A .plist file appeared in the My Documents folder

A few days now, a file named "purchaserecordexpirenotifications - qlm.plist" appeared in the My Documents folder.

If I delete i, it reappers the next day.

I can't understand why, or that either the app created that.

Any thoughts?

Angelo

It is probably created by the so-called "Quick License Manager" (developer name "Soraco"), installed by a third-party app, but I can't tell you that one.

  • How can I specify the "My Documents" folder under the directory sync for "Creative Cloud Files?

I know how to move the 'Creative Cloud Files' directory in preferences, but when I do that, it simply moves the 'Creative Cloud Files' directory in the 'My Documents' folder. I don't think that you can set a specific folder in a folder 'sync' in the preferences. Create a symbolic link to the contents of "My Documents" in the 'Creative Cloud Files' directory would work to activate the content of 'My Documents' to sync with the cloud? Breast of Windows 8 BTW, that's...

CrisJM, no, that won't work. You must move the files in that particular folder of creative cloud itself. The only customizable option is that you can change the location of the CC folder (the one you already indicated above).

  • LaserJet M5035 MFP: I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document

    Hello

When sending e-mail through the printer scanner, I have a purple line which appears in the scanned document. Scanning is done from the "feeder ' ' the printer and not the glass.

    The windows were all cleaned.

I did the test and digital printing of the "feeder ' ' and I have no lines for printing!   I did update the firmware of the printer and I still have the same result.

You have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you

The small windows of the charger scanner had a small red above mark.  When the analysis has been done and sent on an e-mail, the line shows as it is scanned were made with the color scan option.  If I print the line doesn't show because the printer is not color!

  • When I download compressed files, they go to the local > temp location, when I extracted all the files, they are sent to the My Documents folder. Can I go to the local > temp location and delete the zip file?

When I download compressed files, they go to the local level > temp location, when I extracted all the files, they are sent to the My Documents folder. Can I go to local > temp location and delete the zip file? Knowing that I still have the data in the My Documents folder.

Once they are checked, of course. If you want to keep a backup, you can move the zip file in your documents folder.

In fact, you can delete everything in the temporary folder that is not currently in use. Best time to do this removal is immediately after the start, before launching other applications.

    Hello

Looks like you look at the image library folder.

You can add any folder in a library, including a users desktop folder.

Open the picture library where you can see these files.

In the view on the right pane, click the includes: x link locations at the top left (x is a number).

This will show all the folders that have been added to this library.

If you see the desktop folder, select it and click Remove.

This will remove it from the library.

  • Where is the location of the file Outlook.pst in Windows 7, the AppData folder does not appear in the user specific folder?

original title: where is the location of the Outlook.pst file in Windows 7?

I want to copy my Outlook.pst to my desktop (Windows XP Pro) data to my laptop.  Outlook displays the outlook.pst file which will be located in the "C:\Users\Specific User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" folder on my laptop.  However, when I try to access this folder in Windows Explorer, the AppData folder does not appear in the user specific folder.  I find in my office because Windows XP does not hide it, but he must hide in the Windows 7 operating system on my laptop.  How can I get it so that I can copy the file outlook.pst from my desktop to my laptop?  If the file is hidden, is there an easier way to copy outlook data from one computer to another?

    Chris

To see AppData, enable the display of hidden files and folders in the Control Panel > Folder Options > view .

It is a forum for Windows 7 with tips on Windows 7.

Windows XP is different, these instructions will not apply.

You can open a command prompt in Windows XP, then use the CD controls to get the folder you want.

If you have installed the Windows XP command window open herePowerToy* then this can happen more quickly - to aid that allows to simply right-click on any folder & open a command already defined for this folder.

    * There was also formerly a very convenient Explore of PowerToy here but that is no longer available from MS - you will find perhaps at cnet or another download site.

There is also a Windows XP forum.

  • How to open the file manager in the 'my documents' or create a shortcut that I can place on the taskbar and how to create a shortcut on the desktop

Also, while I am, I wish you could put a shortcut to 'my computer' on the taskbar, as in former times.  It's a nuisance to the taskbar for these choices, in part because you cannot minimize the folder - must close completely.

    Any ideas?

I'm not sure what you're asking for 100%. You have a Windows Explorer icon on the taskbar? If you drag the "My Documents" folder to the taskbar it going bust in the icon WE. Then just right click the icon and choose 'My Documents'. If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you! My Blog

  • File name of the active document

    Hello friends,

Now that I managed to find quotes (special strings) in paragraphs, notes, tables and table notes - all with your generous help - I need to know the name of the file (path) of the current document (or book).

All I've found is how to get the name of an element of the book file (finally that I need too, but later).

How can I find the file name of the active document (which is not part of a book) and

How can I find the file name of the current book?

    Thanks again for your help

    Friends,

Suddenly, I found the answer (research in the reference of the oject for 'Filename' rather than 'file name' - 'path' in the FDK reference):

    alert ("Now processing book\n"+ app.ActiveBook.Name);
    alert ("Now processing document\n"+ app.ActiveDoc.Name);

  • Win XP: Remove the 'System' of the 'My Documents' folder attribute

Win XP: The 'My Documents' folder contains an attribute of the system. Now, I can't save file there. How can I remove the attribute "system"?

If you look at the security for 'My Documents' tab, you will see that the system has access to the file, but it should not have attribute on the file system.

Access special permissions and see who is the owner of the folder. It should be yourself. If this isn't the case, you may need to take ownership of the folder to get access.

    I hope this helps.

  • Kill the "My Documents" folder in Windows Explorer for XP

Whenever I have called Windows Explorer in my copy of XP and then click on 'Files', the 'My Documents' folder is displayed.
Except that I do not use it and don't want it.
I tried in vain to get rid of him, but when I right click on it and press DELETE, it tells me that the content will not be deleted, only the icon, which would be nice.  But it's that - the icon remains.

You can't delete My Documents. This is a directory on the system. If you want Explorer to open up My Documents, you can change the shortcut to Explorer as follows:

Go to programs > Accessories - right click on the Windows Explorer icon, select properties and type or copy / paste the following text in the target box:

    % systemroot%\EXPLORER. EXE/e, c:

This will open the Explorer to C:\. You can also create a desktop for Windows Explorer with the same command icon. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • move the My Documents folder to another drive

Hello! I just upgraded to Win XP Pro for Win 7 x 64. no problems! I would like to move the My Documents folder, my drive C on my drive D. I was able to do under XP, but do not know the procedure for win 7? No information or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The My Documents folder is part of Windows 7 new document library. A library combines several folders that contain similar file types.

To move your documents to the D drive:

    1. create a new folder of documents on the D drive.
    2. right click on the new folder and click include in library > Documents .
    3. click on Start > Documents .
    4. double-click My Documents to display its content.
5 drag and drop the files to the new folder.
    6. press F5 to refresh the view.
    7. in the document library , click locations .
    8. right click on the new folder, and then click set as default save location .
    9. [optional] click My Documents , and then click Remove .
