A PDF download went wrong, and now I can't cancel or delete it.

I tried to download a PDF file of 20 MB on Firefox, but 75 bytes in the download, the ignored progress through bar, and he says "Unknown time left". When I tried to cancel the download, it stopped only and then it would not cancel or UN-pause afterword. Now, whenever I have restart Firefox, he's trying to keep the broken download. Clear my download history, or remove the incomplete has nothing. What is happening, and how do I get rid of the broken download.

browser.safebrowsing.appRepURL is the name of the new pref that you need to create through the context menu on the topic: config page.

  • Open the topic: config page via the address bar
  • Right-click on the page and select: new > String
  • Paste in the name prompt: browser.safebrowsing.appRepURL

You can click OK to close the pop-up for now to make it possible to copy the new value to the Clipboard.

You can double-click on the line with the pref or click on edit in the menu and paste the value that you have stored on the Clipboard and click OK to close the pop-up window.
This should give yo a browser.safebrowsing.appRepURL with the value pref https://sb-sslafter.com/safebrowsing/clientreport/download?key=%GOOGLE_API_KEY%
