KB951847) could not update, done very well.  I posted this problem a few days ago "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for versions of .NET 2.0 to 3.5 (KB951847) x 86."  The error Code is 0 x 643.

    So far, the only response was a copy of what I wrote so I found this and thought I would try this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100/ which was to uninstall all NET frameworks, use the utility and reinstall.  However, NOW I get as much install NET Framework 1.1 SP1 and security of .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 update (KB953297).

    Failed installation of .NET Framework 2.0.  Here is the message I get: error 25015.Failed install the assembly
    "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Microsoft.VisualBasic.Compatibility.dll" due to the system error: 0 x 80131107

    Should have uninstalled IE7 until you've done the repair facility. Since you have not, WinXP and IE are in a "confused situation" (while you managed to install IE8.) Your only recourse to repair the damage done a clean install.

    Backup personal data, then do a format and clean install of Windows. Another repair facility will NOT fix it!

  • CC of Lightroom update fails, iOs 10.11.6.  Problem importing raw Nikon D500

    CRD won't let me import my new Nikon D500 camera raw (NEF) files.  When I select the folder where the files are, it is said that the previews are not available.  If I hit the "import" button, I get the following popup - results of import.  Some import operations were not performed.  The file is not recognized by the support of raw in lightroom, then the file number. NAVE.

    When I go to Adobe Application Manager and try to update creative cloud (Photoshop and LR) the update of photoshop downloads successfully, but update to LR fails.  I get the following message - impossible to extract the downloaded files.  Press Retry to download again.  I hit try again dozens of times and each time it fails just after reaching 50%.

    In reviewing comments/responses to this question in the old posts, I tried the following suggested solutions with no luck:

    I downloaded the latest update via updates of product, open the disk image, open the folder/packages, find all .dmg files in the packages, open, then clicked and installed the update of the installer.  The result is the same, no preview and will not import NEF files.

    I click on Option/Go in the Finder, choose the folder library/application Support/Adobe/AMMUpdater, then deleted the 1.0 file open Adobe Application Manager again through the update of the LR process.  He is still unable to download.

    I also read a post you need to remove the 1.0 folder by following the above process for computer/library... and the users/user/library..., but I have no idea how to do to access any other library folder on my iMac than I find by pressing Option/Go in the Finder, and then by selecting the folder library/application Support/Adobe/AMMUpdater.

    I have 2 questions-

    1. can you give me the solution to fix this in simple, easy to understand language that one business savvy tech like me can understand?

    2. If not, can someone tell me how I can talk to a real life person of adobe support who can guide me through the process of solving this problem?

    Hey guys got solution for problem of OTA update no matter what version you are and get you the update issue it works for all OTA on Vibe K5 / K5 more.

    Steps: -.
    1. download Lenovo Assistant
    2 connect your device with pc as usb debugging must be on with unlocking OEM is also on
    3 Lenovo Wizard detect your device and the last OTA to your device as well. good download it.
    4. after the download finish it will try to flash your device with the latest OTA but unfortunately it failed with the error. (relax_)
    5. open C:/ProgramFiles/LenovoMobileAssistant/folder on your computer now, go to the plugins folder there u got
    Update.zip, copy it and paste it somewere now extract it.
    6. you got several zip with find country_name.zip 'India.ota.zip' files and 'System.zip' copy this two in your SD camera card.
    7 reboot to recovery and first flash India.ota.zip using inventories, it will automatically restart.
    8. new reboot to recovery and now System.zip flash finally it starts to blink.

    Note:-it will work only and only if you have not installed the CWM/TWRP/Phiz recovery on your device. as TWRP flashed so I can't but after restoring the firmware stock S042 I resolved the number using this way.

    Oh yes m on A6020a46_S056 and the heating problem is resolved almost not at all same heat during a heavy games, did not notice another change log.

    In Contacts, drag the top and choose settings. Once in the settings, how many accounts is enabled?  If there are several service accounts, change all except your e-mail account and then let me know if the duplicates appear always.

    General advice for troubleshooting when iTunes is unable to properly install (and reinstall or repair it does not) are to remove not only iTunes, but all the components, restart, remove the target installation files and reinstall.  See the following troubleshooting guide excellent by turingtest2:

  • I replaced my Windows 7 64-bit system drive and now I have the "Not genuine" message after an update failed

    I have a Windows 7 64-bit system I bought a provider on the local computer for a long time with Windows installed.

    I replaced my hard drives of 500 GB (mirrored RAID configuration) system with hard drives of 1 TB.

    After replacing the readers, I also installed a set of Windows updates. We update failed. After you restart the computer, I ran Windows update again. It seemed that all upgrades completed.

    HOWEVER, I now have the message "this computer is not running Genuine Windows". Windows Indexing is not running, send me problems in Outlook and elsewhere.

    I saw discussions on the online forum on the problem "Not genuine" resulting from an update of Windows failed and resulting also to change the hard drive.

    I led Activation (slui.exe 3) typed in the product key from the sticker on the computer and it activates OK but does not erase the message.

    I clicked on pay online now and ran legitcheck.hta and my system has failed validation. The options are to buy or to perform a new installation of Windows.

    I have a lot of programs installed on the computer, and I can't lose all configuration data and reinstall all programs. That would take several days and I would not have a system can be used in the meantime.

    I ran the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool (1.9.0027.0) and have these results below.

    There are a lot of files file mismatches and "tampered with". I believe that this is due to the update has failed.

    I thought to manually rerun all updates that goes back to the date when first I struggled (about a month). However, I wasn't sure if this solves the problem or make worse it.

    I am a independent and use this computer to work. I have backups of my data files, but it is many installed applications that I can't do without.
