No, the length of the card is 15.9 ".  Should be a full case large so he can adapt.

    Hi Ken,

Watch high aon back of the graphics card for a switch.  See the image below.

You should have received a leaflet in the box describing the use of the switch (legacy mode or UEFI).  If your PC is a version 8 HP BIOS then disable secure boot if set. If your PC isn't at the level of the BIOS version 8 and then the switch must be in position inherited.  The brochure should describe the use of the switch.

  • P6769 UK: card Geforce GTX 970 of GTX 550ti graphics upgrade

My husband bought a HP PC, because I work for HP.  The Geforce GTX550ti card worked perfectly on the P6769 UK PC running Windows 7; He bought the new card GTX 970 but couldn't make it work with Windows 7, so decided to put the old card back in and install Windows 10 to see if that would solve the problem, which was not. The old card works well running Windows 10 but not the GTX970. Despite extensive research and talk to the 'experts' that he has not yet found a solution - he has a terminal illness, so I would really appreciate help from someone in the forum to help him to enjoy what should be the great graphics for the short time he has left. Please respond to this message and personal email address [personal information deleted] If you can help.

    @Susan_HP

The NVIDIA GTX 970 will not work on your PC. Video in graphics card BIOS and the BIOS is your PC are not compatible.

I suggest that you are looking for an old graphics like the NVIDIA GTX 660. I've used both the TI 550 and 660 and the 660 is a far superior graphics card.

Thanks for posting on the forum.

I have some older Dell Optiplex 755 and 760's, which have little space for graphics cards.  What I find that was or I can afford do not appear on the list of the first Pro of most system requirements supported cards.  Others will work?

Yes, any card $30 video work. For effective material MPE you need a card at least 1 GB DDR5 VRAM nVidia.

  • Satellite P200 accidents + message: graphic card driver does not work properly

    Hello

hope that this issue has not been covered before, but I've owned a Satellite P200 for 3 years now, and this week, it crashes all the time.

When it started going down he gave me a few messages in the sense of "your graphics card/driver does not work properly and windows will be arrested to avoid damage.

It has progressed to the point where now when I turn it on, I have vertical lines running down the screen and the screen flashes on and outside. Within 20 seconds, it restores the BSOD - 'there was a problem and windows will be arrested. Error Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area"then stops.

I ran a system restore but the problem remains.

I have a feeling that my graphics card is toast. Is this good? Are there any other options to try? Thanks in advance for any answers.

    Matt

    Hello

    Sounds like the GPU problem.
But try the graphics card driver update.
Use the most recent driver for your graphics card.

In addition, clean the fans of portable computers.
Dust and debris could prevent the cooling fans to turn with the best speed and this could lead to a higher temperature which would lead to overheating.
Use a jet of compressed air. I also use it and it helps to get rid of dust and debris.

If this is not enough, then a problem of graphics chip would be possible.

    Hello diggerjim,

    1. When you install the graphics card, is detected in the BIOS?

I suggest that you check to see if the graphics card is detected in the BIOS. However, you just contact the manufacturer of the graphics card to have a control over it.

Since it is a hardware related issue, your best option would be to contact the manufacturer or check with the place where you bought the graphics card.

I've been looking around for graphics cards which are or are not compatible with my computer, but found no results. Nobody quite capable of that graphics cards that are still in my price range and are compatible? Even those who are out there?

    Hello

The Intel graphics card is simply not powerful enough to handle the latest PC games.
You think so, why all the hardcore gamer don t buy computers laptops, but during the CPU clock and buy new graphics for PC s Office cards?

The laptop is not comparable with the desktop PC. It's just different technology according to the limitations of hardware upgrade on your laptop, you can spend only the HARD drive and RAM.
You cannot add also all other ports for laptop. It is not possible :(

  • Can it 64 supprt 64 bit games graphics card

    Original title: Please help

Hi I want to play a rom c d with a 64-bit requirement, I have 32 bytes, but due to the upgrade if I buy a 64 graphics card I'll be able to play my other games

    Hello

Both 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a CPU (also called a CPU), processes the information. The 64 bit version of Windows handles large amounts of RAM (RAM) more efficiently than a 32-bit system.

32-bit and 64-bit depends on the installation of Windows XP and not the graphics card. Available in 32 and 64-bit Windows operating system. If the game supports 64-bit operating system, you may need to upgrade the system to windows XP 64-bit operating system.

You can also consider the upgrade of the system to Windows 7, which offers the best performance and stability.

  • Professional PC HP Elite 7200 MT: cannot install the graphics card GEFORCE GT 630

    Hello

My graphics card originally installed (HP GEFORCE GT420 2 GB) was causing my system to freeze (screen black etc.), every time I used the software that requires a lot of graphics power (like games), I decided to update my system with new cards - Geforce GT 630 (PCI-E 2.0).

After installation, my system does not start. He goes to the HP loading screen (the one blue at the beginning) and he won't. There is no sound signal. I just different card installation if I can work on the PC, but I would use my GT 630.

    My terms of reference are:

Professional PC HP Elite 7200 MT

    P/N: XT217EA #BED

    CPU: Intel i5-2400 @ 3, 10 GHz

    RAM: 8 GB (2 x 2 GB, 1 x 4 GB 1333 MHz)

    Motherboard: 2AB6 1.04

    System BIOS: 7.15

    Question - what type of interface PCI-E of the Protocol not 2AB6 Board of Directors system, follow-up support 1.04 (1.0? 2.0? / 3.0?)? According to Findlaptopdriver.com (http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/pegatron-2ab6-mainboard-corporation-specs-151202h39/) it supports PCI-E 2.0.

What GPU are compatible with this motherboard: 2AB6 1.04?

    Thanks for the help

    EDIT:

Just know that my PSU is only 300W, and my new GPU is 350 W to run. Looks like it's the problem.

    EDIT #2:

Change the power supply does not resolve the issue. Now I think that the motherboard isn't compatible PCI-E 2.0 GPU.

    Hello

Contact the video card manufacturer for repair.

The reality is that there is no guarantee that any particular graphics card will work in any particular PC, even if the graphics card works in other PC or even the same or similar model PCs. Know what the return policy is before you buy.

  • The use of the dedicated graphics card? Power management works not at all, no difference

I bought a lenovo g500 and after installing every single player on this site, I decided to test some games from my pc to the laptop.

Unfortunately, I see the games from the pc do worse than what they do on the pc (and the pc is old) so I think that the amd graphics card are not at all. Can someone explain how to enable the amd radeon video card? BIOS does not help and the CCC (catalyst control center doesn't help either).

    For example:

I could run borderlands 2 in a little weak graphics on the pc perfectly.

However on my laptop I can not even reach the main menu because of the very low fps.

Another example is crysis 2, works perfectly on the graphic means on the pc, runs on 2-4 fps on the laptop.

    Features of the laptop:

    Video card

    Intel HD 4000 (one built-in) + ddr3 2 GB AMD Radeon HD 8570 (128-bit)

    Memory

    4 GB of ddr3 memory

    Processor

Processor Intel Core i7-3612 QM @2.10 ghz

    Specifications of the PC:

    Video card

    NVIDIA GTX 650 1 GB ddr3 (128-bit)

    Processor

    AMD Dual Core 6000 + @ 3.2 ghz

    Memory

    4 GB of ddr3 memory

Applications in full-screen mode using lags like hell, my mouse moves in slowmotion too much (real slowmotion)

Edit: windows is 64-bit windows 7.

The solution was to install windows 8 (bought a copy of the professional edition x 64), and then install the drivers from the site. Now everything works as expected. Must have had a problem with the windows 7 x 64 and x 86 drivers... Well, now it works.

@shauni: tried with borderlands 2, could get 11-13 fps MAX during the game with graphics maxed out regardless of the diet plan, but as soon as I switched to windows 8, the amd video card started working and I now have 40-50 fps (which for me is UBER OPTIMAL). I always get 11-13 fps if I unplug my laptop well.

    SOLUTION OF THE SHORT VERSION:
Install windows 8 (x 64 in my case)

NOTE: the drivers on the site are buggy for windows 7 x 64 / x 86. Date today: 8 October 2013.

  • Graphics card dual monitor will fit in an HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z

I need to run two monitors to my HP Pavilion Slimline s3600z.

My OS is Windows Vista 64 bit.

I'm not a gamer; I teach in virtual classes and need to spread out the screen on two monitors.

My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE.

The card offers the ability to set multiple views, so I bought a splitter.

Unfortunately, this does solve the problem.

I bought a low profile with two connections graphics card, but it was too big for the case.

Is there a card dual monitor low profile that fits the business slimline?

Here are the specifications of your HP CTO Slimline s3600z desktop. According to specifications, your computer has a power of 160 watts. This power supply is unlikely to fuel a retail graphics card. The simplest method to use two screens with your computer is probably a adapter USB-to-video EVGA + 19.
