  iTunes game changes the traces on your computer. When you get a corresponding track / purchased, you must select Remove download of the song with some rare down then redownload the 256 Kbps version. If the original version is 320 Kbps, you must keep the original, but these tracks will be 256 Kbps on other devices. Metadata should not be changed.

• Qosmio-F750-11U (free 3D glasses) - Question about 3D games

  Google search for 3D games, I stumbled on "* the polynomial *" on

  - and fell in love with the screenshots.
  So I downloaded and unpacked.

  And am frustrated because I couldn't see it "with depth' - that is why I bought this PC.

  Here's what to do to get it showing in stereo:

  Update drivers: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB1C038G0000R01.htm
  Calibrate the screen by using the Windows Start, "All programs" button, 'SuperD Software', "X-tune", "X-tune".

  * Now for the game *:
  None of the external screens are active (use Win + P)
  Departure polynomial.exe
  Press ESC to get to the control panel.
  Click on display, "full screen" and "Side" next.
  Click on "Play Demo".

  I get the same image in halves left and right of my screen.
  Now comes the bit I battle (d) with: using your fingers right in front, press on the
  "3D" button above the keyboard (2 rows above the 'BACKSPACE' key).

  SuperD Face Tracking should start automatically and the blue light next to the webcam
  lights. (May take a few seconds.)
  Unfortunately, the polynomial has lost focus and is reduced to the minimum.

  Does anyone know why? Or how to prevent that from happening?

  Use Alt - Tab to return to polynomial. It should appear full-screen mode.
  If you have still 2 similar views side by side, prod again key 3D. Wait a few seconds.
  (Sometimes I have to repeat these last 2 steps, but have not discovered what circumstances.)
  Usually, I can lie down at this point and congratulate me on the purchase of such a seriously cool PC. :-)

  Of my knowledge according to the game, it does not work with glasses free 3D mode and with the 2D mode.

  In your case, I recommend to test the free 3D mode of glasses in relation to other games too.

• Questions about running the XP on Vista Games

  I've been curious about using older games of XP on Vista and have not been able to find clear answers to this topic with my own research on the internet.  I'm a Fan of First Person Shooter, and they are scarce since Vista came out.  So I would like to add a few shooters of Vista I have with some of the older games, but I have questions to do.

  My questions are:

  1. If I have an old XP game that is listed as not compatible with Vista can still use it if I play it in compatibility mode for XP SP2? (The game's FEAR)
   
  2. This will mess up my system Vista SP1?

  3. If I install 2 or 3 of these old games XP on my Vista SP1 pc and run in XP SP2 compatibility mode microsoft at some point let me no update Vista again?

  4. should I patch older XP games so I don't want?  I just want to play on solo not online.

  (The games are FEAR, DOOM3, QUAKE4 and PREY). Everything for one player only.

  I had these issues since I got Vista.  I couldn't really find that responses indicated clearly by someone I thought I knew what they were talking about so I hope that I can help.

  Hello Jebidia,

  Thank you for posting.  You have very valid questions and I have some answers.  I currently play FEAR (tested prey in the past) on my Vista Ultimate 64-bit without problems no matter what.  I'd say you do a regular install of the games and they should work fine.  Now if you have some problems, and then reinstall the game in compatibility mode.  As for your other questions, you should have no worries about the game, do not let you Vista update.  Patch games can sometimes resolve known problems that the games themselves are with compatiblities hardware Vista and possible.  You can search for Tweakguides to find a site very useful for players.

• Satellite L650-11R - a few questions about this

  Hello there :-)

  I have a few questions about my new L650.

  I've never had Toshiba notebook before so I apologize if some of these "quirks" are actually quite normal on this laptop. I really want to hear the views of other users L650.

  1)
  First of all, by the time I turned it on I saw gradient thin (1-2 mm) along the right edge of the screen that goes from the bottom up. Maybe "degraded" isn't the right word, but it seems that since two or three pixels are kind of discoloration or lose brightness/sharpness to the edge along the straight bezel. It is not really that visible, looks like the colors are desaturated a bit here or brightness is a bit lacking. He can be seen everywhere (bios or no color in Windows, but better in the lighter background).
  The left side (or other) seems ok, all this along the right edge is somewhat suspicious. If one can compare? I don't know if it's something to worry about or is just supposed to be like that.

  2)
  The other thing I noticed heating of the processor (Intel i3 330M) and GPU (ATi Mobility Radeon 5650). It's pretty hot here right now (I would say that the temperature is around 28 degrees Celsius when using cell phones). He is sitting on the hard surface (table) and nothing is blocking the vents.
  However, at "rest" (surf the web & regular light stuff), average CPU temp hovers around 58 ° C. It usually goes from 45 to 62 in just a few minutes after starting, and then I can hear and see (Toshiba PC Health Monitor) evacuate the kicks in. Temp goes back to 50 +, event stops and then the temp rises to 60 + until the vent is used again.
  During load full (Prime95 or some games), CPU is going all the way up to 75 degrees (the highest being 77). Fan runs at 75 to 77% during this time, never go faster.

  GPU idling is usually around 5 degrees above temp CPU (62-65). During full load (for example. Benchmark of Far Cry 2), I see a lot of stuttering with the latest drivers Catalyst and DX10 (not sure if the stuttering has something to do with heat), otherwise it is ok (no artifacts or anything like that). Temp of GPU during the loading goes up to 74-75, fan speed is locked at 30%, the frequency of the heart 5650 is 450 MHz. left side of the laptop (vent and below) is pretty hot, while the keyboard is warm (or slightly warmer who who).

  These time seems correct and safe in the long term? I'd rather events works all the time (they aren't really very strong) and keeping time less than 50, but there are just wishful pious bios control events and I can't control not the bios. :-)

  This is just General related products. :-)
  Official specifications of Toshiba L650 say ATi 5650 (between other low range GPU), but I saw a few specifications calling for there 5730 (same model 11R). Is there really a Satellite L650 with ATi 5730 GPU models?

  1 + 2. I think everything is related to a higher internal temperature and you must clean your laptop using a jet of compressed air. That is why it s not necessary to remove, just blow softly and soon the air through the laptop. The speed of the RAM is related to the FSB of the CPU and as much as I know about Satellite U405D it s 667 MHz so it s already the RAM faster than you can have.   Clicking Cancel will prevent the running total process if you do not have to worry about the still ongoing services for memory leaks or game, etc..
