  Looks like you want to adjust your versionCode android in your application. If you attempt to overwrite an application without incrementing the versionCode Android, it will fail. Add a versionCode Android, or uninstall the existing version before installing.

• Problem of starting an application signed on Playbook

  I'm trying to publish a native app free for Playbook running OS version 2.1.0.1917 and just hit a snag at the end...

  The application uses Qt GUI and works very well in both Debug and Release builds.

  But when I connect to the application via NDK, the application does not start.

  The content of the signed native directory BAR file are identical to the contents of the [success] unsigned BAR file.

  The directory META-INF signed BAR file seems to contain all the appropriate stuff:

  RDK. EC
  RDK. SF
  AUTHOR. EC
  AUTHOR. SF
  MANIFESTO. MF

  When I check the bar using the file

  BlackBerry-sign-check .bar

  the output shows all of the problems:

  My intuition tells me there could be something wrong with the Enrty Point. The section of the manifest entry Point reads:

  Thank you for your reply - and for the useful link. Yes, the application attempts to write to the local directories:

  App/data
  App/newspapers

  - but they must be OK I think that, given that the app should have read/write access to them.

  I think I found the problem well... and it seems to be in the fact that was missing the point of entry in the manifest file ""-blackberry platform " at the end."

  The thing is that I sign the BAR file using the option to export directly from the Momentics IDE, and it produced incomplete entry point of entry in the manifest:

  Then, once I signed this command line bar, it started working.

  So I think it's a bug in Momentics IDE. I I will explore a little more and will file a bug if it is confirmed.

  I have finished developing my application today and I'm finally ready to create a signed version and submit it. However when I installed my application using DDPB Installer, the app crashes at launch. This never happened and still can't if I launch a unsigned but the version of the App (also installed using DDPB) any ideas what is causing this problem? I can provide the broken bar file if this will help.

  This code is essentially the first substance that is executed, and it does not work, so then you probably have a weird compilation problem. Only thing I can suggest is to check how you do with a simple "Hello World" application that does practically nothing. If it works, then gradually add songs to your own installation program until it is not, or you have it all in and functional (how much you would have probably solved the question).

  You can also try to understand why the "submitted" does not work. When I do that to signed bars from other (when it helps find problems), I change only three things: 1 remove the four "signature", 2 change/add files the "-mode-application development: real ' entry and 3. change the package author and authorid to match those that I use in my debugging token.

  Another thing with it: If your re-compression method can add entries separated for the records, I think it fails. I use a zip program from command line, inside the original unzip .bar file level higher (after my changes), with "zip - rD *... / unsigned.bar - app ' as the command. The-d option says 'do not add directory entries '. According to the approach you used, this might explain it.

  A lot of discussions on resubmit etc.

  You just do the same as you did before.

  Only the essential is that you must get your version number, as the server prevents re-sign with the same version number.

  You can do this, depending on your environment, by editing the app.xml file, or possibly using the flag - buildId during packaging or maybe same signature.

  App World, you simply add a new version as you did before.  Also probably a very good idea to be specified in the release notes on the ground that you have changed, in which case it helps to speed up the approval.

  Also be sure to check the signature, if you aren't certain things.  Don't forget you can always check the meta-inf folder in your .bar file, and you can also do a test of validation on values in the MANIFEST. MF file... There are still many discussions where things like that are mentioned.

  It's a Windows 7 32 bit with the last SDK Tablet and Adobe AIR 3.0SDK. Save the keys worked as expected. The "jvm.dll" exists indeed.

  My apologies if this question has been answered AFTER March 31, but I never saw comments on the process from before then.  I submitted my application on 30 March and received the email saying that it has been accepted and is pending for approval testing.  I continued to improve and correct the problems with the app now to the point where it has many more features/functions and is more likely to 'sell' as a free app but I heard diddly since getting the email.  When I go on the portal of the app, I see that my application is still in a State of "Waiting on Test House.   I really want to present a new version, but hesitate to do so if he disqualify me.

  For sure, you won't lose your place. They will examine however still the first version before they review the new version. Personally, I would say the new version in the hope they approve them both at the same time (preferably before the launch).

  I wrote two LabVIEW applications. The first acquires data from three different devices, displays the data and writes it to a file. The second application reads the data and displays it on the screen.

  Can I install the first application and run it, but I can only install the second application if I uninstall the first application.

  You install applications by using a Setup program created with the application builder to LV?

  What LV version do you use?

  You have a dedicated for each installer build script, or do you still want to change the settings of a single build script (which would be a reason for this behavior!)?

  as the title suggests, does not open my signed application.

  A few facts:

  • When I touch my application signed on the device icon, the screen shakes from left to right, as a sign that he can't open.

  • I use a program called DDPB to install my signed. BAR in the device.
  • I signed with the same signature and with the same program (DDPB) other applications and they open.
