A way to change the colors of metal (gold, etc.) into text in 3D?

Often, I find that the metallic colors in 3D texts are not quite what I want.  However looks a little too light yellow and I sometimes use brass, but is possible to change these colors?

I find nothing in the titles themselves.

    One of the first things I do after installing Photoshop is to disable anti-aliasing for the paths for this reason. Paths are much easier to see, use and follow with this option off.

  • on the different ways to change the color of the skin

    I love this video and ever since I discovered it I used the technique of myself, but how it differs from Select / range of colors and using the pipette and replace the skin darker with lighter skin like that? I've experimented with colors and simple forms and I see no difference.

    There are several ways to do the same thing in Color PS. range just selects an area of the same color. Once you get this selection is to you what method you want to use to edit the selected pixels. The curves were a way to change the tone of a color box. This video is just brushes in this correction, where as selective color selects these areas for you and may or may not give you a more accurate choice - could be too specific and show the transition.

  • What would be the best way to change the color of a part of this picture? (image attached)

    I am on XP using PS CS4.

    Please see the picture below. I would like to change the color of the shirt/deck of this lady, and I was wondering what the best way is to do it. I know that if I try to change the color, white bowls change color as well. In the past, I've isolated parts of images using paths, but I wanted to know if it was the most effective way. Maybe the masking is the answer. I just wanted to hear from the pros

    Thank you.

    I'm not pro, but you can isolate areas likely to be affected by the change of color. Try the quick selection tool (which detects the edges) with mask edge/refine refine to refine the selection.

    You must compose messages in HTML format in order to apply the colors, styles, and other formatting. The default format is defined under the tools/account settings /accountname/Composition & address.

  • Is there a way to change the color layer tag via the Script?

    I tried to use the listener from Script to find the event to change the color of the layer tag, but there is no order saved on my desktop. I've scoured the forums and the depths of huge... ooogle and nothing is helping.

    I checked the API for an Art Layer and found no option to assign a color label.

    I want to change the color tag of the:

    The purple color of the tag:

    Could someone please help point me in the right Direction?

    Just solved my own question:

    Photoshop has been weird so I had to change the color 2 times for the event must be recognized... idk why but it worked: here is the code:

    desc66.putReference (idnull, ref55);

    idT var = charIDToTypeID ("T");

    var desc67 = new ActionDescriptor();

    var idClr = charIDToTypeID ("Clr");

    var idClr = charIDToTypeID ("Clr");

    var idVlt = charIDToTypeID ("Vlt");

    desc67.putEnumerated (idClr, idClr, idVlt);

    var idLyr = charIDToTypeID ("Lyr");

    desc66.putObject (idT, idLyr, desc67);

    executeAction (idsetd, desc66, DialogModes.NO);

    Matt,

    You are missing a Panel in the part of the module of titration. Go to the window > properties of title and opens. There, you will see the Fill, Stroke and oh, so much more.

    Good luck

  • How to change the color of window frames, etc. ?

    I just upgraded to El Capitan, and it is incredibly ugly.  Is it possible to

    • Change the color of the frames around the windows

    • To disable or change the color of the shadow

    I was unable to find anything on changing these settings in El Capitan.  We're really stuck with this hideous color?

    You are limited to what you can find in the system as well as preferences to change the appearance of things.  I'm sure there are some 3rd party hacks that allow you to do what you are looking for, but I don't know what they are, and I defend people never hack the OS anyway, as it's always entirely and completely unpredictable.

  • What is the best way to change the color of the first word in a paragraph?

    I have a lot of paragraphs where I want that the first word to keep the same font, the size, the type - but I want to change just the color of the lettering.

    I suggest to do this:

    (1) change your BC 4567000000 to the following line:

    4,567,000,000 BC - name derived from Hades.

    (2) add the following line after the top of the page:

    . first-word {color: red ;}}

    Note the period in the above code.

    The top of line will now look like this:

    H1 {make-size: 200%; do-family: "Comic Sans MS"; color: #66FFFF; text-align: center ;}}

    H2 {make-size: 100%; do-family: "Comic Sans MS"; color: Red ;}}

    p {make-size: 100%; do-family: "Comic Sans MS"; color: #EEEEEE ;}}

    . First-word {color: red ;}}

    Alternatives are almost similar to this one but try this one and then come back and demand the implementation of alternatives.

  • Change the color of compoundPathItems created by converting text to paths using createOutline()

    I used createOutline() to convert the text to paths. However, the return is a GroupItem and I struggled to change its stroke and fill colors.

    Here is my script:

    var docActive = app.documents.add ();

    textFrame var = docActive.pathItems.rectangle (0, 0, 200, 20);

    var areaText = docActive.textFrames.areaText (textFrame);

    areaText.contents = "Hello My Friend";

    areaText.textRange.characterAttributes.size = Math.round(20*0.85);

    var textOutline = areaText.createOutline ();

    Try to change the stroke and fill of textOutline colors but I got stuck here...

    Try this, I added comments next to each line

    var docActive = app.documents.add();
    var textFrame = docActive.pathItems.rectangle( 0, 0, 200, 20);
    var areaText = docActive.textFrames.areaText(textFrame);
    areaText.contents = "Hello My Friend";
    areaText.textRange.characterAttributes.size = Math.round(20*0.85);

    var textOutline = areaText.createOutline(); // this is a group

    var compoundPaths = textOutline.compoundPathItems; // each letter is a compound path

  • Is there an easy way to change the color of the Glyphish icons?

    Hello

    If you go to http://www.glyphish.com/download/, you can download a PSD that contains a group of icons, each in its own layer. All the icons are gray, however.

    http://www.glyphish.com/images/icondemo.png

    Is it possible to apply a color overlay to all layers and then create a PNG file by icon, with the new color applied?

    Hello

    I found a way to do it by getting rid of unnecessary layers, select all the layers icon, grouping, apply color overlay to the group, and layer creation based slices out of them.

    Then save for Web did the trick.

    Thank you.

  • Easy way to change the color of an image in levels of grayscale or bitmap?

    Well, I tried this search here and on the web in general, and all I can find are of the ridiculously long workarounds. It seems to be the only thing that was incredibly simple to Quark and yet is almost impossible to do in InDesign.

    Well, I hope I'm wrong on this issue.

    So, is there an easy way to do this? Import an image into grayscale, click a shade and apply it to the image, inheriting the percentage of the gray-scale values? Or even a bitmap, with none of the percentages to inheret?

    Thanks in advacnce, people. Fingers crossed!

    Select the image with the direct Selection (white arrow) tool and select the shade. Or... just drag the shade on the chart.
