A single device showing on MAX for PCI-6259

Hello

I'm having a problem seeing all the channels available in a card PCI-6259. In MAX, the card is correctly classified NI PCI-6259, however in the tree view of the devices only one device is indicated 'Dev1' - where is "Dev0?

Two devices used to be, but we gave up and I don't know why.

I tried to reconnect the cables from the Commission on the two connector blocks has BNC-2090, or tried to reinstall the card of the Manager of Windows devices & MAX, but only 'Dev1' appears after you have reinstalled.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Simone

Peripheral will appear as a single device in "Devices and Interfaces" little matter how many connectors they have. (it's a device to the driver OR as it appears as a Windows device) The second connector simply implies that, when you run a program or a test Panel, you can now select more channels in the drop down menu to have and ao. You should be able to address all the channels of the AO in the same test Panel.

I have a new card PCIE-6323 in a new computer that replaces two cards PCI-6221 in an old computer.  0 has a SCB-68 connector and Connector 1 has a SCC-68.  My problem is that when I set up the tasks in MAX, there not a tab to view wiring diagrams as it was when I used the 6221 cards.

I'm under LabVeiw 2013 and the MAX is the 5.5.0f0 version.

    TEK,

No, to AO, I don't have the wiring plan either.

Xxx - 68 terminal blocks, as far as I know, they have the same numbering as device pinouts. If you are looking for the pinout of the device (available on MAX through the device) should give you the correct numbers for the wiring of the AO.

  • DAQmx Base 3.2 on Ubuntu for PCIe 6259

I'm trying to install the package DAQmx Base 3.2 for card PCIe-6259 on Ubuntu with kernel 2.6.27 - 14-generic. I followed the suggestions of other messages to convert the *.deb packages software packages, install these and rpm install the original rpm on top packages. All this worked fine, and I can update the driver with updateNIDrivers, which prints the message as shown below. But when I try lsdaq, I get the error (as also reported by many others):

As a note, I have NOT more than 4 GB of memory installed, and I use the mem = 4096M option at boot of the kernel.

    The logs show:

For example, libnipalu.so does not load because of problems with nipalk. I added the niSystemReport output in this file.

How could I continue debugging this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Restart is necessary to ensure that National Instruments drivers

    have been updated.

After a while of research and trying, I finally found a solution:

    (1) install Ubuntu 9.04

    (2) downgrade to kernel 2.6.24.2 source at http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.24.2.tar.bz2

3.2 Basic 3) get NIDAQMX and NIVISA 4.5, convert RPM to deb with alien package, install the deb package, install RPMS on top (make sure that Ubuntu does not use the shell of dashboard (dpkg - reconfigure dash))

    (4) missing patch of symbolic links for additional modules such as in/usr/local/natinst/nation/etc/clientkdb, you will find:

    NICORE/nidimk - unversioned.o-> /usr/local/natinst/.nicore/src/objects/nidimk-unversioned.o

    NICORE/niorbk - unversioned.o-> /usr/local/natinst/.nicore/src/objects/niorbk-unversioned.o

    vxipnp/NiViPciK - unversioned.o-> /usr/local/vxipnp/src/objects/NiViPciK-unversioned.o

    (5) then the updateNIDrivers should compile fine and lsdaq works

    (6) as an aside, I could even patching this kernel with xenomai http://download.gna.org/xenomai/stable/xenomai-2.4.2.tar.bz2 , and the driver OR still works.

A few minor corrections may be needed in this procedure to solve the problems of compiling because of the gcc - 4.3.3, but all errors may be google and trivially fixed by minimal changes in the makefiles or C-files.

  • Bad drift with USB-6259 devices and acquisition of data PCI-6259

We have both a USB-6259 and PCI-6259 installed on a single computer, linked to a SBC-68, with Matlab and Toolbox of data Acquisiution.

For the purposes of test base, I wrote a script that generates a sinusoidal signal output based MATLAB, for a single DAC output.  I wired this single DAC output to two channels of ADC of entry.  For each sample output DAC, the script also takes a sample entry of ADC on each channel.

--> Ideally, if everything works correctly, after you run the script, I see two channels of input ADC vector.  Tracing of each channel should give me a nice sine wave in Matlab.

--> When I made trace data, here's what I get (see attachment).

-->, I looked at the DAC output with an oscilloscope, and the DC offset is very close to 0 (this indicates to me that the part of output DAC works very well).

Why is there this negative DC drift on two entries?

Forgive my lack of knowledge - I know the difference between the DIFF and CSR connections, but I don't know where is the 'setting' for DIFF/CSR (what is a button/switch on the USB-6259 case?  Is it a software control in the code?)

  • Unknown device showing in DHCP for WRT400N

Hi, I have the WRT400N router with the latest firmware. Recently, I noticed a camera in my DHCP I do not recognize. It is not peripheral I own (trust me, I built up my brain and confirmed) as he shows as an Acer pc. However, I can't ping the IP address. I rebooted my router several times thinking maybe it's an old device connected but saved in memory but it comes back. I think maybe this is someone hijacking my Internet, but not sure. I am using WEP security, but it shows a connection to the local network, which is strange for a wireless device. The only hard cables pc is my HP. Suggestions before I start having to redo all my SSID and security type/passwords? Not that it makes a difference, but I don't broadcast my SSID, but know there are programs that still find them. Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions!

Well Yes, already tried Mac filtering, but that only works for wireless devices and like I said it shows as LAN. However, thanks for your comments

    Hello:

You should be able to use all the W7 x 64 drivers and software the g7z-2100 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

You need the driver for the hardware ID you have posted.

This package contains the driver that allows the Realtek card reader in laptop models running a supported operating system. The card reader allows users to read or write to removable storage cards supported, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players and cell phones.

Error allocating I/O BAR for PCI device

strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for Setup utility

The PCI-E bus is version 1.1, but your card is version 2.1

    http://Ark.Intel.com/products/36783/Intel-5520-IO-hub

Your Xeon processors are not listed as the min spec core I5 3 rd Gen.

There is no solution for this its the same reason that OLD maps sound and TV Tuner cards also do not work in the latest and most recent machines.

For PCI and PCIe devices, a BAR is a Base address register which is used by the BIOS or the OS to tell the device door on what looks to match its memory resources in. Most of the PCI devices in your system requires a certain amount of memory space, and the BIOS tries to adapt all inferior to 4 GB for compatibility with 32-bit operating systems.

    Hello akibono

I imagine that you have installed Windows XP Home clean on your laptop and now you want to install all the drivers, tools and utilities. Am I right about that?

In any case, after the installation of Windows XP Home edition you install all the drivers, tools and utilities in the order of the specific facilities. After doing this, everything should be OK and every hardware component will be correctly configured.
Please install all the stuff as follows:
    WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
    Driver Chipset
    Display driver
    Audio driver
    Driver modem
    Storage Manager
    LAN driver
    Touchpad driver
    WLAN driver
    Toshiba Assist
    Flash Media driver
    Driver webcam
    Hardware configuration
    Controls
    And so on

I hope that everything will be OK.

I'm looking to change my operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7, I feel that I should have all my drivers in place before installing Win 7. I have a Dell Dimension 8300 PC.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

There is no upgrade XP to Win 7. You will have to wipe the hard drive and do a clean install. If all the drivers that are installed will now be lost. All your personal files are lost too if you must go back and placed on external media first and be sure to have your software product key and software installation media (for example, MS Office), because you will have to reinstall everything

Dell does not support Win 7 on the Dimension 8300. If you run the free Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to see if your system is capable of managing in Win 7 and what drivers and software can be a problem. You can watch the video here to get advice from Microsoft by moving from XP to Windows 7.

And to answer your specific questions, this driver can be installed when you install the chipset after loading Windows 7, or it could be the modem driver Conexant (dial-up). So if you use an Ethernet port to connect to the internet, it can even no need to install drivers for the modem.
