    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    Method 1:

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Internet Explorer 7 (IE 7) part of the Vista operating system. It cannot be uninstalled. He lives and dies with the system.
You don't use it, then, leave it alone. It's the ONLY thing that you can do.

For your information only: IE7 is way out of date. It has been replaed by IE8 and now the most recent Internet Explorer is IE 9.

    Reinstall Vista:

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

Thunderbird is designed such that there are many programs, to separate data from the program. If you have uninstalled Word, you don't expect all your .docx files and .doc to go too, would you?

You can uninstall and reinstall the Thunderbird program and data files (in your profile what is called), remain intact.

ALSO, AFTER THIS TEST, I GET A POP UP MSCONFIG WHO SAYS I'M IN THE DIAGNOSIS. I OPEN IT AND IT SHOWS THAT I AM IN NORMAL MODE. HOW CAN I FIX IT?

The error occurs in safe mode? See this article for instructions on how to enter safe mode: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true
The boot is designed to disable all startup, including your firewall. Once you have own dΘmarrΘ, the error should not appear. From there, you must enable a few entries start both until you have put your finger on what boot entry is initially setup.
Of course, since this was all caused after installing an HP printer, it may be a good idea to contact HP.
