• Where is the "edit page with Excel?

  I often go to a web page that contains a spreadsheet, and I used to be able to pull down a menu which had several elements, which was something like 'Page-> edit with Excel'. Now it's gone and I don't know how or why or all articles that mention how to get it back.

  Edit with Excel has NEVER been a part of menu by default in Firefox - NEVER!

  If you want this feature, you will need to install an extension or a plugin to get this in Firefox menu item - if it is still available.

• Anchor to return to the same line on the previous page

  I saw 4 or 5 posts on this subject, but none of them does not seem to work for me.

  Here's what I would do:

  I use an interactive report that contains an overview of the tasks and the information about these tasks. In the report, there is a column "Edit task" where users can click to change several fields for the task.

  When the user clicks on the 'Edit' task - link, another page (of type 'Dynamic Form') is opened where the user can make adjustments and then save them.

  When the user clicks 'Save' (or 'Cancel', by the way) on the edit page, I want to redirect them to the previous page with the overview of all the tasks, but I want the page to move in roughly the same place as when the line where users you click on 'Special Edition' is located. So if I change a task that is in the middle of the report, I want to return to the middle of the report when the user has finished its adjustments.

  I have seen that it is possible using the anchors, but have not found a position that has worked for me.

  I think that there are three elements to make something with to operate:

  -The "Edit job" - link in relation to the overview of all tasks

  -The button 'Cancel' or 'Save' on the edit page

  -The page with the overview of the tasks that he knows which row to access

  Our end-users really want this feature, so any help would be appreciated.

  I run on APEX 4.2.

  Was the solution after several hours and it is actually not as difficult as it seemed during these hours.

  So for those looking for the way to do it, here it is:

  Make an anchor point in the query of your report which shows the overview of the tasks (or whatever the report will show to you, I use tasks for example) like this:

  Select..., task_code, '', 'Special Edition' task_id of task

  To the page with the overview of the tasks, change the Page attributes-online display attributes-online update of the slider to "don't focus of cursor.

  View the type of the column with the anchor: Standard report column

  It will not work if the column type is 'hidden' or if the column is not in the "selected columns" in your report ("Actions"-online "Select columns").

  'Special edition' is the link that I created to go to the edit form, this link goes task_code as an attribute to identify the unique tasks (do not know if the task_id column will work, I do not use it as ID to go to the edit page, I use the task_code.) It probably won't work with this task_id-column, but if not, create an another task_id column without the anchor and use that one to pass it as an attribute).

  To the page containing your form for editing tasks create the buttons/send-Cancel:

  -"Action when the user clicks on the button ' value 'redirect to the URL."

  -the "target URL" value: f? p = & APP_ID.: 11: & SESSION. : & DEBUG. #& P16_TASK_ID. (include the '. ' at the end)

  Where 11 there is the page you want to link to, and #& P16_TASK_ID. is the item that you will use to access the respective line in your report.

  There might be other ways to do it, but it works for me on APEX 4.2.

  I have a requirement of the catalogue of resources. At the click of a button, I want to load the catalog of resources pop up without the EDITING page (unrelated CHANGE or ctrl + shf + E and then "add content" of the Oracle composer).
  The Action element, we want to implement are
  1.A the page with the ADD"" button.
  2. the button a pop up with 2 files (Taskflows and Portlets).
  3. This shud folder contain Portlets and the Taskflows custom in our application.

  Hello.

  Your requeriments combat the composer :). Why not use OOTB Oracle composer.?

  If you need to do without going to 'Edit Mode' my recommendation is to decompile the WebCenter/composer libraries and try to do the same thing because you have to save the changes to the MDS, manage simultaneous page editing, configure the components that are customizable etc... It is not a trivial job.

  If you find an easier way, please share it with the community :). At the moment I can't recommend decompile you and learn a little how works OOTB.

  What version of jdev you use?
  In the version one (or more) were a mistake where right-clicking does not trigger the selection of the line.

• How can I create CSS for the editable regions in the documents based on templates?

  I created a template in Dreamweaver CS4 by using their set of 3 columns, header and Footer option available. The model works fine in the browser. I inserted an editable region in the empty middle of the model column. I created a new page based on this template and want to be able to format the text that I entered in the editable using CSS. Any time, I try to create a new CSS rule I get the following dialog:

  Do not know what is the 'id' of the middle column, but you must target the text inside that

  The tip is stop created with the css dialog box in DW, it's a load of bollocks and started writing some simple css directly in the page itself. It is easier and gives you more control than any interface automated half cooked in the oven.

  Start learning some simple css. There is absolutey zillions of resources on the net. A couple of hours well spent and your miles further. If you keep pressing DW to do everything for you, then I'm afraid you'll just be going around in circles.

  Enter the code and don't be afraid of him, take it apart and see how it works. Slowly step by step and little by little you will realize how simple structures are and how simple css really is.

• Two forms on the same Page

  I have a page on which there are two forms to two different tables.
  
  The problem I'm having is when I try and create an entry in one of the forms and click on the button create that APEX is trying to enter the information of these two forms.
  
  What I want is the user to be able to enter the information one shape at a time, like a pose after you have entered the information about the two forms at the same time.

  This is how works the master page. You cannot change the things that you put there on normal pages.
  On master pages, you should leave that parts of your layout which sholud look the same on each page. Other parts of the layout must be placed directly on the pages.

Dreamweaver uses comments internally to control what can or cannot be changed within Dreamweaver. According to browsers and web servers are concerned, they are simply comments that are ignored.

  It is possible that a proxy server is caching of your page. You could try renaming the page, download the renamed version and check that.

  The only other thing I can think is that you use a model of Business Catalyst. Business Catalyst is is more integrated with Dreamweaver CC 2015.

  Thank you. When I went back to look at the version that I realized that I've changed my default to the reader. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. So I changed my default and I'm good to go.
