Yes, the collection clears all of the C drive and you will lose your files. The solution would be to backup regularly to an external HARD drive and after the key one to also restore the files from the external hard drive.

This has been answered before, if you do a search for "key recovery" it appears among the first results.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

We need more information about the issue so that we can help you better.

Check the drive run at Windows startup?

Thank you for details on the issue.

This message is displayed because the specified file has an invalid security ID. Each file on a NTFS or FAT volume has security what ID assigned. The ID assigned to the data file does not match the ID assigned to the security data stream file ($SDS). There is a mismatch of Ids. CHKDSK replaced the invalid security ID.

Black screen with cursor may appear due to corrupted display driver.

I suggest you try using the steps described in this article and check.

The current versions of Firefox have allowed a built-in PDF Viewer that has all of the features that other PDF as Adobe Reader readers have or can not work properly otherwise.

You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) to Preview in Firefox to use Adobe Reader software or set always ask in "Firefox > Preferences > Applications.

You can set the pref pdfjs.disabled true on the topic: config page to disable the build-in the PDF Viewer.

  • Since version 18.0.0, Firefox regularly replace some parts of my screen when it is enlarged but not active (Outlook or Word); is there any solution for this?

Any time I can get Firefox enlarged but not active (so it is behind another active window / application) on Windows XP Pro SP3, it regularly replace significant portions of my screen. If I move the mouse, type, scroll up/down or anything to change the screen, the active application is slowly starting to appear. For example, in Office 2007, when this happens, I can continue typing a sentence in Word or Outlook and this line is displayed, but the rest of the message area displays remnants of Firefox. If I move the mouse along the Ribbon of Office, it will be displayed in pieces are the reached mouse. This problem has been held regularly since the version 18.0.0 and persists in 18.0.1. I prefer not to minimize Firefox so I can move conveniently via Alt - Tab from Firefox and the other application, in that I work, but this problem that is almost impossible. FYI, when I'm in Firefox, no other pop application on top, not other applications show otherwise, so I know that the problem is caused by Firefox and/or interaction weird with the new version and installed plugins, drivers or other software.

Could you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? (I have trouble determining your "more system information" if it is enabled or disabled). As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved?

  • Equium U400/146 - I need a replacement lcd cable/Ribbon

    Hello
Please help I have searched for days.
    I need a replacement lcd cable/Ribbon. Identification number (DDOBU2LC000)

My laptop is Toshiba Equium U400/146 PSU42E-00400SKS model number. Sound off out of warranty, so I took it to

I can still use the programs, the grays and whites shine through.

When it is connected to a crt monitor, the laptop is fine. Return to the cable, the screen number is REC-NI3311-LOL. C1

If someone could point me in the right direction for this part, I would be most gratefull

Ive tried mostve them and one of them I saw on TV (it's a screen samsung 69 inches 1080 p tv... and I know it works because ive connected before, but I forgot what to do to make it work), but when I connect it, it is upwards in Mode not supported... help please? I hate to play m games on this * fat dell monitor... (excuse my ASP) and I have a windows vista

    Hello

Method 1: To connect your computer to a television, your computer must have a video port that matches one of the inputs on your TV.

If your TV does not have a VGA or DVI input that matches an output on your computer, you'll need to use cables S-video or composite video.

If your computer does not have one of these TV-compatible outputs, then you might be able to install a new video card that has the right connection.

You will need an HDMI cable to connect TV with laptop.

Follow these steps to connect your computer to your TV:

    1. turn off your computer and place it near your TV. Unplug the monitor, but leave the mouse and keyboard connected.
    2. connect the video cable from your computer's output to your TV.
    3. turn on your TV and set it to the input that matches the output on your computer. You may need to refer to the supplied with your television user's guide for instructions on how to do it.
    4 turn on your computer.

You should see windows displayed on your TV. If the screen looks stretched, or part of the screen seems cut off, you will probably have to adjust the screen
    resolution in Windows.

Method 2: If Windows is displayed on your TV, you will need to reconnect the computer to your monitor and adjust the screen resolution before connect you to your TV.
