A confirmed upgrades to the video card for XPS 8500?

I want to upgrade the video card in my XPS 8500 (currently a 7570). I searched around and literally impossible to find a simple confirmation of a card that suit and will work (not to mention that the other a Dell offers, 7770, I think that it is). I would really fall into a 6850 6870 or 7850 (in the order of less for the most favorite). I found lots of info on cards that work with the old 8300, XPS, which uses the same power supply as the 8500 according to me. However, I'm not sure if the limitations of the space are the same in the case of XPS 8500 compared to the 8300.

Would appreciate any info. Thank you!

I don't see why not.  I just installed a R9 Sapphire x 280 in my XPS8500, I have an OC of HD7850 Sapphire.   This card is crazy for a long time.

No, it has nothing to do with updates of Adobe. There is a problem with your video card driver.

Go directly to the Web site of the manufacturer of the GPU for updates (not Microsoft, not a System Builder).

    Hello

You won't have a very big video card for video streaming.   The biggest problem will be the bandwidth of the network and which will vary depending on the density of content that you choose and the format of the data.

For example, Netflix recommends 6-7 Mbps of bandwidth for HD video.

This NVIDIA GT 430 graphics card would be a good upgrade.

I realize to update my graphics card, I need to upgrade from my diet, and I'm fine with that. What I really struggle with, is what are the specifications of the motherboard on this computer. I would like to know what my bandwiths PCI-E are on it (IE 1 PCI-E X 16 1 PCI-E X 4?)

Also, I would get the best graphics card I can get to what will fit (for adobe work). I measured the space and wow is not much... most graphics cards are 10 "long, and the space, it seems to me is only a fight 7.5" before I launch into the box for hard drives. I assumed that I could cut out the box and free up space, but thrilled to hear what others use.

Also, I noticed there are only two PCI-E ports, but the 2nd is probably useless due to how close his pushed to the bottom of the case so I'm stuck with a 1 GPU option.

Keep all this in mind and without cutting into the hard drive cages, let me know if this could work:

GPU: MSI N760 ITX gfx card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127772

    Power: 600w http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438014 EVGA

Don't get me wrong, I would like a more powerful GPU (I push 2 monitors 1920 X 1080), but I don't see how I can get whatever it is also gone...

Feeding okay? It works for that?

Thanks for all the help and advice that you have!

Food looks good.  It is only 5.9 "long which is what you want for your snap custom mount you have on this system.  The MSI card is very short, it looks like a good way too.  Your system has a PCIe X 16 2.0 slot for the video card.  Speeds of the lower PCI X 16 slot is connected to X 4.  With only a 250 watt power, this system is all designed for video cards more if two small.  The 760 GTX is a powerful video card.  I see no need to put a video card premium that costs $500 or more in a Dell system.  To do so, make a custom version of a case of nice game for better air flow and cooling.

  • I have a HP p6653w desktop computer and you want to upgrade the video card for gaming. What is the best card that my

I have a HP p6653w desktop computer. Can I upgrade my video card and what is the best card to get to the games?

    mathenson,

You can update the video, install any PCIEx16 card video and the new PSU (power supply).

The general answer is based on the games you play. It is best to search for the site of the game, reading the recommended list 'graphics card '. Then add a little more.

    graphics card comparison site. http://www.hwcompare.com/6232/Radeon-HD-5670-vs-Radeon-HD-6950-2GB/

Each graphics card is then looked up, noting the length of the card connectors (power cards) required recommended PSU.

    Example: XFX HD6950 2 GB:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150530

    (1) two PCIE 6pin power wires

    (2) card 10 "

    (3) min 500W PSU, if you add up.  Your 250W + card + fresh 200W generals = 600W

630W PSU will fix the wiring and size http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182200

  • Can I upgrade the video card for a dm4-3095la

So I was good this laptop and I quickly noticed it's really bad at the game and I did research why and I saw the problem was the graphics card and I was wondering if it was possible to update the graphics for the special edition of beats dm4-3095la.

    Hello:

No, except if you replace the motherboard, which would cost almost as much as buying a new laptop computer with better graphics.

  • Update the video card, for P6654Y

    Howdy;

I have a P6654Y I think to upgrade the video on so I can play Diablo 3.  He plays now, but it is slow.  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1; 4 GB of RAM.

I think to put in the nVidia GTX 560ti as well as a new power supply 600w, but am unsure of compatibility with the motherboard (RS880-Μatx N-Alvorix);  the current video (integrated ATI Radeon 4200) said it supports PCIe 16 x; the 560ti is PCIe 2.0 x 16... which is a problem?

Will be the new card / PSU combo works?  I would also consider the 550ti, or even the upgrade on my other machine (Pentium 4 3.0 ghz) if the 6654 is too risky.

Also, as far as the processor goes, minimum of Diablo 3 is an AMD Athlon 64 X 2 4400 +; I have AMD Athlon II x 4 630.  They are in the same stadium?

    Thank you!

Excellent.  Thanks for the quick response!

  • Max Dimensions of the video card for desktop p6770t

Hi, I want to buy a desktop hp p6770t mid-tour, but I fear that the case is may not be big enough for me to add a graphics card.  I think adding a Radeon 6850 or a Geforce GTX 460, which can be as large as 10,24 x 4.84 inches.  What is the maximum size (and the recommended size for the air circulation) card that fits in the case of p6770t?

    JayBee, welcome to the forum.

The first thing to consider is the power supply unit (PSU).  It is 300W.

The HD 6850 required a minimum of 500W to work properly.  The map is 9.25 "length.  It is too long for the space in the case.  You do not want to stay less than 9.0 "; 8.5 "would be preferable.  Read the card in the details section of the advertising page in the link I have provided.    The cards in the link are made by XFX.  They are a very good manufacturer.  I have two of his cards.  I like XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  Personally, I like ATI/AMD.  They have their Catalyst Control Center software that allows you to adjust the fan speed and overclock the card if you wish.

The GeForce GTX 460 is 8.25 "long.  It does not specify the minimum power requirement, but others show 450W.  This may require 500W because it is version overclockee.  Read the reviews from customers on all cards.  This will give you the straight scoop without exaggeration of any manufacturer.

Whichever one you choose, an upgrade of the power supply would be needed.  If you have any other questions, please let us know.

  • Need a recommendation of the video card for CS4

My old Radeon x 1950 is not up to the task when it comes to Windows 7 and Premiere Pro (it works fine on Vista, but I'm going to 7), so I need a replacement. I not looking for more late-and-most great... in fact, a map of the previous generation would be fine. My HP xw6400 workstation is a few years old, but has a lot of life left in it for my application, so I just need to update that element.

I'll probably get on eBay for an old or inexpensive card of the current generation, preferably around $100. He just needs to me until I can fully update (read: replace) my current workstation. Any recommendations for the CS4 and W7 x 64?

I would have a look at an ATI HD4670 or a HD5450. Both are well meet your needs and are an attractive price tag, until you decide to upgrade to a new MEPS supported card.

  • What is the best video card for h8 1280t? Because it does not support 700s GTX :(

I bought a GTX 770 and found HP does not update the bios to take account of the series of video card. TOTALLY LAME. In any case, what IS the best card video, the MB - t supported? (Pegatron ECA2) I have a 550 2 GB GTX OC now so I would like to move to something that is clearly visible to make it useful. Thank you.

    Hello

HP released a list of HP OEM video cards that will work in the h8 - 1280t.  Look at these specifications.

The HP h8-1280 is since over 2 years and I don't expect HP to post additional updates.

If you are having problems with the graphics card no - HP OEM then ask the manufacturer of the video card for redress.

    Hello!

The video card can't be updated because it s soldered onto the motherboard.
Here is a document Toshiba upgrade the CPU and the GPU:

But why you want to upgrade the video card?
However, you clean your laptop if you use the jet of compressed air. This could blow out the dust from the cooling fans.
