  I hope that it reaches the right developers. I just had some suggestions for the future blackberry phone software (OS).

  It should be an option to use the memory card to save data such as messages, e-mail, telephone directory, applications etc. This would prevent the messages are automatically deleted. At least the user should be warned etc. messages are deleted instead of remove them automatically!

  Blackberry desktop software should also be able to back up third-party software.

  There should be an option by which we can password protect applications/inbox/etc. individual according to our prefrance rather than to have just a password to lock the entire phone. In this way we can let someone use our phone, playing games, but do not have access to private data or personal information.

  In the address book, we should be able to create a custome as Mobile 2, Home 3, etc. These days have several mobile phones, and it's boring store the secondary number in the pager, or other category. It is a basic solution and I am surprised blackberry doesn't have this option.

  BlackBerry should also support youtube and also reording video.

  Another feature that I suggest is related to the contact filter option. At present, we can select only a single filter to contact both. Now, it would be great if we have a mechanism by which we can select several filters in this way:

  If I want to select all the people that are in the filter of the USA and who work for company X, I can choose the filter "and" in which the two categories are adapted (2 or more categories).

  If I want to select people who are either in the United States or work for company X (I choose the filter 'or' for this).

  You can have a function special directory where we choose to display only the phone numbers frequently and can put all the numbers that we use that often in a master directory. It would be convenient to so many people!

  When sending SMS to multiple people, please select each individually. It would be nice if we could quickly select using checkmarks next to the person as a whole rather than separately.

  We should be able to add the email as 'spam' of the handheld is.

  We include a reminder of birthday for contacts, which is separate from the calendar option.

  There is no weather app that comes with the blackberry! This a must and should be included.

  Better and more realistic, as the navigation in the iphone. Web sites display in a way very non-eco-friendly and most of the pages are not available easily.

  We should have a shortcut button to compose text messages just as we can press 'c' as quick make up for email.

  These are just some thoughts I had on the way to improve the phone. Of course, applications are somewhat biased based on my needs but I really hope that some key developers fall on this post and implement these ideas in future versions of blackberry OS.

• 10.10.5 OSX runs slowly. Can someone suggest a middle course 'housekeep' of the system?

  My iMAC G5 (Yosemite 10.10.5) seems to work very slowly, and I don't know the hard drive is filled with programs of foreign languages useless, etc, etc.   I tried to use the internal features of the Apple disk utility, but there has been no noticeable improvement.  I also tried to download OnyX, butI received the message that my system does not support the application. Can someone please suggest a safe way to make a clean-up/housekeeping by car? .........

• Some suggestions for a hardware upgrade on P20 S203

  Hi, I upgraded my satellite P20 S203 because I now have a untimely budget of 500 euros.
  I would just have a few suggestions.
  First of all: it's crazy to think about changing the motherboard? And if it seems not too crazy, one of which (obviously to toshiba, because it must harmonize perfectly with all of the equipment, or if you know another name that would go well in the laptop...).
  Second, a REAL soundcard with line of external references in & out (yes I play guitar... :-))), any suggestion is welcome, even if I already have a few names in my mind.
  Thirdly, a wireless card, this model had a place dedicated... my thought woul be obviously for a toshiba, you think? I should any problem if I chose the 100 Mbit/s, one?

  Hello Nerd,

  You can only change a few things on a laptop, such as the memory or HARD drive. A laptop is not a desktop computer. Most of the components are designed for a single model and they do not fit in any other model.

  So, I am sorry to say that you can't improve your mother and sound card.

  But you can put a wireless card in your laptop.

  I have a few suggestions for developers of Windows 7 which, if possible, I'd love to share with them. But I can't find a direct contact method or even an indirect method. I think it would be a fantastic idea for this to be open to the public to suggest ideas to improve Windows 7 forum.

  I tell myself that if Windows 7 is done to satisfy the general public, the public should be able to help, if they want to. Further, his study basically free market for Microsoft, even if they do nothing all that on board.

  Even if you * know * you just did this - that in that order...

  Check your time zone and time are correct.

  Search for malware:

  Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

  Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

  Reset.

  Now reset your Windows with this FixIt components update:

  Reset.

  Try to get updates.

  If it still does not work, try this...

  1. Start an elevated command prompt.
  2. Run the following commands pressing on enter after each line:
     
     net stop wuauserv
     CD %SystemRoot%\System32
     Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
     net start wuauserv

  3. Reset
  4. Try to reinstall updates

  * Important * When you do this, the following problems occur:

  • Updates that are currently downloaded but which have not yet been installed must be downloaded again by using Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
  • When you remove the Software Distribution folder, your download history is deleted.
  • If you currently receive updates from Microsoft Update and Windows Update, you will need to reselect this option from the Windows Update Web site.

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

• VMWare vSphere4 - esx3.5 - MD1000 - Configuration suggestions

  Ladies and gentlemen,

  Relatively new in this area and after a few suggestions - have a Dell PE2900 host running esx 3.5 / VMWare (currently with six virtual machines running Windows Server 2003 and 2008 R2). Attached to it is a Dell MD1000 (via the PERC 6/E adapter) completely filled with drives of 1 TB in RAID 5, giving a combined storage of about 12 TB.

  I am aware of the limit of 2 TB virtual disks, but was hoping to find a way to present some of this storage as a 8TB "chunk" for use as a storage area for the video / those resources (for example if all goes well presented as a mapped drive).

  So far have tried: -.

  • Creating a RAID 5 of 8 TB of OpenManage group - cannot see properly in vSphere due to the limit of 2 TB disks
    
  • Created several TB 1.9 RAID groups and joining these together with extensions - not identify as 'reader' in vSphere due to the limit of 2 TB.
    

  Is it possible to do so under the current configuration? Upgrade of the operating system / software is not currently possible :-(

  If I go into the properties of one of the virtual machines on this host is trying to create a 4 TB drive, I hit the limit of 2 TB virtual disk. Happy to accept that is the limit in my setup, but is it possible to "assemble" these virtual drives of 2 TB?

  With Windows, that a solution could also be used to highlight disks to create a greater volume.

• Need Suggestion for background replacement (which extends tiles with Perspective)

  I'm all a web developer before... not a photo Retoucher. I don't have a lot of Mothering (although I'd take ) but just a few suggestions. I have a typical case where a customer is going to give me a narrative which must be replaced. Usually I can work some 'magical' with content-aware fill and hide but I get a surprising number of shots such as this, where there is a background with a repetition of 'something' that must be repeated/extended and maintain the perspective. Below was my first shot at a "dummy" effort that shows what I'm trying to find out how. I just copied/pasted a selection and used content-aware-scale of wobbly way "Frankenstein." I hope that there is a better way I'm too ignorant to have figured out! In addition to extending the tiles, I need match the light/shadow. Advice or some books/tuts suggested would be VERY much appreciated.

  I would try the vanishing point.  It will be a problem to get the corresponding color.  Maybe almost better just to recreate a tile background.

• Need suggestions of simultaneous readings when deleting entities

  There are a few suggestions for the following use cases, as we can't seem to find the transaction correct locking combination to meet our needs.
  We use the BDB I 4.1.10 and the entityStore is transactional. In a Word, BDB I is used as a Cache for the specific data which are drawn and regularly update a source Oracle DB. The application that contains the BDB is a realtimel application, and the reaction time is critical.
  In order to avoid having to merge the entities (Insert/update/delete) to some of the tables that are small and very static (a few hundred records likely to change every day or more), we simply try to delete all the records (with an EntityCursor loop, since there is no "deleteAll" we could find) and reinsert all data every 5 minutes and then committing when the entire process is complete. This must always be very fast, but we are not insensitive to the time-outs of the source, Oracle DB, so that the transaction can be long.
  In the ideal, so that the delete/insert that goes, we want that operations to return the old (before deleting) reading data from any competitor. We did a test which blocks the thread updated between "remove all" and "update of all the ' methods, so that the delete cursor is closed, but Texas is not yet committed. For our reader thread, we tried the following:
  
  1-if we get() a deleted entity with a LockMode.READ_UNCOMMITTED, we get an entity null.
  2-if we get() a deleted entity with LockMode.READ_COMMITTED, we get a LockTimeoutException.
  
  We also examined using simply truncated on the EntityStore, but this requires the closing and reopening of the DB, so it will not work for our need to always return a value, instantly.
  
  Any ideas, suggestions on how we could do that in a simple way?

• Suggestions to remove a serialized instance of the object

  My scenario is that I wrote a few cases of my class serializable for an outputstream and in a file.
  
  I am looking for some suggestions on how I could possibly remove instances of the file. I did some research on google
  but couldn't find anything. I don't know how to demarshall an object instance back into memory using an ObjectInputStream and the readObject
  method. But I don't have any idea how I could delete the instance of the data file, a fortiori if it is still possible.
  
  Any pointers in the right direction would be really appreciated.
  I not looking for the code, a few suggestions.

  It depends on. If you still have the AL in memory, there is no need to re-read the file. And you don't need to explicitly delete the file. Just create a new OutputStream for her, without setting append to true, will delete the old one.

  No, there is no utility that I know. Even if there were, it would have to write the entire file in any case, unless you agree with it leaves the old version of the AL, and munging just header data so that it is ignored on read.
