  2. in the left side select Software Restriction policies

  3. on the right-hand side, double click on 'Application'

  4. in the title of "Software restriction policies apply to the folling user", select all users except local administrator click "Ok" and restart the PC

  However I managed to the second drive yesterday after many many attempts. It seemed to work when I changed the AutoPlay settings to open the folder and view the files. I have no idea why, but he was able to read the disc in this way, after a few attempts.

  Select "Run as Administrator".

  When you try to install a program (program specific IM only 1) I immediately get this error.  "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation. There appear to be patches for earlier versions of Windows, but I can't find one for Windows 7 Home Premium.  I am the administrator and the only account on a PC in network.

  See if you are using a command-line high, who can help with your problem.

  1 - Open command prompt in administrator mode (start--> Accesseries--> right click on command prompt, select run as administrator

  2 - Run the file msi or .exe from command prompt

  3. now check and see if you can complete your installation

  I looked through the forum and have tried all the options. I try to install the total war empire on my laptop. I installed other games and never had a problem. When I click on install it as upward with the system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation. Once I click ok it said failed to run the script.   Is the only program that you experience this problem with?  If Yes can you install the demo version on their website?   You can also right click on the Setup disk file and select "Run as Administrator" and see if that helps.  Let us know the results of these elements.   I just want to know if someone know a method that works and allows you to install a program in safe mode? I'm running following error message when you try to install an application of msi in safe mode:

  and the event log contains the following event log. Please note that I am not interested in discussing questions about the installation in normal mode. I would like to know if there is any way to do this in safe mode only. I edited the registry to activate the MSIServer installer of Windows start in SafeMode with networking and also entered the local->-> application Software Restriction policies and checked security settings all users except administrators is enabled. Always make the same mistake.

  Windows Setup does not load in safe mode, that's why you get the error probably. Why are you installing in safe mode? Why not normal mode?
