Hello

1. when exactly you get this error message?

2. what browser do you use?

3. If Internet Explorer, what version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

4. are you aware of any changes made to the computer, before the show?

A runtime error is a software or hardware problem that prevents a program to function properly. Runtime errors could cause you to lose information in the file that you are using, causing errors in the file (corrupt the file) so that you cannot work with it, or prevent you from using a feature.

If it does not solve the problem, try method and forward them to the following, following.

Method 1:

Step 1: Safe Mode

Start your computer in safe mode and check the number.

Start your computer in safe mode

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2: Clean boot

If you are not facing the problem in safe mode, and then put your computer in a clean boot and search for the question.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: once you have determined the problem by using a clean boot procedure, follow step 7 in the article to restore your computer to normal startup.

Method 2:

If you get this error in Internet Explorer, try the steps in troubleshooting mentioned in the following link.

Correct errors in Internet Explorer

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/822521

Note: Reset the Internet Explorer settings can reset security settings or privacy settings that you have added to the list of Trusted Sites. Reset the Internet Explorer settings can also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the reset Internet Explorer settings.

Method 3:

Download and install the latest versions of Microsoft Visual C++ and are looking for the issue.

For the 32-bit version of Windows Vista:

  • Windows Explorer crashes continuously on Windows 7 with Visual C ++ Runtime error

I have recently (before Christmas) improved my Thinkpad T60p with Windows 7 Ultimate Edition.
Everything was OK until this morning. Now whenver I launch Windows Explorer, I get a crash window saying "this application has requested execution in an unusual way.

When I click OK, the box appears again.

Given zero has no effect. In fact, the box appears even if I have no application running and I click on the folder button.

Other apps seem to be running OK (it came through Firefox), but I can't access my files.

I tried to get back to a previous restore point: to see that there are none. Apparently, the amount of the disk reserved for recovery points was set at zero (I'm not and there are 50 GB + free disk)

    Hello Gareth,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Windows forum.

Let us know what happened after running a virus scan.

This type of error is usually related to damaged C++ components installed.

Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime

Search for and then remove the existing installation of Visual C++. To do this, follow these steps:

    In Windows 7

    1. in Control Panel, open programs and features. To do this, click Start, type appwiz.cpl in the start search box and press ENTER.

    2. Locate the Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs.

    3. click on Microsoft Visual C++ and then click on uninstall

Note If you do not have Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs, go to step 2

Follow the steps to remove the software.

Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime. To do this, follow these steps:
Visit the following Microsoft Web site: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx

In the search next to all the Downloads box, type Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, and then click OK.

In the search results, click the Package redistributable Visual C++ for your operating system.

Note The x 86 version of the package is for the 32-bit version of Windows. The X 64 version of the package is for 64-bit Windows version.

On the page that opens, click Download, and then save the file to your desktop.

When the download is complete, double-click the executable file.

Follow the instructions that are displayed. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

If the problem persists, try method 1 clean boot and check.

Put your computer in a clean boot state, and control.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

Note When you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns. However, you may receive the error message, or you can experience the original behavior.

To put your computer in a clean boot state, follow these steps:

    Perform the clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.
    2. click on the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)
    4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    5. click OK and then click on restart.

The steps above to put your computer in a clean boot state. Refer to the link below to learn more about clean boot and follow the steps:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

If the clean boot is little help, try method 2 SFC scan.

The tool File Checker system to determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows Vista, run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start

and then type cmd in the box start the search .

    2. Right-click cmd in the programs list and then click run as administrator .

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

    3. At prompt command, the following line, and then press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

  • OneDrive of browsing for the file of the company is blocking explorer.exe with visual c ++ runtime error

I posted this in the OneDrive for business forums and was told to come here because they were not able to climb it - a few other people responded saying that they had exactly the same problem.  I copy + paste the original message here.

OK, now let me preface this by saying: I was fix this for the better part of a week and I am puzzled.

I work in the it Department for business (~ 200 employees) medium, we have recently migrated our the server local exchange to Exchange Online (we are now using a mixture of licenses Office 365 E1 and E3) and we have since then all members of society with their synchronizations of OneDrive.

About 200 people, that we have put in place, there is a person who has this problem - when he opens the file Explorer and looks in his folder OneDrive @ company, less than a minute, it will get a Visual C ++ runtime error and explore crashes / restarts and is able to work again.  Of course, within a minute, the same thing happens. It is under windows 7 x 64.

This particular user has a mixture of files .dwg-AutoCAD, PDF, word/excel files and jpg files on his onedrive for a total amount of approximately 7 GB.  It uses the preview in the Explorer pane, and I saw a similar problem during its use in the past, so I applied the patch and it did not help.  If I disconnect his onedrive and move his files back in its documents folder, it can browse its files without any problems whatsoever (including using the preview pane).

want to hear the best part?  I set him up on a laptop quite different from ZERO and it does EXACTLY the same thing!  No one else in the company is having this problem, and almost every other laptop that we deployed using the same exact configuration.  I'm starting to think, it could be a problem with his records, but I'm not sure - go to synchronize its reader to my computer to see, even if I'm on windows 8.1.

Everyone knows about this type of problem?

Also, I already tried to delete the cache of records office and completely reinstalled onedrive on the original computer.

This is clearly a problem inherent in the OneDrive itself.  Let me know if any kind of logs are needed.

I could never get anyone to help me here so I ended up spending the user assigned to windows 8.1 and it helped.  Sometimes it happens again but windows 8 is much better at handling explore crashes, so it's just a quick blip and he is back at work.

    Good luck.

  • @ start up, I get a box that says microsoft visual c ++ Runtime library... this application has requested time to close in an unusual way

On startup, I get a box that says microsoft visual c ++ runtimelibrary... this application has requested time to close in an unusual way... I click on OK, but after several minutes of "Please wait", the same pop mailbox and I can't log on to my laptop.  It started after a windows update that I did.  Once in a while, if I stop the computer laptop and reboot, I'll only get this box once and then it will allow me to connect and everything is fine after that.

    Hello

    Step 1:

You can try to start in safe mode and check if the problem persists. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. If a problem doesn't reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic as possible cause device drivers. To start in safe mode follow the link.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If the problem does not occur in safe mode then boot to the desktop in normal mode and check that the third-party program is causing the problem. To configure your computer to clean boot follow the link below.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 article to start on normal startup.

  • Tracing with Visual Studio 2008 works only the 1st time

    Hello

I use Visual Studio 2008 and TestStand 4.1.1.

    I have a c# dll and I'll call a function of TestStand.

In VS, I "join to deal with...". "and choose to attach it to TestStand. I start my sequence and VS to get to the point break that I set myself in VS.

    Everything is great.

Now if I "Stop debugging", I do some changes for my dll, recompile all right and reattach to TS, everything seems ok.

But if I start my sequence, do not strike my breakpoints and step runs without me trace in my c# code.

The only workaround is to close TestStand, restart it, reopen the sequence and reinstall VS on it, then works again my breakpoint.

What's wrong? I wouldn't restart TestStand whenever I do change the dll and reattach. I tried to unload all modules also with no success.

I do something wrong or solutions to avoid restarting TestStand after changes to the c# code and you want to draw it.

    Thank you.

    Hi Matt,

First of all, I tried to replicate what you experience following your instructions, but I couldn't recompile the DLL after the stop debugging in Visual Studio, because the DLL was still in use in TestStand.  After I unloaded all the modules, I could recompile.  I then re-attached and saw what you were doing.  So, to get around him, I tied to the process in a slightly different way.  In Visual Studio, I went to tools' attach to process, and then chose the seqedit.exe process.  Before mounting, I pressed the Select button on the right side of the dialog box in the middle of changing the type of code we are debugging.  Select the radio button "Debug these code types" and verify that "Managed".  This will ensure that the debugger attaches only to managed code (c#).  After I did, I could run my sequence again without having to restart TestStand.

I would like to know if it works for you.

    Hi, Jon,

It would really help, whenever you have any questions, post a few examples of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements) and the results desired from these data. This makes it much more clearly what you want to do.
If you don't want to show all the data, use the tables commonly available (like those of the scott schema) of your DIF,.

I think you want to use the COUNT function Analytics (without ORDER BY clause) instead of ROW_NUMBER.

    SELECT deptno

Any ideas what is causing this and what can I do to fix it?

    Hi Jim52402,

    (a) only the message only occurs when you try to run Windows Media Player?

A few methods that you can try:

    Method 1:

This could be a virus or a malware attack.

A scanner to check if a virus is the cause of the issue of your antivirus software.

Or a scan online using the link: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

    Method 2:

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow the steps in the article below:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    Method 3:

Uninstall and reinstall Windows Media Player

    Step 1.

    Uninstalling Windows Media Player:

    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. search for multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer

    Step 2.

    Reinstall Windows Media Player:

    1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
    2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
    3. find the multimedia functions and place a check mark in front of the Windows Media Player.
    4 restart the computer.
